When Ray opened his eyes, the show was still playing the same scene as when he went to his inner mind.

He looked to his side and saw Artoria staring at him. She seemed like she wanted to ask something but chose not to.

Although he loved romance movies, especially cheesy ones, he didn't focus on the movie at all. Ray desired to do his revenge as quickly as possible because he has other plans to do.

He still needs to make the cafe successful, needs to train more to defeat the threat in the future, and also develop his relationship with Artoria.

Ray began to make a magic circle on his left eye. He made it as tiny as possible so no one can notice it. Although Artoria will notice, it was a given.

He also formed a magic circle inside Nadia's body, particularly inside her womb. Then, so that the magic circle won't disappear, he implanted it inside her.

Suddenly, a horrifying scream came out of Nadia as she clutched the clothes on her bottom stomach. It was like a hot stone was pressing the inside of her stomach. Her face was smeared with fear and sweat.

Everyone inside the theater glanced at her. A scream or any loud sound inside a theater usually annoyed the people watching a movie, Nadia's scream was anything but normal. It made them worried about her because she gripped the bottom part of her clothes. One of the women below them started to ask questions about what happened.

It made quite a scene that made the staff stopped the film. When the lights lit up, Nadia made another scream. This time, she gripped her chest.

Yes, both were Ray's doing. The first scream was because he implanted the magic circle as harshly as possible. That magic circle will function as an aphrodisiac and also arouse ovulation when she's having sex. It will also make holes in condoms.

The second one was to stimulate the brain to feel like Nadia's chest was stabbed in the chest multiple times in a row.

He made the first magic circle to take mana from the surroundings, preventing it from disappearing.

Ray's hand was gripped by none other than Artoria. She knew Ray was the culprit. But she also knew that Ray's vengeance is starting, so she let go of his hand.

"I'm sorry, Artoria. But I have to do this." Ray whispered.

After that fiasco, Nadia was rushed to the hospital and brought to the nearest hospital to see if something was wrong. Ray, Artoria, and Brian followed.

A gynecologist and a cardiologist were summoned. The former came as soon as she was called while the latter still has a meeting with a patient.

Ray knew this was coming, so he implanted his first magic circle in a way so that it won't be visible through both human eyes and microscope. So even if they miraculously found something, they won't suspect Ray whatsoever.

He will make himself known to both of them, but it was not the right time.

Nadia kept gripping her chest because she kept feeling phantom pains.

"Do you feel anything on your chest?" Said the cardiologist that just came into the room.

"I feel a very sharp pain on my chest. Right here..." She touched her chest where her heart resides. The doctor continued his questioning,

"Does your family has a heart disease record?"

"No, as far as I'm aware of- ugh!" The phantom pain came again.

The doctor noticed and asked the three, "Can one of you call her parents?"

Brian wanted to answer but interrupted by Ray, "I already texted both her parents. They said it will take 5 more minutes." Ray replied as he showed the text messages.

Then, they wait for Nadia's parents to come.

While they were waiting, Ray was preparing for the second phase of his revenge.

Ever since Ray can use magic, he can easily hack through electronics such as televisions, smartphones, and even intercept radio waves. Although for the last part, there was a lot of noise when he tried it.

The next phase of his plan was to recover a 'hidden' recording from both Nadia and Brian's smartphones.

Since a long time ago, phones have devices that record voice or videos without the owner's knowledge. Those recordings can then be sent to the foreign government or agencies to help fight a terrorist group or snooping.

But, searching for hidden recordings is too hard for him, so he asked Hana's help.

'Hana, can you find me a recording in Brian's smartphone? The kind that can expose Nadia and him.'

[Affirmative... Recording found. What do host want to do with it?] it didn't take Hana 1 second to found the recording that Ray was looking for.

'Save it on my phone.'

[Affirmative... Recording saved]

'Thank you, Hana'

[You are welcome, Host.] Somehow, Ray can imagine a woman's smile.

