Echidna paced around in a circle, black fog rolling through the devoid space.

"You're in the shadow garden." She bellowed.

Reinhard charged at her, but it was too late. The witch of greed vanished from her spot in the darkness. The red-haired knight turned around in the void, his consciousness deteriorating. He could hear whispering and crawling echoing out from the blackness.

Reinhard clutched his blade tightly, sweat rolling down his forehead.

"Who said that?!"

Out from the darkness stepped a thin man with a hunched back. Viridian hair fell down his pale face, his beady eyes widening with wickedness. A repugnant odor wafted off from his sunken skin.

"I am Petelgeuse Romanée-Conti! Sin archbishop of sloth!"

Reinhard's grip began to tremble.

Satella's form grew and enlarged. Her immense figure towered over Reinhard, mounds of fog rolling around her in the void.

"I will do whatever you ask of me." Echoed Reinhard.

"Good." Responded Satella.

The black void began to crumble and fall apart. Blinding light pierced through the shadow garden from all directions. In an instant, Reinhard had reappeared in Lugunica. Buildings stretched over his head as demi-humans and commoners shuffled by in the streets of the great kingdom. He stared into the distance to see the royal castle being rebuilt.
