Their boss

Cyron looked at Zion as he stared at the castle then a smile appeared on his face and he approached Zion, who looked at him and Cyron walked away, showing Zion to follow him.

Zion followed Cyron while the others that were with him, went in their own direction all except for Goran, he went along with Zion and Cyron.

As they were about to enter the castle, the guards stopped them and Cyron sighed as they turned their attention to Zion, wondering who he was and whether he had the leader's permission to enter or not and Cyron exhaled deeply.

Cyron began explaining to them that Zion was one of their guests and after hearing that, they allowed him to enter the castle with the others.

"It's nice in here, isn't it?" Cyron asked as Zion looked at the cream interior with brown flooring and painting on the wall with a large shimmering chandelier in the middle of the main hall and Zion scoffed.

"Yeah, but too extravagant for my taste, somethings are not necessary," He responded as Cyron looked at him then he shrugged and Goran burst out laughing.

"Well, that's the first," Goran said and Cyron laughed as Zion stared at the two, wondering what they were laughing about.

"What is it? What's so funny?" Zion asked and Gorna placed his hand on his shoulder.

"That's the first we have heard any among ourselves say it," Goran responded.

"After all, not all of us have this kind of money or luxury, which is why those without it won't complain and enjoy it, despite that fact, the one that you just mentioned, first time I have brought someone who doesn't have this luxury here and hear them say that," Cyron explained and Zion exhaled deeply then looked at Zion with a slight smile.

"It's fine, you are absolutely right about that, it's the exact same thing with me, now are you ready to meet him?" Cyron asked.

"It's getting late and I am getting sleepy, let's get this over with," Goran added and Cyron hit him hard on his back and he flinched with his eyes widening.

"Damn you...." He mumbled with his brows twitching and Zion chuckled.

"Yeah, let's go meet him then call it a night, I am pretty sure everyone just wants to rest, especially after being in that dungeon," He said and Cyron smiled at them.

"I understand, all right, come on," Cyron replied as he kept on walking and Zion sighed, seeing how big the place was.

'I feel me alone will get lost in here, this is too big for my convenience,' He thought as they came to a halt then entered a room, which turned out to be an office, beside a garden, which Zion found very comfortable at the time.

"Oh? So you guys are finally back, that was a lot faster than I expected, you didn't do anything you were not supposed to now, did you, Cyron?" A guy asked as they turned their attention to the desk.

Zion saw someone was sitting on the chair but was facing in the other direction and he scoffed then Cyron smiled before looking at the person.

"No, there was no need, also, I brought a guest with us, this is Zion," Cyron responded and a smirk appeared on the guy's face as he stood up from the chair.

"He came here willingly?" The person asked in a slightly deep tone.

"Yeah, in fact, he was planning on coming here from the very start," Cyron responded as the guy turned around to look at Zion and his eyes narrowed.

"So, you are Zion? The one who accepted the challenge and said a few interesting things?" He asked and Zion's eyes narrowed as he looked at him.

"Yeah, so what if I did?" He asked and Goran flinched.

"Zion...." He mumbled and Cyron smiled a little.

"You damn brat... I can see why you took quite a liking to him, Cyron, you were right but..." The guy said.

He came out of the shadows, which were blocking Zion from seeing his face properly and came under the lights that were within his office.

"My name is Trevet, I am the leader of this kingdom, don't bow your heads just yet, I am not in the mood, let's just talk," He said with a smile on his face as Zion looked at him.

The guy was tall, slim, fair yet had a muscular body, the face of those of a pretty boy and had bright green eyes with blonde hair.

"Nice to meet you, I am Zion," He replied as he shook Trevet's hand.

"Nice to meet you as well, I have heard quite a few things, you don't care about certain status at all, do you?" He asked and Zion glanced at Cyron, who turned away, pretending as though he was doing his own thing.

"It is true, ones status doesn't matter to me," He responded and Cyron looked at him as did Trevet.

"I see, so you are the type who would be willing to go head to head with someone if they do something you don't like, even if that person is in a position of high authority?" He asked.

"Of course, I am, being in a position like that doesn't give you the right to do many things, I don't care if it's a king himself, I would not stand certain things," He responded with a piercing look in his eyes.

When the guy saw that, his eyes narrowed then a smile appeared on his face as he got closer to Zion and Zion's brows furrowed as he looked at him.

'That should have been enough of an answer for him, what the hell is he thinking now?' Zion wondered and Trevet exhaled deeply then patted Cyron on his shoulder.

"You did good bringing him here, now, tell me, Zion, how long do you plan on staying in the city for?" He asked and Zion sighed as he thought about the things he needed to do.

"I might be here for a while, I need to work as well," He responded and a smirk appeared on Trevet's face.

"Then work for me in the meantime, I will pay you handsomely and believe me, working for me, there will never be a dull moment," He said and Zion stared at him as did Cyron and Goran.

But little did he know, that was exactly what Zion wanted and a smirk appeared on his face.
