His so called Father.

"After your mum and I dated for almost two years, I prepared to propose to her and make her the mother of my children, but when I introduced her to my father, he rejected her. He said that he already made a promise to the Baek family right from when I was in the womb that he would join the two families by marriage. He persuaded me severally to marry Baek Nana, the woman I call my wife now. But I refused." Kim Hyun-Jun continued the story about Min Ju-Eun and him. He sounded a bit disgusted when he mentioned the word wife.

"Yo-han" Min Ju-Eun gained his attention and continued her part of the story. " I faced utter rejection from the Old Master Kim but Old madam Kim was really okay with me, even Park Mit-Eum, who is the illegitimate son bore by Old madam Kim to another man accepted me with open arms. The only reason why I never became the Kim daughter in-law is because of Old Master Kim."

"During Old Master Kim's 60th birthday, I wasn't invited and I didn't mind but very early the next morning, I received a call from Old Master Kim asking me to come to the family Mansion to see him immediately. I wasn't surprised when old Master Kim took the crying me to his study and offered me money so that I will leave the country but I rejected the money and left the country on my own accord."

I wanted to return to the Kim family home but I couldn't when I got a hint through Mit-Eum who stayed in touch in one of our calls that your father had being going for antenatal with the other woman and that they would get their marriage certificate in few days."

And he stayed majorly to keep my company until I gave birth to you. After birth he couldn't bare to leave so he stayed until you grew to a certain age. He loved you so much because he regarded you as his only true nephew and he took the role of you father but he was never my husband, though he was a friend closer than a friend we never crossed the line."

"Is that the truth?, he told me he would marry you and I was totally against it but I couldn't do a thing about it because, I was restrained by Father to face my own family. He threatened to give KimJin to Mit-Eum if I don't mind my business. I was really threatened I never wanted Mit-Eum to be the successor even though he was the first born, but he wasn't a Kim. I loathed him for this reason." Kim Hyun-Jun chipped in.

"Let me finish my story before you say yours... Mit-Eum never crossed that line with me and after some years, I felt like he was devoting all his time to nurture another man's seed and he had no plan of his own, I wasn't comfortable with this so I helped him sort out his feelings and he finally found someone who he truly loved, it was shortly after he met her that he started receiving life threats from his own half-brother, and soon after he died. His death had a huge effect on me because I couldn't believe it, I almost had a mental disorder when I discovered that my true love had transitioned into a murderer, since then, I never wanted to meet you again and so I have cut all connections with you so far. I am only saying this to explain to my son, it doesn't mean that you have the right to claim him as yours. Yeah, biologically, he is your son, but in reality he is Park Mit-Eum's first son... Do you even know that your half-brother has a son in the Choi family?." She berated him and got angry at him as she got to the conclusion of her speech.

Digging up all those past memories made her extremely angry at Kim Hyun-Jun.

Yo-han just sat like a statue and watched in disbelief what was happening as if it was a melodrama. He had since lost himself in his thoughts.

His thoughts spun wide as he couldn't belief the fact that the man he hates so much ended up being his biological father. How was he supposed to belief that his father would appear after 23years. It doesn't even matter because in his heart, Mit-Eum would always be his father. He wouldn't let anyone fill that space no matter what.

He was even more angry at this despicable man in front of him who was so heartless enough to kill his own sibling. Would it be wrong if Yo-han strangled the man to death?.

"What could my father had done to offend you so much that made you take his life." Yo-han shouted as he dashed forward and pounced on Kim Hyun-Jun, he directed his to hands to Kim Hyun-Jun's neck and started suffocating the middle aged man.

Min Ju-Eun instinctively yelled at Yo-han and immediately ruched forward to stop him. "What the hell are you doing?." She shouted at Yo-han after struggling so much to get him off Kim Hyun-Jun. "You want to kill him?, He is your father Yo-Han, don't become a murderer because of him. You will live your entire life regretting this." She shouted at him.

Cough Cough, were the sounds Kim Hyun-Jun expelled. He grabbed his chest as he tried to gasp for breath but he couldn't. He fumbled through his pocket to search for something but he didn't find what he was looking for. When Min Ju-Eun saw this, terror filled her to the brim and without any thought, she rummaged through Yo-Han's pockets and fished out his inhalers.

Her actions startled Yo-han and he didn't understand what she was doing until he saw her using his inhaler for the man, his so called Father.
