Secret (Part 2)

"Tomaru Shigaraki, one of the students escaped the building." The man in the mist materialized behind the man with blue-hair.

Shigaraki snarled in frustration, his hands scratching at his neck. "Kurogiri, If you weren't our way out of here, I would have already disintegrated you. Finish your job with Thirteen and return immediately."

The black mist nodded and disappeared.

"I suppose we need to put pause this game and continue another time. But before we leave, let's hurt All Might's pride." Shigaraki stalked over to where Deku and Tsuyu were hiding.

His hand reached for Tsuyu's head, but when his five fingers touched the girl's head, nothing happened. Shigaraki sighed and looked over his shoulder.

"You really are cool, Eraserhead."

Even though pinned down by the birdman, Aizawa raised his head to look at Shigaraki to erase his Quirk.

"Nomu, get rid of him." Shigaraki ordered.

The Nomu lifted Aizawa's head up and smashed downwards. Suddenly, a wave of darkness slashed through the Nomu's hand and dismembered it from its body. The wave blasted the Nomu and Shigaraki backwards, sending them crashing into a faraway building.

"Perhaps someone could humor me? How do they plan on killing the number 1 hero when they can't even finish off a group of 15 year-olds and two pro heroes? Pathetic."

Deku's eyes followed the source of the voice to the top of a building. A black-haired young man sat on the rooftop with one leg propped up and the other swinging lightly in the air. Noticing the boy's gaze, the man stood up and jumped down from the roof in one graceful motion. He strode to the clearing and mimicked a grabbing motion. A large pitch black claw scooped up Deku and Tsuyu from the water and dropped them behind the man. Another picked up Aizawa and laid him gently next to the man.

The young man clicked his tongue after taking a glance at the injured hero. "I'm surprised you're still conscious." He kneeled down next to Aizawa and reached out with his hand.

"Don't touch Aizawa sensei!" Deku shouted, running forward. Tsuyu shot out her tongue at the man's hand. The man's hand moved in a flash and grabbed Tsuyu's tongue. "How brave but foolish."

Ribbons of darkness sprang up from Deku's and Tsuyu's shadows and circled around their limbs, locking the children in place. The man released his grip on Tsuyu's tongue and studied the two.

"If I don't tell you to move, then don't move. If you can't follow such simple directions, then I will have to dispose of you."

Deku's eyes widened in fear.

"I have no ill intent towards any of you. You will let me help you. You are smart children, do you understand what I'm saying?" The man looked at the two, and Deku nodded slowly. The ribbons disappeared, and the two regained their freedom. But they didn't move.

The man placed his right hand over Aizawa's face, and the hero immediately started to struggle. The black ribbons appeared again, tying Aizawa down. The man sighed. "Please stop moving."

"Izuku, Tsuyu, run!" Aizawa gasped.

Deku and Tsuyu looked at each other, but they didn't dare take a step.

"Something I just don't get about heroes. All they can think about is helping others when they're the ones in danger," the man said. He sat down next to Aizawa and crossed his legs. He teasingly poked the injured hero on his cheek with his finger. "Think about what you're saying, hero. Your students are in no shape to defend themselves right now. If you make them run, can you guarantee their safety?"

"Run!" Aizawa repeated.

The man put his hand on his forehead and heaved a sigh once more. The man gestured at Deku and Tsuyu. "Broccoli boy and frog girl, tell your teacher to stop struggling. If he doesn't let me heal him, he's going to go blind in a few minutes. At that point, not even the best healer can do anything about his eyes."

"I'm not getting help from you!" Aizawa retorted.

Deku bowed down low at his teacher even though the injured hero could not see him. "Aizawa sensei, please! If he wanted to hurt us, he would have done so already. Please let him help you. You can't go blind!"

"Don't you dare hurt my students," Aizawa growled before his body collapsed onto the floor. The man clicked his tongue in apparent disapproval but removed the hero's bindings. Moving his hand above Aizawa's eyes, his fingers glowed white. It was silent as the man concentrated. Deku and Tsuyu didn't make any noise, afraid of disturbing the man.

For what seemed like an eternity later, the man withdrew his hand and exhaled a long breath. As he reached up with gloved hands to massage his eyes, he said, "His eyes are safe now. But your teacher is still in critical condition."

The man tapped a gloved finger on Aizawa's chest. "Mr. Hero, a bit of advice to you. No matter what, don't use your Quirk again, or else you'll just make your injury worse. I would rather not have my hard work go down the drain."

The man turned to look at Deku and Tsuyu. He held out his hand, and bandages materialized in his hands. "Does any of you two know how to bandage his wounds?"

Deku and Tsuyu nodded.

"So you're not completely useless. Take these and treat your teacher. Don't let him move around too much, that will make the broken bones worse." The man casually tossed the materials at the them.

"Thank you, sir! Thank you for saving our lives!" Deku caught the bandages in two hands. "May I ask for your hero name, sir?"

The man studied Deku for a brief moment. "A hero name? Sorry, but I don't have one." His eyes drifted to where the Nomu and Shigaraki were had been blown away and stood up.

"Wait! Where are you going?" Deku shouted after him. "It's dangerous over there!"

The man paused, rubbing the back of his neck. "Don't misunderstand. I saved you because I didn't like to see them bullying children. But, I'm not here for you. I'm here for the show, and I want to get the front row seats."

An explosion shook the ground, and Shigaraki and the Nomu landed a distance away from the man.

The man glanced in their direction and chuckled. "The main characters have just arrived. Perhaps I should go and say hello."

Shigaraki stared warily at the man before him. Something told him that he was really dangerous. Perhaps, even more dangerous than All Might. He didn't know who he was, this was not a part of his plans. "Who are you, and what are you doing here?"

The man's eyes landed on him, and his gaze hardened. The change in aura made Deku feel like he was looking at a completely different person. That carefree attitude had been replaced with something much much darker.

The man said, "I'm here for the show."

"Show? Are you delusional? There's no show here."

"We're just waiting on one more person."

"Why did you attack us?"

"Why not?"

Shigaraki snarled, and his scratching intensified. He couldn't read the young man at all, but he felt like he was being mocked by him.

"Your name. What is it?" the young man asked.

"Tomaru Shigaraki, leader of the League of Villains," Shigaraki growled.

"Shigaraki... That sounds familiar..." The man mused.

Shigaraki's scratching stopped. No one should know that name. No one.
