Chapter 39: Do you've any proof? (2)

Before I could say anything the door busted open and Yong Zhen walked in panting. It seems like he had run here. "Professor my iPad's been hacked," he panted. I looked at him in confusion and asked "Why's that so much of a coincidence my iPad's been hacked as well? That's why my brother has it,". Professor Chen looked at us and asked Xiu Ying to show us her designs on her iPad. Yong Zhen and I huddled together and we flipped through the designs together. It was the same, even the butterfly was there. Wait yes the butterfly. That can prove our innocence. The butterfly was something I doodled there when thinking about the logo for my shop. And I used that very same logo for my shop. I went to check on the shop three days ago so I have got a picture of the logo on my phone. I looked at Xiu Ying and asked her whether or not she was sure this was her work. Wen Xiu Ying nodded again but I laughed. Yong Zhen looked at me in confusion but my face remained calm so he didn't ask any questions.

"Feng Xiu Ying why are you so sure that we copied your work," I questioned. "Everyone in the upper circle knows that your dearest brother is a computer genius. So he must've helped you hack into my iPad,". I laughed again and admitted, "I don't deny that my brother is a computer genius however Yong Zhen's iPads and my laptop were hacked but you never said yours was hacked,". Feng Xiu Ying stammered and replied, "I didn't know my iPad was hacked until today when I asked one of the IT teachers to run a check on it,". Liar let me see how long you're going to lie for.

"Feng Xiu Ying since you said that this is your work then can you explain why is there a golden butterfly stitched at the hem of the trousers?" I asked. "I just placed it there absentmindedly," she replied. I laughed again and replied "That's wrong you liar," turning toward the professor I announced that I could prove Yong Zhen's and mine innocence. She nodded at me as I began explaining "Feng Xiu Ying there is something you don't know about... The butterfly on the hem of the trousers is the new logo I made for my shop. So yes I wanted to sell this at my new shop. The shop's name is Golden Butterfly which is why there is a golden butterfly there. And I didn't draw it there absentmindedly,". Professor Chen looked at me as if she believed me however she wanted some evidence to support my claim. Hence I hastily grab my phone to show her the logo picture. After looking at the photo Professor Chen turned toward Xiu Ying and asked "What do you've to say about that?".

Before Xiu Ying could reply my phone rang and I picked up the call. It was didi. We were talking for a while before I opened up the speaker and asked didi to repeat everything he just said. "Hello, I'm Fu Huai Ning, Hui Qing's didi. Two days ago Hui QIng found out her iPad was hacked so she asked me to fix it and found out who hacked the iPad. And so I found out who hacked her iPad. That person was very careless and I found out his IP address is actually within the school campus. Fu's family has done the school a favour and we found out that the person who hacked Hui Qing was none other than the student called Ao Yong Zhong. He also confessed that it was Xiu Ying who had asked him to hack Hui Qing and another boy's iPad to find out the files. If Professor Chen doesn't believe me then you can ask the young boy yourself," And with that very phone call Professor Chen looked as if she believed us. However, she still said that she would investigate and asked Yong Zhen and me to leave but Xiu Ying stayed behind.

As we stepped outside of the room I texted didi a quick thank you and that I'll invite him to dinner when he comes back to China. Yong Zhen looked at me and I suddenly remembered I had some explaining to do. And so I told him everything about the shop and how I wanted him to work there. Yong Zhen looked very happy and agreed. But I did have to tell him that I couldn't hire him yet because the store was not done yet. But we ended up grabbing boba to celebrate our marvellous score. In three weeks school would end soon. And I still haven't dealt with Hui Yun's problems. I need to find her a lover before the new semester starts which means I've 9 weeks including the summer holiday. Life is not easy.
