Reaching Out

A boy left all alone in the world after being abandoned by his mother in a poor clan that treated him harshly because he started showing signs of being different from other kids and the people around him. With him being ostracized more and more he became less and less of the cheerful young kid he use to be until eventually turning discreet and mute around others in hopes that they would stop being scared of him. Though that plan never worked out for him and, in the end he was left to strive on his own as best as he could in the environment he was left in. He explored the towns library and any books he could find in his Clan even if they were useless. Years on years of doing such things eventually led him into stumbling across a book that would help push him towards the thing he wanted the most. "The Basic Guide To The Astral Path" This book may not of been special to anyone in the long run but, it was to him because, it was his new beginning. With this new path available to him would he be able to push through all the obstacles and hardships waiting for him or in the end will he stumble and fall? Crazy Plan

Checking around she made sure no one heard her as she breathed a sigh of relief. "You shouldn't scare me like that...jeez, what are you even doing here?" "I figured you needed someone to talk to that's all." Hearing the tone of the woman's voice the girl rolled her eyes as she focused herself. "What you mean to say is that you were bored." "Kinda." Feeling a little exasperated she brushed her hair back ignoring the pain in her arms as she decided to indulge in her whims. "Think She'll win?" "Hmm.....no." Hearing that she fell silent for a second feeling a little sad. "Are you sure?" "Yes I am, From what I can see she has no way to win. Hell her arm is barely hanging in there at this rate."

"What do you mean?" Seeing no injury on Tearia's arm she didn't quite understand what she was talking about. "To put it simply she's essentially just numbed the pain temporarily but after that it'll be worse." "By why did that happen?" "Probably from her last match you saw. I can sense traces of ice still there." Hearing that anger rose to her core as she fiercely turned towards the direction of the man who Tearia fought last and saw him resting on the platform beside a woman called Hazel. "Ahhh...I forgot how you can be maybe I shouldn't have told you..." "If you didn't tell me I would be more upset." "Well now you know so what do you want to do, it's not like you can do anything yourself." "I'll need your help...but for now I'll leave it alone. Stifling her anger she gave up for now.

Trying to keep her feet planted firmly Tearia continued moving forwards as she truly experienced first hand how hard this was. "I knew he was going to be tough and a bit unique but dammit." Most earth users stayed on the defensive and were never aggressive that's why she thought his style was truly different from the rest or at least out of the norm. At this point she was in a mini storm of rocks and unstable ground with nothing she could do. "I could try attacking with my Lightning but I never practiced that nor do I think it'll affect him in the slightest." She was losing hope though at this point while getting a little desperate.

Each step more boulders came at her while the ground got worse. It was already impressive she made it this far with no preparation but eventually she wouldn't be able to dodge. Thankfully the only reason she hadn't lost yet was seemingly Felix's inability to throw more than a couple stones at her at once.

"Impressive."

Hearing a voice for the first time since the match started she looked at Felix as she felt the lack of mockery in his voice.

"Thanks, not to bad yourself."

"I do try to please."

"Ha."

Laughing at least she could take some solace that her opponent was a nice person. At the very minimum she was okay with losing to someone like that. "I...give.." There was nothing she could think of still so she decided to throw caution out as she stopped moving to get a decent starting point before she inhaled deeply sending Astral Energy all throughout her body. If she no longer cared about winning or what would happen to her then she would just throw everything she had at him. Even if that meant damaging herself in the process. "She's crazy." Felix and the woman both thought at the same time seeing her actions and feeling her energy.

"What do you mean?" Confused at the woman's sudden change from friendly talking to her to turning serious she voiced her confusion. "That girl down there is about to do something incredibly stupid again." "....?" "She's disregarding her safety and well being and going to charge straight in. If the boy over there had any maliciousness in him or isn't careful she could get killed easily." "Wait.wha-" "to late." Staring speechless they all watched as Tearia started to run straight to the boy ignoring everything that came her way as she titled left and right trying to keep her balance. "Can she win like this?" "No way, she has even less chances of winning then before." "Tearia...why?" But she wouldn't get her answer as tearia dashed between boulders here and there while also letting some of them just hit her. "Ouch." She knew what she was being stupid but if she could actually get close maybe she could win and she banked everything on that plan. Worse case scenario she would just have to let her Grandmother take care of her for a bit after she lost.

Feeling scratches and bruises starting to form on her body she ignored them as she got closer then she ever imagined she could get. "A couple more meters." But each step even running was truly hell she felt like she'd trip and fall at any second just to be pelted by stones afterwards. It also didn't help that Felix was also backing up little by little with each step she took forward. "But that means he's scared at least." If Felix was scared then at the very least a chance was there for her to do something. Thinking that she completely ignored the fact that maybe Felix was just trying to give her a way out and be nice as she went forward like a madman no longer able to run.

With a mini earthquake under her feet she was in striking distance finally and for Tearia that was perfectly fine. All she had to do was not make any mistakes and maybe just maybe she could win this.

"It's all or nothing at this point anyway."

Throwing her all into it she charged all the Astral Energy she could into her good arm as she lunged forwards towards Felix. "Just one good attack, Please." Hoping she got in front of his finally and slashed down at him with her arm as Lightning sparked everywhere around it going crazy

Enjoy.
