"Elder Baldie?" Chiron thought to himself.

Elder Baldie was one that Chiron considered to be a very unique fellow. And it was not because he was a noble from the giant Serpent tribe. But because of a range of several other things. 

Firstly, the Giant serpent Tribe was one that had no chief. And according to what Chiron knew, they refused to have a chief no matter what. Instead, according to the tradition of the tribe, he that sits on the throne of Vandoria his their chief. However, that could not happen as the current king was not a member of the Tribe by right. 

However, the tribe had plans long placed in strategic points so that it could have itself the king that it desires. King Richard's wife had been a member of the Giant Serpent clan. Victor, being his son had already received the totem of another great tribe and therefore was no longer considered a blood of the giant serpent tribe. Nevertheless, his sister, Nora, was Chiron's mother.
