COFFEE SHOP - MORNING

The aroma of freshly brewed coffee fills the cozy coffee shop as Ethan sits at a corner table, sipping his cappuccino and lost in thought. He's a man with a thoughtful and somewhat troubled look on his face.

Iva with a hint of danger in her eyes enters the coffee shop, her piercing gaze scanning the room. She spots Ethan and a mischievous smile forms on her lips. Iva approaches his table, her black leather jacket swaying as she walks.

Iva smirks, "Fancy meeting you here, Ethan."

Ethan startles, nearly spilling his coffee.

Ethan eyed her cautiously, "Iva? What are you doing here?"

Iva takes a seat across from him, her eyes never leaving his.

Iva smiles, "I've been keeping an eye on you, Ethan. I knew our paths would cross eventually."

Ethan was confused, "Why? What do you want from me?"

Iva leans in closer, her voice low and conspiratorial.

Iva smirks, "I have a proposition for you, Ethan. One that could change everything for both of us."

Ethan furrows his brow, intrigued despite himself.

Ethan doens't like Iva precense, "Go on."

Malice glances around, ensuring no one is eavesdropping.

Iva scolds, "My best friend and her fiancé, they've betrayed me in the worst way possible. I want revenge, Ethan. I want them to suffer."

Ethan hesitates for a moment, considering the gravity of her words.

Ethan is way too skeptical, "And how do I fit into all of this?"

Iva leans even closer, her gaze intense.

Iva continues, "You're a man with resources, connections, and a grudge of your own. Help me take down my best friend, and I'll help you with your vendetta. We can be each other's allies in this twisted game."

Ethan contemplates her offer, torn between his own demons and the allure of vengeance.

Ethan said, "What's your plan?"

Iva smirks, her eyes glinting with a dangerous resolve.

Iva adds, "Oh, Ethan, you're going to love it. But first, we need to become partners in this dark dance. Are you in?"

Ethan takes a deep breath, knowing that this decision could alter the course of his life forever.

Ethan deals with her, "I will think about it."

Iva clasp hands, sealing her sinister alliance in that dimly lit coffee shop, Iva's soul bound by revenge and their shared desire for retribution.

Ethan wanted to take this one opportunity to convince his mother not to interfere with his life anymore and now he has Iva on his side with this person he can take his mother down.
