48. Dark Mana Part 4

Cleopatra walked to Audrey who was busy picking the best fruits for tonight's dinner but she was dragged by her collar to the woods, "ay, ay! What's wrong master?! What did I do wrong?"

"Nothing, I just need your help" Cleopatra mumbled while looking around, she didn't want anyone to disturb them while teleporting, "you'll come with me"

"Where?" Cleo held her hands and interwind their fingers, "to the abyss"

"Wait wha-" she gasped when the dark mana showed up under their feet, when she looked up at Cleopatra, she didn't see her but the other thing System 0 had seen, the same glowing dark grey head with glowing white eyes and black mouth with stitches holding it.

"Stare. Into. The. Abyss." The dark thing told Audrey, who looked into its black mouth then its glowing white eyes, she kept staring at it until the two of them were swallowed by the darkness down before another dark hole opened and rose them into a dark place.

The scary face faded and returned back Cleo's, Audrey gasped and held her with trembling hands, "haha, why are you trembling?" Cleo asked patting her back.

"That thing-"

"Probably my abyss" she mumbled trying to catch her breath after being swallowed by the darkness.

"I tried to finish it but I couldn't, that's probably why" she turned to smile at Audrey who tried to force a smile but couldn't because their current situation didn't help, "you need help?"

"Yes please" an earthquake shook them before something glowing came out as a tsunami with a wide and scary stitched smile, "aahahahahahahahaha, you think getting someone else by your side will save you?" Many screens appeared and showed the same memory that terrified Cleopatra before, when Audrey saw it, she turned to look at her master who darkness started to swallow.

"Master?" She held her hand, "you can use me"

Cleo watched her bright smile and shook her head, "n- No, not like this" her body started to tremble more and fear seemed clearer on her eyes.

"But I don't mind master. Please, let me help you" she begged with her big puppy eyes. Cleopatra sighed and held Truth Seeker, she took a deep breath before she opened her eyes and stabbed her.

Audrey's body started to fade slowly and get consumed by Cleo's mana. Her eyes glowed blue before ice formed on her body as an armor and Truth Seeker was shining so bright that the black creature needed to close its eyes for a second until the light calmed a bit.

"Haha, look at yourself, you think this will save you?" It asked not knowing what's waiting for it.

"No, I don't think" she put the tip of the blade on the dark ground creating by that a circle of ice. Slowly, it came out of it ice soldiers, "I'm sure!" She pulled up the blade and launched with her soldiers after her toward the dark creature.
