Chapter 37: Feng Xiu Ying, you are so shameless!

Hui Qing POV:

After I ended the call everyone around me started teasing me for calling Qi Yan 'darling'. "Cut it out," I screamed. This alerted the teacher who was going around the dorms and she busted open the door to find us beginning a pillow fight. "What is the meaning of this? Are you guys kids?" she lectured. We all sat solemnly on our beds as we waited for her to finish her speech. Glancing at each other I noticed that we were all trying very hard not to laugh. In the end, the teacher left after lecturing us for half an hour. As soon as the door closed we all busted out laughing, the door opened again and we sat there silently as if nothing had happened but the minute the door closed we were laughing quietly. Ah, so much fun. I wish these days would never end. Who would've thought that tomorrow would not be so much fun but a misery?

The next day:

I walked into classes today to find the professor smiling at us. Why was she smiling? Did something happen? I noticed that Feng Xiu Ying arrived after me but I couldn't care less... She walked past me and glared at me but I didn't notice her. Walking up to Yong Zhen I asked "Why's the professor so happy?". Yong Zhen looked at me pulled my chair out for me to sit on and replied "I'm not sure. But she sure is in a good mood which is very good for us,". I looked at him and nodded. At that moment somebody lightly tapped my shoulder and I noticed that it was Su An An. The daughter of one of Aunties friends. Why was she here? "You don't mind me sitting here do you?" she asked whilst pulling the chair next to mine. I shook my head and she began to sit down. Why was the daughter of the Su family sitting next to me?

At that moment the bell rang and I didn't pay any attention to Su An An. Professor Chen looked at all of us and began to do the register. Apart from Chen Xiao Xiao and Lan Zhan who are sick but everyone knows those two are on a date somewhere. But no one was going to snitch however who would've known that this Su An An would step up and say that she saw them going on a date bright early in the morning? I looked at Su An An as if she was demented. You don't just snitch like that, no one likes snitches. I looked at her and I realised that it wasn't up to me to tell her. She should learn it the hard way. Many people shot Su An An glances but she didn't realise. Should I tell her? Maybe she doesn't realise what she's doing. I heard from Auntie Su that Su An An was home-schooled because she was always sick. She isn't mentioned in our social circle either. Whatever maybe I'll talk to her later.

Many people were muttering so Professor Chen banged and it grew silently again. She finished the register and began handing some papers out for us. It was our score for the test. I looked at Yong Zhen and we both got an A*. Thank god. That means I didn't fail this year. Professor Chen began to congratulate us and showed us the top 10 works out of a class of 30. Yong Zhen and my work got top 3. We were already celebrating when somebody shouted out that we had copied her work. It was Feng Xiu Ying. I remember that she didn't do the work because she had just come back. "What's wrong?" Professor Chen asked as everyone's attention turned to Xiu Ying. "Professor, Yong Zhen and Hui Qing copied their work based on my ideas,". I turned towards her and screamed, "Feng Xiu Ying what are you saying? How can you be so shameless? Not only did you steal my boyfriend but now you're saying that I stole your work?"
