Two weeks worth of power

Getting out a preprepared contract, that she only had to fill out, she filled it out. Leaving only the signature of Kalvin and the exact method of payment, upfront or in rates.

She obviously expected him to pay upfront, she was taken aback.

To her Kalvin did not seem to appear to be some rich guy. Instead, the way he behaved was quite down to earth.

Not wanting to waste any more time, he signed the contract.

Amelia was almost trembling with excitement. Her first ever real sail had gone extremely well.

"Thank you very much for your time and I will get in contact with you about the transfer of the deed as soon as all the documents are ready and the money has arrived at our account It should not be more than a day or two at max.

It was a pleasure to make business with you."

Amelia said with a honest smile.

"Well about that, I see you have come here with a car, so could you..."

"Give you a ride back to the city? certainly."

The woman interrupted the awkwardly smiling Kalvin.

While he could jog back at the moment, he did not particularly feel like doing that.

"In that case, thank you very much."

Getting into the car, the two drove back into the city and made some conversation while driving.

Halting near his apartment block, she looked at Kalvin weirdly.

"No wonder you were in a hurry to get out of here. Isn't this where all the murders had happened recently?"

"Indeed it is, sadly. It is a shame, the police has not found a culprit yet." Kalvin said, with an innocent gaze plastered on his face, knowing full well, who the culprit was.

Should the police actually discover what the culprit was, there would be a lot more trouble on their hands other than just a murder.

Like the appearance of a different dimension.

This made Kalvin think once again. Why exactly had he never heard of such a space before. Someone else should also have discovered the place. The only two options that he could possibly think of, was that either it had been discovered before, but just kept a secret, or that the dimension had only recently become accessible.

If it had been discovered earlier though, Kalvin did not believe that with the powere he had managed to obtain from it,that person would not have conquered the world already. Even without the psychic ability he had obtained from... He did not actually know whether it was from the moth or something the red mist had gotten him, it was clear that with enough time, a person would be able to use the dimension for incredible gain, both economical and physical. While he did not knew whether the physical growth had a limit, or if it could be upgraded with the help of more energy within his consciousness, since he had not discovered any, just the blackmail and money one would be able to obtain from it were enormous.

While Kalvin did not choose this route out of fear of discovery, at least until he was strong enough to properly defend himself, he did not believe, that a sufficiently lucky person would quickly be able to obtain a lot of power there, if they managed to lay low for long enough.

Sneaking into a copy of every place in the world and getting whatever one wanted from there without the thing even disappearing from the real world or even leaving any traces, would easily manage to allow for a lot of possibilities.

He himself even had easily been able to find many important documents inside some of the bank lockers. While he did not bother reading them mostly, he was sure that there was enough stuff there to blackmail millions out of many people.

Noticing that he had gone on quite the tangent inside his mind, he quickly turned to Amelia and thanked her for the drive home.

Parting ways, he went into his apartment for what would probably be the last or maybe one of the last few times and after a quick shower, went to bed. Tonight he would once again work hard.

***

Inside a bank Vault in another world, a figure stepped out of a rip from what seemed to be a much brighter world without the red mist.

That person was naturally Kalvin, who made his wayback to the gym. Not without taking some more gold from the other lockers though. Just a convenience, so that the next time he needed funds, he would not have to run all the way back here again.

While on the way to the gym, he was still using his psychic powers like he had been all this time since he obtained them.

They had grown a lot faster since the energy within his existence space had combined to form that star. In a few weeks he might even be able to carry half his weight with it.

But that did not matter at the moment, for he had to grow stronger first to reach such a point first.

And so he departed to his place of training like he had done so many times before.

***

~Two weeks later~

Like he usually would, he went to bed and went into the land of dreams and from there to the land of nightmares.

A lot had happened over the last month. While going into the nightmare realm had already become routine for him.

Appearing inside a gym like always, he looked at the scenery surrounding him. Weights everywhere,

Scattered among the floor. With a thought, they all lifted into the air rotating around him at a quick pace.

Kalvin looked as if he had become the center of a solar system, a solar system whose planets consisted solely of weights.

While almost out of habit, he wanted to walk towards the gym equipment, he knew that it would not help him as much as it used to anymore, if at all.

His muscles had already become defined to an incredible level. While he did not look exceedingly bulky like some sort of body builder, his muscles were incredibly tough, almost like leather.

They had halted their absorption of energy just yesterday when he finished a training session.

In these weeks, his days had almost wholly been taken up by training. Even his recovery periods had almost completley disappeared.

All of this was thanks to his enhanced energy gathering method. While before he had just been able to fan energy to him , now he had made multiple thin shields that together formed the spinning part of an electric fan. This allowed much more energy to reach him quicker, speeding up the healing process further.

Creating one of these and turning it at a quick speed had been extremely difficult, but he had mostly gotten used to it the motions by now.

Tis technique allowed him to use even more energy, so that his cells could finally be satisfied with the energy.

In fact, they had reached some kind of limit in terms of their energy storage capacity, as they had absorbing energy passively. He had infact reached some kind of bottleneck, exactly what he was waiting for!

It turned out, that Kalvin was a bit of a perfectionist when it dame to strength. Before he would try making another star, which judging by the amount of energy that he currently held, would be quite a ways away, he would first try perfecting his body first.

While normally trying to gain a perfect body was pretty much impossible due to outside influences, with the help of his energies, that constantly fixed him from the inside, it was an achievable task.

His bones were stronger, he had grown a little im height and his muscles too looked to ne the perfect size.

While they were not overly big as to get in the way of his movement, they were strong enough, as to proudly declare himself one of the strongest people the world had to offer.

While in a contest of pure strength he would probably 'only' tie with a world class bodybuilder, he would destroy them in terms of speed and endurance as well as health.

His many days of training had truly payed of. But it took quite some time to get to this point.

With his regeneration speed increasing and him training, like his life depended on it, he had managed to fit about 45 days of training and recovery in the normal world into each night here.

While first it had been difficult maintaining the vigor with which he had started his training, after some time, he almost became numb to the pain of training and started to really enjoy it.

Some people would say he developed slight masochistic tendency's, though such people would be denied by saying, that he just never wanted to feel as helpless and weak again, like he had been in the face of the moth breaking down his barriers.

His martial arts training had been advancing at a rapid pace as well.

His master was already considering him to be a prodigy of martial arts, that had a genuine shot at the world title. This was likely caused by the ease, in which he learned the techniques he was taught. This, he assumed had to do with his body being almost perfect, which meant he had incredible control of his body.

Even his mind was under his control, as he was constantly applying his psychic powers, which apparently sharpened his mind in the process as well.

The combination of an unmatched constitution an incredible level of bodily control and a great mind, lead to him learning the stiff his teacher taught at an never before seem speed.

Was it not for the fact that he was not interested in entering competitions for now, he would probably be able o shake up the martial arts scene. While his technique was still lacking, his body could make up for it, giving him the needed edge over any opponent in a real fight.

Any opponent that was human at least.

One of the problems he had encountered though was a lack of food. While he had often been raiding the nearby supermarket, by now, most of the food had gone bad.

The power as well had finally cut of inside the city. It seemed that without humans maintaining everything, the power grid had at last collapsed.

This had meant that he had to bring loads of food from the outside.

The people in the real world were already wondering what he did with all that food. Never in their lives would they suspect that he simply ate all of it by himself.
