Reaching Out

A boy left all alone in the world after being abandoned by his mother in a poor clan that treated him harshly because he started showing signs of being different from other kids and the people around him. Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? Emotions Running Amok

Xelfia who had been listening from the side while watching over them felt shocked at first until a second later the words registered in her mind properly and she felt a sharp pain run through her head with her chest feeling heavy. In fact she even had a slight impulse of hatred towards this unknown person that she had never met or seen in her life but it quickly disappeared as she was able to calm herself down slightly. She knew a little about the term love from all the people she had seen in the forest but she had never associated the term towards people before or knew what it exactly meant but now that she had heard the term used towards people she was even further confused about it. So besides being a little confused about the situation she didn't know what to do exactly herself. "I guess I can look it up in the library later maybe or ask Xilo?" Since she didn't have many options and now being not the best time she left it for later and continued to watch over them.

Regretfully though after the girl had crashed into Xilo a small crowd started to appear around them to see what was happening but thankfully Xelfia's strength kept most of them at bay or who knows how much worse it could have gotten. The whole time that was going on Xilo was standing there lost in thoughts with the girl who had just said the words he had hoped to hear some day but besides feeling stupefied by such a thing and a little taken aback he didn't really know how to react to the situation he was in now especially considering the way she acted before. He he wanted to help her but now that notion was completely blown out the window. All he could do was stare into space.

Meanwhile the girl herself cradled in Xilo's arms had her own thoughts on the matter. She was walking down the streets on her way home because it was getting late and she was forced to leave the Selturn Zone for the day and stop her training. While she herself never really cared for the Astral Keeper's Path her grandmother and grandfather had forced it onto her since she was a kid. Ever since losing her parents as a young girl to a bandit attack she had lived with and been taking care off by them. So unfortunately as much as she would have liked she still treaded down the path they wanted for her with reluctance and some displeasure. While she was displeased with such things it wasn't all bad either especially when she had found the silver haired guy that looked a little younger than her in the distance while walking home.

If she had never trained and gotten to the Transformation Stage she might have never been able to have as good of eyesight as she did and might have ended up never seeing him in the end potentially. It was all the more true and important because the second she had seen him she felt time had completely stopped for her while her heart pumped viciously and her blood pressure spiked through the roof. She had completely fallen in love with his looks at first sight and who could blame her the guy was stupidly handsome and his cold features did nothing to scare her away they only increased the fondness she had for him more. She was so tunnel visioned in her own world that she didn't even see the woman standing closely next to him. Instead after feeling her heart and mind settle down and slightly tearing her eyes off him after struggling for a couple seconds she thought of an idea she had seen work and tested before.

She was going to barrel straight into him and act meek to catch him off guard then go in for her attack. The times she had seen it in action before surprisingly worked more than they should of really. But she associated that with guy's being blinded by women's looks. She had tried to do this a couple times before for petty things with men she had zero interest in and each time she had gotten what she wanted and she wasn't even as intimate with them as she was going to do now. "Hahaha, Finally someone worthy of me. No one else could fit together so well with me." She was just simply that arrogant so you could imagine the shock she received when she heard the reply to her confession.

"I don't even know you, so get off me."

An icy tone filled with neither joy nor sadness just a plain monotone voice that made shivers run down her back. But instead of feeling afraid and turned off by his voice she felt even more attracted instead to the point where she ignored Xilo's reply and inserted his voice in her fantasies instead. "Ahhhh...So hot...." Her imagination and fantasies were running wild while her face slightly flushed as a pant escaped her throat. From imagining all the sweet nothings he'd whisper in her ears to the voice of him squirming in pleasure under her body she was absolutely livid. Unfortunately for her she was interrupted and greatly disappointed the next second when she realized she had left the man's lap. She was angry and upset at whoever would do such a thing and ruin the moment they had going on until she turned around to see one of the most frightening smiles of her life plastered all over the face of the person who was currently holding her now. She wasn't even a little bit scared of Xilo before maybe because she was blinded by love but the smile in her vision now scared the daylights out of her.

But mustering up her courage she bravely chose the stupidest option she could of at the moment.

"Who the hell are you? Can't you see you're interrupting us.."

While she didn't care who the person really was and even while still being scared of her she still wasn't going to let someone interrupt her happy time without throwing a couple of insults and punches around if she had to. But hearing that Xelfia who was currently holding her couldn't stop herself from getting even more upset at this random women who was interrupting their day.
