Chapter 3: Divine Egg

It looks at Zaine.

"What to do with you now..." Said Zaine looking at it.

"Hmm, I don't know. Are you able to hide somewhere?" Zaine said as he walked outside his apartment.

It seemingly understood what Zaine was saying and nodded. Then he disappeared into magic particles.

Zaine goes outside his apartment after taking the provisions needed for his journey, all in a single big backpack. A total of three water bottles, and a few snack bars, seeing that is what was left in his apartment.

Looking back, his life hasn't been very kind to him. He was bullied at school, forcing him to stop going. His parents separated and decided to leave him, forcing him to cope by playing games all day. With no parents, no relatives, and no friends...

Zaine regrets having that kind of life. Maybe the game is a sign that god gave him a second chance at life.

As he continues walking down the street, chaos continues, people screaming, running for their life.

Students wearing the school uniforms where he used to attend can be seen running from monsters in a panic. Upon watching closely, it is the group of bullies from school. The ones that used to bully him until he resigned from school.

Chase by a group of Goblins and Zombies. He could see the guys swinging a bat carelessly.

"What the fuck?! Go away!" Shouted one of the guys while swinging the bat.

Zaine watches as the Goblins and Zombies slowly overwhelm them, making one of them cry out for help, with no one helping them.

Slowly the Goblins and Zombies start ripping their flesh and torturing them before they soon die a grotesque death.

After killing Zaine's former classmates, he throws a rock at one of the Zombies, taking its attention. It notices him and starts chasing him. Zaine stays calm and manages to take it to a secluded location, making it a 1v1.

Zaine summoned a Goblin and commanded it to attack. Though its movement is considered normal for a low leveled monster, it is still faster than the Zombie. It overwhelms the Zombie by circling it and lets Zaine finish the job using the wooden plank.

After defeating it, Zaine realizes that this world is similar to HHL, which has the same monster's mechanics and movement. The monsters are also well known to him, and with the summoner role that he picked, the more he kills monsters, the more summons he will have.

He continues to hunt for monsters, defeating zombies, slowly increasing his level, and summons.

After a few hours of hunting, he finally has sufficient levels to fight the first boss monster, the Orc.

With the help of the map, he can locate the place of the Orc domain. While hunting mobs, he slowly creeps his way closer and closer to the Orc domain.

As he arrived at the domain, the air seemed different. He can feel pressure coming from inside the now abandoned underground parking lot.

"I have done this a million times in the game... I only have to redo it in real life," Zaine mumbled to fire himself up for the upcoming battle.

As he entered the entrance, a notification popped up.

With slight hesitation, Zaine pressed Yes.

He got teleported inside the domain. He immediately summoned some of his Goblins to deal with the Orc underling.

Then he summoned two Zombies to distract it as he regenerated his Mana slowly.

Superior to it, the Orc crushed it with ease, stalling for only a couple of seconds.

Yet a couple of seconds is all Zaine needs as amid the distraction, Zaine helped the goblin finish off all the orc underlings.

Now with the horde of goblins and hounds, Zaine commanded his summons to rush the Orc. Though has incredible attack power, it lacks agility, making it hard to hit multiple targets swiftly.

A grin started appearing on Zaine's face as it got surrounded by his summons. He felt excited by the situation.

With it slowly getting overwhelmed, the Goblins managed to hurt it with tiny scratches until one of the goblins stabbed it in its neck, a vital spot, thus killing it.

"Yeah! I did it! Hahahaha!" Zaine cheered for the success he did. He felt joy similar to when he killed the first boss in the game.

Zaine had regrouped his summons, and as he wanted to exit the den, a notification pop-up.

Seeing that he is in a safe spot, he hatches the egg.

"Yes!" Zaine pressed the button.

The egg radiated white color as the exterior of the egg started cracking, revealing a blinding light toward everything around it.
