Scarlet - Part 1

Simultaneously, just as the Weapon Hall of Legends disappeared, the space of the pocket world collapsed as Crystal grabbed ahold of Rin's hand and teleported them to the surface.

Upon noticing the cracks forming around them as the ground above them began to fracture from the recent earthquake. Followed by a vortex that began to grow larger in place of the weapon hall as it devoured the energy around it to stabilize itself.

Creating a link between their world and whatever world or realm the weapon hall escaped to; something that had to be prevented at all costs as it could lead to the outbreak of a war or worse the destruction of their planet.

However, while catastrophic the Kurama Clan would not let such a thing occur in their territory.

Meanwhile, at the site of the vortex within the central hall main building, two elders and Adam suddenly appeared after the grand elder instructed them to take care of the issue that occurred within Kura town.

"Hmm…while still manageable, the situation is much worse than we initially expected," Tom told Adam as Robert went to quell the unrest in the town; before he jumped down into the pit that formed after the collapse of the pocket world and the miniature earthquake.

"You can say that again," Adam agreed as he inspected the area and realized that the weapon hall was truly gone, 'Sigh… while disappointing, luckily we managed to milk it while we could.'

He smiled until he noticed the state his wife and child were in as they stood a few meters away from him, "Um, is everything alright?"

"…" Crystal and Rin.

"Hmm… sorry about that, but it seems Mommy has lost her soul, Dad," Rin replied before backing up after realizing his father was but an inch away from his face.

"… I see," Adam muttered before smiling, "Welp, I guess it can't help so Rin could you please do me a favor and take care of Mommy until I come back?"

"Okay!"

"Well, then bye for now and I'll see you shortly, kiddo!" Adam said before jumping into the pit to help Tom to close the vortex.

"Bye, Dad!" Rin said before dragging his mom to some place to sit as he waited for his father to return from his task.

Thud.

"So, what's the game plan?" Adam asked Tom, who just outright ignored him as he looked at the vortex with curiosity and amazement.

Before taking out six talismans made from an unknown beast's skin and thew them into the air, which had the words, "isolate and seal," carved upon them in Chinese.

Whoosh. Zip. Zip. Zip.

That zoomed toward the vortex before stopping a few inches away and erecting four walls, which encased the vortex in a cube-like prison made of wavy lines that moved across its surface.

Cutting off the vortex's energy supply while isolating it from the world, causing the vortex to begin to shrink as it could not sustain itself nor the expenditure needed to forge a bridge between the two worlds.

"Just stand back, relax as you watch a master at work, Adam… as all I got to do now, is just continue to supply the prison with energy and everything should work out as planned," Tom stated with a smile as he sat down and steadily supplied a stream of qi to the talismans.

A few minutes later…

"You know what, Adam if you wouldn't mind, could you use the glass cylinder, I'm about to give you to seal the penny-sized vortex for me?" Tom asked as he tapped his multi-K, a multipurpose watch that could be used as a storage unit, closet, fridge, and even a means of escape to retrieve a glass cylinder.

That had both ends sealed with a metal lid which Tom twisted right then left twice causing it to break in half. Revealing that its interior was made entirely out of void rock. A precious mineral that could only be found in outer space or the debris site of a meteorite.

"Sure… Tom, however, why did you wait for it to become the size of a penny, before doing such a dangerous task?" Adam asked Tom as held the cylinder and cautiously began to approach the vortex.

"Because this is the only moment when a vortex is at its weakest yet strongest moment, plus it's an excellent study material for understanding talismans that involve Spatial Laws." commented Tom as he urged Adam to hurry up, "So please do hurry as I'm starting to run out of energy."

"Okay, okay just give me a moment," Adam said as Tom created a gap in the prison, allowing him to seal the vortex and accomplish their task of eliminating the problem.

Snap. Whir. Click.

"Sorry for the wait, but here," Adam said as he threw the cylinder at Tom before leaving to go take his son and wife back home.

"Thanks, Adam, and I owe you one!" Tom shouted upon receiving his precious study material, 'Now all I got to do is find a buyer, and boom money for life, baby!'

"You're welcome, Tom! Now let us return to the surface before this whole underground area gets filled with dirt."

"Oh, shit! I would have forgotten about that if you did not say anything," Tom exclaimed as put the glass cylinder back in his multi-K and vanished from the area.

Appearing next to the statute of their ancestor along with Adam, as a group of Earth Cultivators approached them from afar. Before suddenly stopping and clasping their hands together, which began to grow green as they briefly prayed to Gaia for strength before slamming their hands onto the ground.

Causing it to rumble as they linked their energy together and filled the space below them with dirt before solidifying it and transforming it into rock a temporary fix for now.

Until one of the craftsmen from the Guild arrives to resolve the issue an organization that runs orphanages around the world and helps nurture people into capable fighters, magicians, doctors, pharmacists, blacksmiths, and craftsmen.

"Were done, sir!" One of the Earth Cultivators said with a bow toward Adam and Tom.

"Thanks for the help, Julius," Adam said with a smile as he threw a sack of coins towards them which contained about §2,500 jewels.

"No problem, sir we're just glad to be of some assistance," He smiled with gratitude as he and his friends left.

"Well, that was generous of you and here, I thought you were just another cold-hearted bastard," Tom smirked as glanced at Adam and left to go experiment with his new toy as the latter just glanced at him and shook his head.

Before waking home as it seemed Crystal awoke from her earlier state and took Rin home.
