Year 1 ~ {A System named Glory}

The Awakening Temple was crowded with thousands of people all staring at Sasuke as he walked out of the building.

The realm announcement just now was too shocking and they couldn't quite belief their ears.

The only person to awaken with full, as in with 100 points, spiritual and soul power.

What kind of concept is this?

If they were to quote the user's guide word for word, this meant that in the future, Sasuke's cultivation speed will be more than 70% faster than anyone else's. This number could very well increase too.

In addition, the amount of skills he could use and the speed at which he activate them would be incredible.

Before any of them could use one skill, he was already using his third or forth.

Sasuke walked to the fountain where he was to meet Alisha, all the while feeling eyes on him and hearing whispers about himself.

He walked a little faster and arrived at the fountain. There, he saw Alisha sitting in a lotus position. She must be familiarizing herself with her system.

He sat next to her and waited for her to come out of her meditation.

Sasuke wondered what his own system would be like. System were unique to each person in the game. No two persons could have exactly the same system just as no two persons have the same destiny.

Each system was designed to meet it's user's needs according to their profession. From what Huruki told him, he would have to pick a profession and test how far he could go with that profession.

It was strongly emphasized in the user's guide that each person should pick only the profession they had high affinity in.

It was rear that someone would have high affinity in two or more different professions but even then, the person should pick the one they have higher affinity in.

If they just pick any random profession, they'll have a hard time in the future.

"Sasuke, you're finally back" Alisha's voice next to him drew him back to reality. "Wow, you look different from before! I didn't know you were this cute without your mask!"

Sasuke turned to her and nodded. It seems she hadn't heard the realm announcement just now else she wouldn't be so calm right now. As for being called cute, he'll just ignore it.

"How was it? What Temple will you be going to?" he said quickly changing the topic from himself.

"Warrior Temple. I knew training for months in the real world won't go to waste" Alisha replied "It's only too bad I won't be able to use a Mech Suit anytime soon"

Alisha got up and dusted herself. She smiled her first full smile. Her whole face brighten up and she suddenly seemed more like a girl.

"This is where I say 'Until we meet again'" she said "The entrance exam for the warrior temple starts in a few hours and the temple is far away. We won't see each other again for a long time"

Sasuke looked up at the talking girl. He didn't realize it was so easy to like someone. Like Huruki, she didn't pressure him into communicating with her.

Their journey here took hours and he didn't speak more than thrice throughout yet she didn't think badly of him and even waited for him to awaken.

Sasuke could only smile as she rambled on with her goodbye speech. Such a character. He wonder if he'd find anyone like her again.

"Anyway, let's meet here again when we reach level 10 of consolidated realm. Don't make me wait for you" Alisha finally ended her speech.

Sasuke stood up

"It's a deal then" he said and they both shook hands.

"Bye now! Don't cause too much trouble!"

Sasuke watched as she began run and soon disappeared for his line of sight. That girl really had a lot of stamina.

Sasuke looked at his surrounding one more time and started walking away. He didn't have any destination in mind. He simply needed a quite space to check out his system.

Out here, he can't even hear himself think.

Putting on his mask and letting his hair pour over his eyes again, Sasuke quickly returned to being an ordinary player in Realm Of Glory.

A figure stood on the cloud and looked down at the disappearing figure of Sasuke.

"Full spiritual and soul power huh? The Norns could be right this time." the figure said "Now to find the others"

The forest just outside Unit 1 was called Enchanted Forest because of how it was.

Enchanted Forest was unlike other forest in the zone filled with magical creatures and plants. The scenery was very beautiful and bright.

Shinning colorful grasses and plants made the forest bright. The tree were hundreds of meters high, covering the sky which appeared to have fluffy looking red clouds, different from the once that could be seen outside the forest.

The animals that could be found in this forest weren't ordinary animal but spiritual beasts and soul beasts. That's what made the forest dangerous.

A little rabbit in this forest could be at rank 3 or above. Even the trees here were not ordinary.

For ordinary people, it was very dangerous to go beyond the forest entrance.

