On his sitting posture, Yo-Han slept, giving his laps as a pillow for Dan-bi throughout the night and she was as still as a lake and never twitching ones. She felt so relaxed sleeping like this, perhaps sleeping beside him was what made tonight's sleep better than ever.

The morning sun found its ways into the room, piercing through the curtains beam by beam. The rays of light scourges Dan-bi's eyes as she opened her eyes for the first time. She immediately sealed her eyelids, guiding her face with her arm to block off the light and slowly peek at regular intervals to get her eyes used to the light.

"You are awake." Yo-Han's voice rang from behind her which startled her. Not until then did she realized that she wasn't alone in the room and this wasn't her hotel room.

She jumped off the bed to her feet in surprise when she saw the image of Yo-han sitting where the pillow was supposed to be. "What are you doing here?, I mean why am I here?" She asked as she hugged herself shyly and hid her face from him. Dan-Bi flashed back to the night before and immediately remember the sounds of guns and how he appeared, lifting her in his arms in bridal style and perhaps brought her to this place. Her cheeks had a flush of pink at that moment when she thought of how he carried her and that was why she hid her face.

Where her timidity came from, Yo-han didn't understand, she was never like this before him, he just didn't know the reason for her sudden shyness.

"Where am I?" She demanded but received no response from Yo-Han. He just stood up and walked towards her, watching as she retreats to the wall behind her.

"Why are you closing in on me?, Stay back" She said as she moved her steps backwards repeatedly while he kept closing in on her. She had never been in the same room with a guy alone and the fact that Yo-han didn't touch her throughout the night was a great miracle to her. She had heard a lot about people who met themselves in her shoes but something happened during the night, some even lost their virginity, only a few had trustworthy partners. Seeing Yo-han closing in on her accelerated the rate of her heartbeat, and fear built up in her. Her backs finally hit the wallpaper covering the thin wall. She expected him to tease her and behave like some male lead in movies and novels now that her back is against the wall, but instead he stopped at a moderately close distance and placed his hands on her forehead to check her temperature and to see if her fever is gone.

"Your temperature suddenly rose in the middle of the night, I was just checking to see if you are okay now and it's seems you are." She relaxed and releases an amount of air that she didn't know she was concealing in her lungs. She suddenly felt embarrassed for thinking Yo-han was some kind of perverted guy and she was scared he would be the one thinking that she has a dirty mind.

"Dan-Bi, what did you think I wanted to do?" Yo-han asked to tease her, he knew this would make her guilty and that was perfect, he just wanted to make her realise that he isn't pervy.

"Nothing, why did you not answer my questions?, Where am I?" She asked again to weave his question because she knew that he had her, but she won't show her guilt to him.

"My home, don't worry it's not my room. Now that I answered your question, answer mine."

"Okay, why did you not take me to my hotel room and why are you here?"

"Because I can't leave you without security, and what's wrong with bringing you here? We are ...we are friends ain't we?" Yo-han stopped blurting out that they are meant to be together when he remembered what had happened between them. His playful tone switch to a serious questioning one as he spoke the next words, even his face saddened a bit and his words were bitter.

"Forget it, I will go and prepare breakfast, just stay here and clean up." He left her in the room after saying this.

Dan-Bi sat back down on the bed beside the spot where the signs of him sitting was still visible. She felt sad for him but she had made her decision, she could only pray that he finally comes to his senses. If ignoring him and staying faraway awakened something in him back then, then she could only wish that he changes his mind if she stays away from him now. 'You don't miss what you have until it's gone' they say.

She went to clean herself up as Yo-han told her to. She was done in no time and returned to the room. Hunger overwhelmed her and her previous strength vanished, she finally realized that she hadn't eaten for more than 24hours. She stood and walked to the door with her remaining strength.

Yo-han returned to his room to quickly brush his teeth before heading to the kitchen to prepare her breakfast. The moment Yo-han stepped out of his room, he met Min Ju-Eun in the hallway, dressed in her pajamas, walking towards his room. She wasn't so angry as he expected but she wasn't smiling either.

