Reaching Out

A boy left all alone in the world after being abandoned by his mother in a poor clan that treated him harshly because he started showing signs of being different from other kids and the people around him. With him being ostracized more and more he became less and less of the cheerful young kid he use to be until eventually turning discreet and mute around others in hopes that they would stop being scared of him. Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? The Devil's Marks

Unfortunately for Keltal his clan wasn't full of the greatest type of people and well that didn't include all of them there was still a good portion of them that were a thorn in his side. Whether it be because he couldn't find any evidence to prove his claims or the very few he did find evidence for had already been dealt with thankfully. It sickened him to see such behaviour but plenty of them were still left to do whatever they wanted and left him greatly frustrated at the thought. "Let's hope she can make my life easier. If we all survive that is..." Thinking that he watched her hand come down once again.

However different from last time Althea didn't aim for the trainer's crotch but instead went for his arms and before anyone could even take a breath the man had lost both his arms. Suffering the same fate as the man before she didn't kill him and left him there without saying anything as she casually walked up to the next person in line. This time no one dared to make a move to help either of them as they all starting sweating hoping they wouldn't be in the same position as the last two after she visited them. Worse of all Althea kept that same eerie smile on her face the entire time and never showed any other emotion well doing such things. Slowly she was becoming their worst nightmare.

They watched on as she walked up to another woman in the line who was another instructor in the clan that was widely respected by all the people there. She was a slightly attractive woman who taught the children and some of the other teen's and while she was an attractive woman she wasn't the most attractive woman out there either. To everyone especially some of her male admirers amongst them she was a kind and gentle woman who was kind to anyone. No one there wanted to see any harm done to her but none could make a sound even if they wanted to. They could only watch as Althea did the same thing as before and shut her eyes once again for a second.

Opening her eyes they watched as Althea lifted her hand again but this time she did something slightly different. Instead of lifting it up completely she leveled it with the womens face. Everyone there breathed sighs of relief thinking Althea wasn't going to do anything to the women in front of her. Keltal had been watching the whole time very closely which was why he was the only one who didn't have the same thoughts as everyone else there. He watched her smile grow slightly more vicious and cruel then the last two and while it was feint it was enough for him to catch it. Giving up any hope he unclenched his fist in defeat. If she was even willing to attack someone so nice then she would attack any of them regardless.

with their breaths of relief just escaping they watched as their small flame of hope was crushed in a second. Althea brought her hand up to the woman's face as she trailed her fingertips all around it but she didn't do it in a light gentle or loving manner at all. In fact each time her nails travelled somewhere they scraped her skin as blood slowly dripped and left a trail in her wake. After that she moved on to other parts of her body without any care for anyone around them as she ripped parts of her clothes and exposed some of the skin of the poor women. After leaving hundreds and hundreds of scars Althea finally stopped and left her alone. The woman who was crying slowly got up and was able to move and run away simply because of all the shame running through her at the moment.

After that Althea went onto a rougher looking man that quite a few people amongst the clan didn't like as she stopped and closed her eyes. Some of them were happy with such a sight but they were soon shocked. Althea opened her eyes but unlike the time before she didn't even bring up her hand and moved on to the next. Shocked at the difference the people there wondered why he received such different treatment. The one least surprised though was probably the man she had been in front of. Thoughts swirled through their mind as Althea moved on.

After that the same process repeated for everyone. Some received massive injuries that involved loss of limbs while others were cripped as well as some that even died. Thankfully though about half of them or more didn't have anything happen to them. But the most confused of them all was Keltal. For the most part Althea targeted and dealt with people who were thorns in his side but she also included quite a bit of people who didn't do anything to his knowledge and were quite kind people. But past that all he was the happiest that his family didn't get hurt and with that she had finally finished dealing with all a hundred or so of them.

"Those of you alive can leave."

Althea had finally turned back to normal as her emotions finally calmed down but truthfully she had mostly calmed down after her little outburst. But she wanted to vent a little seeing as how she was still a little angry and was given the perfect opportunity to do what she wanted. Everyone that could walk or move started to leave thankful this calamity was over while the other uninjuried grabbed the people who couldn't and started to head towards the doctor with them leaving only Keltal and Althea once again.

"Are you happy?"

"Very much so. In fact you can even say I did you a favour."

"A favour? You crippled and killed almost half of our manpower what's to be thankful about that."

"Hmmmm..I guess your right. But it was fun."

Scowling he didn't know how to deal with this woman even after all these years.

"Now that you've had your fun have you should remember your important issue of finding the boy?"

"Haha, I haven't forgotten. Though I will be using you to help find him as well."

"Us? how can we help."

His bad mood was still there but he knew she was in control of this situation and with all she had already done he could imagine she'd certainly enjoy doing worse without a second thought. Taking a positive spin on it he thought of all the assholes she had dealt with for him as a way to improve his mood otherwise he might have already lashed out at her. But that was simply suicide.

"You let him go. So you can find him. If not I'll be back for more..punishment.I'll of course also be looking for him on my own but I'll never deny free help"

The suggestive way she said that made him think she wasn't going to be so nice that next time she came back. "If you can even call that nice." But the thought that maybe his family would be next made his anger soar but just as quickly deflate but before he could reply anymore he finally heard a set of footsteps approaching.

"So she finally showed herself. What a patient little girl."

Hearing that he wondered who it was and what she was talking about as a voice shouted in his ears from behind him.

"Let me help."

Althea laughed to herself as she finally spotted the girl who had been spying on her this whole time revealing herself.

"And If I say no?"

Xilo will be returning soon. It's just these events are important as well so sorry if that's frustrated anyone. That's just how it is and his point of view will pick up again..with lots of surprises mind you. c:
