How Beautiful
Iris didn't stop what she was doing. She continued to train her eyesight until she mastered it. After almost five minutes, she looked back at Gavriel.
"I'm ready! Please open this barrier..." Iris said as she closed her eyes, ready to control her hearing ability.
Soon after, a loud noise assaulted her eardrums, but she endured it while focusing her mind. She asked her mind to limit her hearing ability to only what was happening near her in this cafe.
However, it was not as simple as she thought. Unlike her eyes' ability, which allowed her to see in a single line of sight, the deafening noises came from every direction, making it challenging to handle. She could feel her eardrums hurting as if they were pricked by thousands of sharp needles. Her hands clenched tightly as she endured the nameless pain attacking her eardrums.