She didn't bother to greet or respond his greetings, she just started lashing out questions at him. "Where did you go last night and why were you so late I waited till midnight is this how late you come home, and what's that about you meeting the Choi family? What ... Why are you not answering my questions?." She said when she noticed him walking away and towards the living room, she immediately followed after him.

"Because you have not given me the chance to do so" he replied.

"Then get to it" she crossed her arms and rested her back on a pillar, waiting for him to talk.

"I went to the KimJin annual anniversary gala."

"Before that!"

"I attend to business somewhere in the city"

"You mean at the Choi family home?, Yo-han, I told you my stance on this before, I don't want her, have you forgotten what that family did to you?, Yet you risked your life going to get her, what if the Kim family did get you killed?" She questioned him seriously and she walked to him and stood there, right in front of him.

Surprised that she knew about Dan-bi's abduction, something that the public knew nothing about, it was just something between the Choi and Kim families he didn't expect his mom to know, perhaps she is keeping tabs on him and getting information about everything he does. "Mom who told you everything, is Seuk-Chin not done fishing you information?, "

"Don't blame the guy, your safety is his priority, he has to inform me whenever you take foolish steps like walking into the lions den fearlessly. Now tell me why you still haven't forgotten about her? I..." Her words were interrupted by Chang-min's who walked into the living room.

"Breakfast is readyyyy,....Oh, sorry, I will just..." he sang but when he realized what was going on in the living room, he slowly headed back to the kitchen.

"Thanks for preparing breakfast Chang-min." Yo-han thanked him as he walked away.

"I didn't do it for you, I did it for sister in-law" Chang-min replied when he was just at the kitchens threshold.

"Sister in-law? Did you bring her here?" Min Ju-Eun asked and and gave Yo-han a despised look which he replicated to Chang-min who immediately faded to the background as if he was never there.

"Yo-han tell me why she is here?." She said, pointing at the way to Yo-Han's room not knowing that she wasn't just pointing to the door but to a weak looking lady that stood in the direction.

"Uhm, am sorry, I will leave if I am not welcomed here." Dan-Bi said and bowed to Min Ju-Eun before turning to walk to the kitchen door which she thought was the main exit.

As she walked, Yo-han noticed her fatigue and how tired she is, if she is allowed to leave, she would surely collapse on the way. He walked up to her and grabbed her wrist, stopping her from continuing on her pathway. "Who said you are not welcome, wherever I call home is home to you."

He pulled her to the dining room, leaving Min Ju-Eun alone in the living room. " I could tell that you are hungry since you headed for the kitchen, the breakfast is here in the dining room instead."

"Huh?..," was all Dan-bi said before she lowered her head in embarrassment. She was angry when the woman, probably Yo-Han's mother said she was not welcomed and she wanted to walk out and leave immediately, who knew she headed for the kitchens door instead.

He sat her down and started putting food in her plate. "Chang-min prepared this for you, he said thank Sister in-law for me." Yo-han said and he started eating. He was passing a message to her, telling her that he would not let her go, she can keep dreaming of leaving him until she comes to her right senses. He still will not let her go. Just like she advised, he will catch his love, infact he will never even give her the chance to run.

'Sister in-law? What is he trying to say.' Dan-bi thought and she felt weirdness creeping between them before she knew it because of his words and the silence that followed.

To think it was weird was to early, not until Min Ju-Eun join them to eat did she know what weirdness truly means plus she became very nervous.

"I will take you to the Choi family home after the meal. I learnt that you haven't gone back since you returned." He said not minding his mother's presence. Dan-Bi wanted to tell him not to but she was too shy to talk in front of Min Ju-Eun.

Min Ju-Eun eyed her son angrily, she wanted to smack some sense into him because it was as if he had forgotten that he is dining with his enemy. Because Dan-Bi is a Choi, she is automatically one of them, that was what Min Ju-Eun made Yo-han believe.
