Year 1 ~ {Awakening ~ Son of Glory}

The room they were in was very simple and without furnitures. The walls were painted white and the ground was tiled with reflective tiles. Above, the ceiling was also white. However, there were no sources of ventilation in the room, yet it wasn't stuffy.

Apart from the ball of light in the middle of the room, there was no other source of lightning. The room was simply an enclosed space no one could break into.

Sasuke's eyes were fixed on the glowing ball of in the center of the room. The ball was blue and energy spiral inside it continuously.

Grandpa Xiao walked up to the ball and waited for Sasuke to join him on the platform.

"This is the Awakening crystal. It's blue right now cause it was last used to awaken spiritual power. When it turns red, it awakens soul power" he explained

Sasuke looked more closely at the crystal. The energy inside looked like oil paint inside a glass of water.

The crystal gave off a warm feeling and welcoming aura. Sasuke felt it was energy calling out to him as he stood there.

"Place you right hand on the crystal to awaken your spiritual power and left hand to waken your soul power" Grandpa Xiao instructed.

Sasuke nodded and reached out his right hand to the Awakening crystal.

Immediately his made contact with the crystal, Sasuke felt a new energy enter his body and attack what felt like a wall inside him.

The sounds of the hits could be heard inside him.

Continuously, the invisible energy attacked the wall. Small cracks began to appear on the wall and soon it was like a huge spider web.

After another few attacks, the wall suddenly exploded and the energy rushed it. His body seemed to be dragging in the spiritual energy from the crystal.

Inside his body, Sasuke could see what was known as the spiritual sea. According to the user's guide, the spiritual sea was like sea which contains spiritual power of any individual.

At the start, the spiritual sea was in the size of a small pond and would slowly grow to a stream, a river and then a sea. Beyond the spiritual sea was the spirit ocean but it was very hard to come across someone who had a spirit ocean.

At the moment, Sasuke saw his own spiritual sea was already in its fullest state. Unlike other who awaken with a pound or a stream, Sasuke had awaken with a full sea

What does this mean?

It meant that Sasuke has awakened 1st tier spiritual power.

The crystal glowed brightly forcing Grandpa Xiao to take a few steps.

"This..."

He stared at the glowing crystal with wide eyes. Never in his life has he experience such a scene.

This is the Awakening of full spiritual power. In the three realms, such a phenomenon was not common. Only two in every thousand awakeners, awaken with full spiritual power.

Sasuke didn't know what was going through the old man's head. He simply focused on what was happening inside him.

The spiritual sea in his body continued to absorb the spiritual energy from the crystal.

After a few seconds, the connection was cut off and the spiritual sea inside Sasuke settled and became calm.

Sasuke opened his eyes and saw the crystal had stopped glowing. He silently switch his hand on the crystal.

The Awakening crystal slowly changed color and turned red. This showed that it could now awaken soul power.

Red soul energy sipped into Sasuke's body through his chest and slowly approached his heart.

The soul energy gradually warped around Sasuke's heart. The soul energy got absorbed into his heart and form a small ball of red energy at a corner of his heart.

Slowly, more energy got absorbed by his heart. The process was far slower than with the spiritual energy.

Sasuke felt like a long time had pass when he finally started feeling stuffy in his heart. This meant he had absorb soul energy to the limit.

He could no longer absorb anymore.

Sasuke looked at the ball of energy in his heart. It was currently as big as two chicken eggs.

Sasuke opened his eyes and saw the crystal had stopped glowing.

This explained Grandpa Xiao's current stunned expression.

Sasuke could only sigh in his heart. This female announcer doesn't understand what is meant by keeping a low profile. She was exposing to the whole realm without pity.

Sasuke turned to grandpa Xiao.

"If that's all, I'll like to leave now" he said in a saddened voice

When Grandpa Xiao didn't reply, Sasuke bowed and began leaving the room. His journey down the stairs seemed shorter than when he was climbing up.

When he got to the large door, Sasuke took off his mask and stuffed it into his pocket. The announcement just now exposed who is the zonal leader therefore he can't go out with his facemask on. Sasuke rearranged his hair so his face was fully visible. Like this, he looked completely different from before.

However, before the door opened, he heard Grandpa Xiao's voice throughout the building.

The doors opened and Sasuke was meet with the stare of thousands of people.

Sasuke felt could shivers run down his spine. To be stared at like this...
