With sweat and pain in his nerves, Subaru fell onto the floor, too tired to get up anymore, his arms giving up as they went numb from pain, and his body hurting like hell.

Subaru sighed, but he did not feel let down, he still could create the skill, and he did not really need to do it right now, if he died again and again, he might get it.

Slowly, 30 minutes pass as Subaru rests, getting his stamina and some energy back, eating whatever is in his bag to get energy for what he is gonna do.

Subaru gets up, and with a slight leap, his body flies into the air, reaching the top of a 2 story house, Subaru's face lits up before he falls down, but that quickly goes away as he looks into the sky.

"Emilia died?"

Subaru watched as the sky slowly turned gloomy, and snowflakes started falling while the cold wind touched his skin, turning into ice on his skin.

Subaru started shaking, his body going cold, and then the blood inside his body started freezing, slowly turning into sharp spikes that pierced into his gut.

Without any chance to speak, the tongue Subaru stuck to his teeth, and he moved it, causing his tongue to break in half, then his eyeballs, it slowly solidified, turning hard.

And with a slightly panicked scream, Subaru felt his eyes get crushed into ice pieces, the ice pieces slowly fell into his now empty eye sockets, freezing his brain nerves.

Subaru stood still a few seconds later, his skin blue, and as the wind slightly picked up, his body fell forward, and with a crack, his body broke into thousands of small ice pieces.

This same scene could be seen across the whole capital before a red-haired man noticed and ran back to the capital at light speed.

But it was too late, and the whole capital turned into an ice statue.

"Shit!"

Subaru opened his eyes wide, his eyes turning crossed as he felt the phantom pain, he almost went on his knees, if it was not for already feeling some pain, and then developing pain resistance.
