Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. Not A Lot Of Energy

Walking through the Merchants District Xilo checked every corner he could looking for people. "Relia seems tired." He had noticed her stumbling around a bit when they were walking. Speaking up he talked about it with her as they walked. Pausing at Xilo's question Relia felt a spike of nerves, she remained quiet about it though. Unable to get an answer out of her, Xilo sighed as he stopped and faced her directly. Putting his hands on her shoulder he crouched down to meet her level as he asked once again.

"Now I know for sure something is up, wha-"

Stopping, Xilo felt a few unknown presences coming towards them. Normally he would have left it alone and just assumed it was normal people however he couldn't this time. They were moving too fast to just be normal people, along with the slight sense of danger he felt. Whispering in Relia's ear, he told her to get back as he pushed her behind her. She stopped him though, leaving him no choice. He didn't mind fighting beside her but he didn't really know about her current condition too much. "She knows her body better than me though it seems to be more of those people from yesterday" A few figures appeared in the distance as Xilo pulled out his Astral Dagger. Within seconds six figures appeared on top of them that were all around the Eighth Stage from his guess.

"A little too much for me alone."

Seeing Relia out of the corner of his eye, Xilo debaited something in his head. It was something he hadn't used since his time with Seli however it may be the time he had to use it. "No, no it can wait." Holding himself back from doing something stupid, he felt an attack coming straight for him. Jumping to the side he quickly pushed Relia as well right before a wind blade whirled right past them and slammed into a wall shattering it. "So many silent attackers!" Feeling his blood speed up Xilo looked as six people charged them at once. Creating multiple daggers from ice he grabbed them before chucking them at each member.

Piercing through the air only a couple hit as Xilo defended against the first man. Knocking the sword down, he quickly created another dagger in his hand as he twirled it around before stabbing the man's arm. With a grunt of pain the man kicked Xilo backwards off of him as another man behind him rushed forward. "Not enough." Against people three levels higher than him he was struggling especially with three of them attacking. The other three were going after Relia, already leaving both of them to fight on their own. A blade slammed down right in front of him just shy of cutting him into two pieces.

"Close one."

Going around the sword Xilo stepped to the side as he slammed the man holding it to the side. "Nothing." The man was as solid as a rock even after using all that force. Without any time to try again the third man came flying at him with a flaming greatsword. "Doesn't he care for his friend!?" The other one was still behind him but this man still charged full force at him. Xilo was a little surprised by it, however it was good for him. If he got lucky maybe they would just end up killing each other. "If only." Stepping back out of the way, the man's sword quickly changed paths as it sliced at Xilo's chest.

"Fast!"

Most people wouldn't be able to redirect that much weight so easily but this man did it with such ease. "If that was me, I would have killed the dude." He could imagine the failure he would experience if he tried to replicate that with Icebreaker. Panicking, Xilo quickly created an ice Shield as he held it up and blocked it. Feeling it shatter nearly instantly Xilo flew backwards into a nearby wall as the sword slammed into him. In a heartbeat another Wind Blade came his way before he could even react to the first attack. Groaning Xilo his bones cry out in pain as quite a few cuts opened up on his body.

"They really aren't playing around."

A layer of water appeared in front of Relia as she blocked an attack. Creating some wind she sped up her movements while slowing theirs down as best she could. It wasn't much but it was giving her enough of an edge to at least dodge. "I'm not in the mood for this." Being attacked inside her mind and physically was a very unpleasant experience. No pain in the world could compare to the years of torture she suffed before. Taking another attack head on, she felt her arm start to bleed rapidly but she ignored it with ease. Grabbing the hand of her attacker she crushed the bones in his hand. "I'm not weak." Yelling that at the voices in her head she completely broke the man's hand as she yanked the blade out of her arm.

With a swirl of her staff the water she used to shield herself changed into a wall of spikes as it attacked back. In no time at all it surrounded the man and wrapped around him, trapping him in a bubble as it pierced his skin. Hearing his screams she pushed them out of her mind. "Relia slow down." Ignoring Azalu's voice, the other voices overpowered it as multiple Wind blades appeared in the air around her. Converging them on the man she tried to cut in her half she did the same back as they all sliced him apart. Blood gushed from his entire body as he fell to the ground barely moving. She was left with only one more person. "I. Said. Slow. Down." Like a storm she felt her head exploding as her thoughts left her mind causing her to pass out. Stumbling for a second Azalu quickly took over as she breathed heavily.

"Haa...You've gotten stronger, Relia but you still have no stamina."

Fighting like she was before had heavily drained her energy. "She must have been feeling frustrated after Xilo tried to protect her again." Xilo had always seen Relia as the weakest one in their group but he was wrong. She was just scared and had a small amount of power. Long ago when she was being tortured that man destroyed over half of her core where her energy gathered. It wasn't enough to break it but it caused a lot of other problems. Looking at the last man in front of her Azalu sighed as she tried to figure out how to fight him now. "There's also that one." Making her water cage disappear to conserve energy she now had two people to fight. "He's weakened at least." Stretching her body she looked to see how Xilo was doing.

"Maybe he can help...ehhh, maybe not."

Seeing Xilo struggling on his own as well Azalu and him were both in a tough position.

Enjoy.