He didn't need to play the recording since he didn't want to hear horny noises from 2 people that he hates the most. But he knew that others would want to know.

A scandal, no matter how small it is, still a scandal.

Although spreading a scandal, especially when you are not actively involved, will still stain your name. Ray knew this but he didn't care.

It's not even a price for him, because he will sooner or later, leave this world to travel another.

The parents came in. Worry and fear can be seen on their face. They bombarded the doctor with questions after questions, making sure that nothing is wrong with their baby.

"We will perform an X-Ray to see whether there was something wrong or not," said the doctor.

"When can she perform an X-Ray?" The father asked.

"As soon as possible."

After that, they were asking questions to Nadia. In the middle of her interrogation, the parents just realized Ray, an unknown girl, and also Brian was there.

"Ah, hello Ray!" said the mother.

The parents, Indra and Ratu, knew about Ray.

When Ray saved Nadia back then, they were very grateful to him. When most people hate Ray, they supported him. Not because he was the lover of Nadia, but her savior. It seems that their daughter didn't think Ray in the same light as they did.

When they saw Artoria, they were worried that Ray will leave Nadia to her. Artoria's beauty was like no other. Even Indra was captivated by her for a second before being pinched by Ratu on his hand.

The reason that they were worried was that they have an inkling about how Nadia felt towards Ray. Because at every family dinner, Nadia never mentioned Ray whatsoever and say stories about Brian instead. Which makes them quite annoyed but didn't let it show on their face.

"And this is?" Ratu asked.

"Her name is Artoria Pendragon. She's my combat instructor."

"Combat instructor? Do you still need that kind of stuff in this day and age? Indra asked.

"We can never be too sure. Especially in an age where betrayal is common practice," Ray replied sarcastically.

Brian and Nadia felt very agitated when they hear him, which was the reason why he was being sarcastic in the first place.

The parents were confused about why Ray said it, but the seed was there. With enough water, the flower of doubt will bloom inside them.

"Why is she with you?" Ratu asked again. She didn't want Ray to leave Nadia for another person because he was the son that they ever wanted. They even talked about the future where Ray and Nadia married and have kids.

Oh, how sad they would be once the cat is out of the bag.

"She's new to these parts, so I accompanied her. Since Nadia was with Brian when they came, I thought it would be a perfect time to bring her."

"Nadia was with Brian?" Indra asked with genuine confusion. It was weird for someone's steady to be with someone else, especially a boy. The flower started to bloom slowly.

"Uhhh, yes. I- I was hoping to go out with both of them today. I don't know that today was supposed to be their date." Brian said as sweat started to form on his neck.

When Brian told a lie, he became nervous and sweat formed on his neck. Not many know this fact, except Ray and Artoria. The latter can hear that Brian's voice was lathed with nervousness and she saw sweat on his neck. So she immediately assumed he was lying.

She remembered someone has similar characteristics like Brian when he lied back when she was still a king.

The more time she spent with Brian and Nadia, the sicker Artoria get. She can't comprehend why the supposed girlfriend and best friend treated Ray like this.

Not many backstabbing people were found in her time as a King, except Guinevere with Lancelot and the pre-battle of Camlann where Mordred and some of her citizens did a coup d'etat.

To her, it was not fair. She can see that Ray has worked hard when training and also his newly owned cafe.

Even before her arrival, Ray has worked hard for the cafe. He helped to introduce the cafe to the students inside the school and even went as far as making brochures and giving them on the streets.

Employees of the cafe didn't know about him making brochures. They only know that it was a school project.

The reason that he didn't tell them was that he didn't want them to feel bad when they knew the brochures will just be on the dumpster not far from him.

Looking at people taking the brochure to just throw them was... heartbreaking. But he kept going, not because of his duty, but because he desired the cafe to prosper.

Ray and Artoria opted to go home with Brian soon followed.

It was because the doctor said that only families can come. Although Ratu asked Ray to come with them, he declined by saying, "I'm sorry, I have something urgent to do."

