Cold shoulder.

He had dinner with the Choi family except for Dan-bi who didn't come for dinner. She locked herself in her room and decided not to step out until he leaves.

Yo-han stayed in the guest room overnight but he couldn't sleep. Even with the amount of stress he had the whole day, and his flight to and from Country J which naturally should have exhausted him, he couldn't bear to sleep because his mind was clouded with the unveiled bitter truths.

He tried so much to sleep but when he failed after several attempts, he stood up from the bed and decided to get a drink. He gazed down on the disheveled bedsheet the moment he stood up and without waiting one more second, he started to fix it since he wasn't planning to sleep anymore even though it's just a little bit past midnight.

He strode lazily out of the guestroom and headed for the dinning room to get water and as he got to an interception at the hallway, a figure appeared from the other side of the hallway, walking towards the staircase that was at the midpoint of their displacements. After taking a few steps, they met at the edge of the staircase and because the lights where off at both sides of the hallway and only the staircase was lit, the two figures didn't see each other's faces before they met at the stairs.

Dan-Bi yawned and rubbed her stomach as she stood at the edge of the stairs, she was so famished that she hardly manage to get up from her bed after dozing off with an empty stomach. She jerked backwards when she saw Yo-Han's face and she immediately turned around to return into the dark hallway but Yo-han was fast enough to grab her hands which halted her movement.

He glanced at her for a while before breaking the awkward silence. " You are hungry, go and eat, I can hold my thirst for long." He said and turned around to walk back instead.

"Why are you still here?, I won't eat until you leave, you know that don't you?" She said and also turned to walk away. She wasn't expecting a reply from him because the question is rhetorical so she walked away.

Yo-han sighed helplessly before he turned to face her exiting rearview, he pursed his lips before finally finding some random words. " Dan-Bi, every one already accepted me, why won't you?"

She stopped in her tracks and did not turn around before she said her piece. "You should know better how difficult it is to forgive, don't expect my forgiveness... Isn't that one of your greatest abilities?"

"I know, I just can't go back to my house even if I wanted to, I am only taking refuge here for today. I will leave first thing tomorrow morning. But please, don't starve yourself." He said and walked back to the guest room.

He understood her too well and he knew he should have known better than to ask her why. It's all clear that he is reaping what he had sown. See how fast the table had turned.

It used to be him who wouldn't forgive anyone as long as they're guilty. Now he is the one with almost no hope of grace. Now he is getting the cold shoulder because he remained obstinate. Even though he made himself clear that he still hasn't forgiven the old man, he made himself clear, but he should have at least tried to forgive the man for loves sake.

It hurted the poor lady that an outsider did what Yo-han couldn't do, which his standing on the side of her father's innocence. Well it's clear now that the man is truly innocence.

In Dan-bi's eyes, he most have lost all the respect she had for him. She no longer submitted herself like she always did and now, she had decided to cut him off.

He went back to his room and he could barely close his eyelids not to talk of sleeping because his mind was full of regrets for his actions. He got up very early and payed his early greetings to Madam Choi who was the only one awake at the time and left.

He went straight to the office with a super cold expression and he didn't even pay attention to anyone. The moment he entered his office, he didn't step out, not even during lunch. He didn't even ask for his coffee and neither did he say a word to Ms Bae who come in frequently to pass his schedule and documents that are awaiting his signature to him. He signed everyone of them and did not say a word.

When it was time for a business meeting with the Bu group, he left his office five minutes later which is rare and Mrs Bae had waited outside his office, trying hard to summon every last bit of courage in her to walk into his office but she failed so she remained outside his door.

She scurried back to her desk and immediately picked the folders that will be needed for the meeting. " CEO Park. We should be heading to the meeting venue at Bu Groups Headquarters."

He only nodded and led the way out of the office to his private elevator. They awaited the arrival of the elevator which seems to be conveying a passenger. The only people who use this elevator is Na-Gil, Ms Bae and him. So he knew that it's Na-Gil who is on his way up.

Truthfully, when the elevator arrived, it was Na-Gil. He didn't bother to step out of the elevator since the man he came to see would be boarding the elevator. The three of them took the elevator to the last floor and the moment they stepped out, there was an unusual seriousness in the atmosphere. Everyone was working diligently.

It's been a while since Yo-Han appeared to work in his cold majestic aura which somehow reminded him of Kim Hyun-Jun's identical aura. He didn't understand why he never had a guess or ever sensed the similarities between Kim Hyun-Jun and him. He must have been blinded by revenge that he didn't even realize that they had anything in common. Unlike Kim Hyun-Jun, the first time he saw Choi Dae-Jung, blood immediately spoke for itself.

The sight of Yo-han at work today surprised all the staffs in a way that made everyone of them tread gently for fear of losing their jobs just by making a slight mistake. The atmosphere today was exactly how Yo-han had always wanted his company to be. He always wanted quietness, seriously and diligence and though it's clear that everyone's seriousness is mere eyeservice due to his countenance today, he didn't care one bit as his mind was somewhere else totally.

Yo-han instructed Ms Bae to take the general elevator while he and Na-Gil board the private elevator so he could explain to Na-Gil what happened after he returned from Country J, during their ride. He just needed advise from Na-Gil, this time around as a brother not as an aide.

"You found out that the man you despise so much is your father, you forgave your father in-law and got forgiven but you got dumped by your girlfriend in return. What a tragedy. What is yesterday's date, January 22nd?, the day you should watch out for in future." Na-Gil joked but it made Yo-han more angry than he already was.

"Just tell me what to do, its all because I mentioned your name after all, it's your new task to help me get her back." Yo-han replied after glaring at Na-Gil for his untimely joke. They walked into his office and he walked straight to his seat and he glanced at the table before he sat.

"Table, Table." He thought.

The table had really turned, Dan-Bi used to be the one trying to make things right but now it's his turn and he really wants to mend everything.

"Young Master Kim, how am I to know how to win a lady's heart?, Weren't you the one who always asked me to find love?" Na-Gil said and chuckled a bit. "Man, we are both single again." He said and finally laughed his ass out.

"Get out!!!" Yo-han hollered at him and flung a baseball he got from his drawer at Na-Gil but the latter was quick to escape making the ball bounce off the door.

"I don't need you since you are useless anyway."
