Chapter 49: Don't be angry:

As soon as we entered into the car Qi Yan sighed deeply and hugged me tightly. To be honest, I was a bit shocked because I didn't expect Qi Yan to hug me, however, I quickly accepted and began to gently pat him. I began to comfort him in quiet and awkward shape so I decided to ask Qi Yan to let go of me. He looked so discouraged when I got out of the car that I started to regret my choice. When I opened the door on his side his face looked more happy instead of depressed. I smiled watching him and gently pulled him out of the car and gave him a long hug. Qi Yan's taller than me so when we hugged it was usually me who lay on his shoulder but now he was bending over to lie on my shoulder. Gosh, I never realised how short I was, compared to Qi Yan, until now. "If you want to cry, then cry. Nobody is judging you," I whispered. Qi Yan smiled and replied, "I'm alright now, after all, I'm used to it. Thank you for sticking up for me back then,". I blushed and muttered that it was right.

"Anyways, I don't think that situation should be one you're meant to be used to. Let's not dwell on this matter. Come on I'll drive you to a lovely scenery popular in Sichuan*(1)," I muttered gently. However, Qi Yan immediately had a change of face. "Hui Qing, I don't know how I should say this..." began Qi Yan but I quickly interrupted him saying "I know what you are worrying about. Trust me, I stay well in the speed limit range where you wouldn't feel nauseous ever. Qi Yan nodded however he still looked doubtful but hopped into the car seat I was sitting in before.

I hopped inside the car and started it. Not long later we had left the Qi Mansion and on the road to the destination I'd chosen. Luckily Qi Yan didn't see the destination I typed up on Google Maps. However, I did let him choose A or B. A was to go to the Five-Coloured Pool in Huan Long National Park. And B was to go to the Nuri Lang waterfall in Jiu Zhaiguo National Park. Qi Yan chose A. A good choice I must say because I really wanted to go and see the five-coloured pool when Qi Yan told me we were going to Sichuan.

When I first started driving Qi Yan was hugging onto the holder in case anything were to happen to him. It was quite amusing at the same time. However, when he noticed that I wasn't going too quick he gently relaxed and opened the radio. The radio was switched to a classical music section. I think classical music is alright however it makes me fall asleep without the intention to. Perhaps Qi Yan also listened to this music to fall asleep, because I saw he was falling asleep. Gosh, how tired was he? I drove carefully and gently to let him sleep. However, I'll reach the destination in 10 minutes was I to wake him up or not? Actually, I might stop over at a nearby restaurant buy some food and find a parking space on the cliff that resided over the five-coloured lake.

I ended up stopping at McDonalds to get some food. However, I soon realised I was in a bit of a pickle. Most of the food was spicy. Gosh, I really can't take spice really well. I decided to get a spicy chicken burger for Qi Yan with a cup of caramel Frappuccino. And I got the only non-spicy chicken burger there with a caramel Frappuccino. By the time we had reached the five-coloured lake, everyone was gone because the sightseeing had closed however we were watching it from a cliff so it was fine. I would have preferred to go inside and see it however I didn't want to wake Qi Yan up. I parked the car grabbed my burger and gently leaned on the car whilst watching the view and eating.