The three of them were in a parking lot. Brian told them that he will drive them home. Ray wanted to refuse but he didn't want any rumor about him with Artoria, at least until Brian and Nadia get what they deserve.

The car was running slowly, different from what Brian usually do. Then, he asked, "Ray, do you and Artoria have a relationship?"

Ray looked at him weirdly and said, "No, we only have a student-teacher relationship."

"But why did you-"

"As I said many times now, my teacher is still new to these parts. I want to introduce her to our town." Ray interrupted. He started to feel annoyed to explain this more than one time.

The car arrived on a traffic light. The atmosphere was beginning to feel heavy. Although, it was only Brian that feel on edge.

Nadia's parents didn't even greet him. It was like they didn't want him there.

He thought that if he cannot get Nadia, then Artoria can be the replacement. Since Ray has no right to be with a beauty like Artoria, he wanted to be in a relationship with her. Brian thought that this time, he won't need to be afraid to show off their relationship if he can be with Artoria.

A delusional mind of an insane person is really interesting.

After the traffic lights turned green, the car drove again. This time, Brian didn't ask questions.

Artoria was sitting on the back seat, not listening to even the radio playing. Her thought was only about hurting Brian as much as possible. She kept seeing Brian looking at her direction from the rear-view mirror with lustful eyes.

"You better stop with what you are doing," Ray said as he looked at the outside from his window.

"W-what do you mean, Ray?"

"You know what I mean. My teacher won't take your gesture kindly." Ray became defensive.

"Yeah yeah..." Brian said.

Ray knew that Brian won't stop looking at Artoria after his warning. He then said, "Suit yourself then."

Not long after that little 'fight', they arrived at the boarding house. Ray went outside the car to open the gate, but someone did it for them.

It was Christina.

"Ah, you don't have to do it, matron," Ray said as he bowed his head a little bit.

"I heard a car sound earlier. Because there's nobody else who has driven their car out, I thought that it was you. And I was right, so I took initiative." Christina said with a beaming smile.

Artoria and Brian saw they talking to each other from inside the car. Miraculously, both of them felt jealous albeit directing the said emotion to different people.

Brian was jealous of Ray because he can live in the same roof as Christina. While Artoria was jealous of Christina for reasons even she cannot define herself.

Brian stayed in the car while Artoria went out of the car and get near Ray, a gesture which shocked Brian. He was so shocked that despite taking a picture of Ray with 2 beautiful women on his sides can benefit him, he didn't do anything.

Ray noticed this so he went to the driver's side and knocked on the window. Because of this, Brian went back to reality.

"Do you want to come in?" Ray asked.

"Uh... no. I'm going back to my house."

"Well, suit yourself. Be careful on your way home." Ray said as he made little holes on the 4 tires using magic.

Brian didn't say anything and drove back to his house. It was unknown to him that the 4 tires are tampered with. So in approximately 10 minutes, all of his tires will go flat.

After they can't see the car, Christina said, "Can I see your training session?"

Christina wanted to see if she can learn together with Ray. Little by little, she was breaking her own rules of not becoming too close with Ray.

Seeing Ray with Artoria, especially when she knew they were sleeping on the same bed, made her anxious.

It was a relationship where she knew they were lying about, at least to the public.

Although she didn't dare to betray her husband, Christina herself doesn't know what will happen in the future.

Hello Readers,

A second chapter, what a surprise.

For me, 2020 will be the year of writing. I don't exactly set specific new year resolutions because I know I won't do it in the end. As you all may know now, I'm a very lazy person. So I hope making it as vague as possible can help. I will also remind myself to write so do remember that I won't drop this novel. I know that this is too demanding but please bear with my bad upload schedule.

I wonder why many people around me that play Monster Hunter World Iceborne already finished the story. Playing in high rank for so long, hunting a monster for more than 15 minutes exhaust me. Although, I don't feel as exhausted now so I can have more fun playing :D.