However, Enchanted Forest was the most suitable place for mages to train as it was filled with spiritual and soul energy suitable for cultivating Magic.

Sasuke, after waking for hours found himself at the entrance of the forest. It was quite, except for the songs of birds and crickets.

The air was also very refreshing and he could feel warm soul energy and cold spiritual energy around him.

As long as he didn't go in, it was the perfect place to sit and think. Unlike other parts of the unit, no one else but him was here.

Sasuke found a fallen tree branch close to the entrance of the forest. He checked for bugs before sitting on the ground and leaning his back on the log.

Sasuke sighed. It was nice to finally be off his feet.

After he was comfortable, Sasuke followed Huruki's instructions to call up his system.

A grayish silver screen appeared in his vision. The screen was slightly transparent and was as wide as a laptop screen.

On it, there were some words displayed.

[Initializing System's Interface. This might take a minute]

Sasuke looked at the text. He was not in a hurry and quietly waited for the system to finish loading.

A minute later, the screen in front of him suddenly began glowing violently and exploded. Sasuke covered his eyes to protect them from the bright light.

When he felt the light dim away, he slowly uncovered his eyes.

"Hello"

Sasuke screamed when he same the girl sitting opposite him. He immediately stood up and made some space between them.

The girl stood up too. She tried to stand on her shaking legs for a few seconds before she fell back to the ground.

She looked to be around his age and was wearing a fancy blue dress that stopped above her knee. Her feet was covered with light blue socks and blue heels and her fingers were gloved.

She had her curly brown hair down and a small crown sat her head.

From her appearance, Sasuke could only guess she was someone who is obsessed with barbie movies and princesses.

What was she doing here however?

The girl tried to stand again but her legs still trembled. She managed to walk to the log Sasuke was leaning on and sat on it

"Damn these legs" she cursed, glaring at ber legs.

Sasuke couldn't be more confused than he was at the moment.

"Who are you?" he asked reluctantly.

The girl looked up from her leg and stared him him with her big blue eyes. They looked like crystals and were starry.

The girl smiled at him

"My name is Glory and I'm your assistant" she said

"My assistant?"

The sound of birds singing filled the air, sounding so pleasant that one could fall asleep just listening to it.

Sasuke however, didn't have the chance to relax as he watch the girl named Glory walk around slowly with shaking legs.

"What do you mean you're my assistant?" Sasuke asked after a few seconds of silence.

The girl stop walking around and returned to sit on the log.

"I mean I'm here to assist you. I was created by the Fates to assist you find Courage and Strength" she said

"Are there others like you? Does every system turn into a girl?" Susuke asked with a confused voice.

Glory frown and tapped on her chin twice

"From what I know, no. You're the only one because you awakened with full spiritual and soul power." She explained

"According to the information I was given, there are very few Sons and Daughters of Glory in history. Those who awaken with full spiritual and soul power were like gods among men. However, although this title had many benefits, it had one big draw back. Breaking the limit to energy transfer"

Sasuke listened to her words carefully. He didn't want to misunderstand anything since it only concerned him.

"What is the limit of energy transfer?" he asked

"The human body can absorb and send out spiritual energy at will. In order not to absorb or send out too much, there is a seal limit. However, for people like you, it is easy to overlook this limit and absorb or send out more energy than the body should be able to contain or release.

In situations like that, the seal limit is broken and this will lead to the body exploding or drying up due to absorbing or releasing too much energy.

Sasuke didn't understand everything completely but he now had a basic understanding of why she was here and also how much importance was place on the title 'Son of Glory'.

He couldn't understand why he had to be the one to awaken with such a title. All he wanted in this game was to make money after all.

First he was titled Zonal Leader and now the Son of Glory. In he future, won't all these titles cause trouble for him?

Sasuke was worried but one thing still calmed him down.

Realm of Glory is just a game. If things get too difficult, he'd just delete his account and end it all.

His problems in the real world was already enough. He didn't want to add an in-game responsibility to it.

He won't worry too much about it

"Glory, show me my status then" he instructed. He still has to quickly pick a profession and head to the temple.
