It's on

The way Zion looked at the ones that came to the guild, showed that he was slightly interested in them and wondered what they were doing there at the time.

Rivar glanced at Zion, who looked straight at them and among them, he caught one of their eyes and the guy who seemed a little bit interested in him, approached him.

"I have come here a few times, but, I am not sure that I have ever seen you around before, who are you?" The person asked as he looked at Zion, carefully.

"I am just a guy who came here to get a place, someone who wanted a better job, a job which could improve our lives," He responded and the guy chuckled when he heard that then sighed.

"I see and understand that very well, that's kind of an everyday problem with a lot of people, did you find what you are looking for here?" He asked and Zion smiled a little at him.

"In the means of a job, yes, you can say that I did," He responded.

"Well, if that's so, then that's soon, if you don't mind me asking, what kind of job did you find to your liking?" He asked as Zion looked at him.

"A hunter," He responded and the guy looked at him then his eyes narrowed.

"I see, that's nice, then will you be interested in taking a job as well?" The guy asked and Zion's eyes narrowed.

"What kind of job?" Zion asked.

"One suited for a hunter, it concerns a dungeon of course," He responded and Rivar glanced at Zion, wondering what he would do.

"I am listening," Zion said and another guy among them, approached the one who was talking to Zion, then tapped him on his shoulder and the guy glanced at him.

"Are you sure you want to offer them when they are not even official as yet? We have already gathered valuable people for him, besides, they seem like amateurs as well," The person said and the guy scoffed.

"It doesn't matter, let me speak," The guy replied and the other nodded then stepped back and the one who was talking to Zion, returned his attention to him.

"The dungeon is dangerous, filled with horrible things but once it's cleared you can be handsomely rewarded as well, you may even be able to take a few things from the dungeon, there are benefits even though there are a lot of downsides, what do you say to it?" The guy asked.

"I already accepted an offer to go into a dungeon once I get my card but tell me, who is this job from?" Zion asked and the guy sighed.

"Well it is from one of the royals, he wants a few things he is the one that sent out us to recruit a few people, a party to send inside the dungeon, his name is Ender," He responded and Zion's eyes narrowed then he glanced at Rivar.

"Ender huh? I see, then why should we work for him? Just so that he can reap all of the benefits from it, take the glory?" He asked.

"You... What's with that tone?" The one who called them amateurs asked as he got closer and Zion glanced at him.

"Be quiet, you will get to speak when it's your turn, have you no manners despite being dressed in your uniform?" Zion asked and Rivar looked at him, wondering why he was being like that and Zion sighed.

"What do you mean exactly?" The one who he was talking to all along asked him and Zion looked at him.

"I mean, the dungeon is dangerous, if these types of people have the power, like people say they do, then why don't they go themselves or their men? Why should we risk things just so that he can benefit from it? You can even die, even if you want the money, is it worth it? Why give it to them when you can probably gain more if you come back out alive?" He asked and the guy left staring at him, not knowing how to answer him.

"Zion," Rivar mumbled and Zion scoffed.

"I refuse the job, I am not going to do it for him to gain everything, if he wants it so bad, he should go himself or something, I don't care who he may be, sorry if that was rude, but it's the truth," Zion said.

"How dare you talk about him like that? Do you even know what you are saying? You are basically insulting him," The one that spoke earlier replied and Zion sighed.

"So? Do I look like I care? I suggest you stay quiet, I am just stating the facts, learn to be practical bro," Zion said and the guy gritted his teeth.

He was about to hit Zion and the one who offered Zion the job glanced at him but before he could hit Zion.

The young man blocked his punch with his left arm and looked at him then kicked him in his stomach, pushing him back.

"Don't, I will defend myself, also, the dungeon that you guys are talking about, I assume it's the one that has the blue glow?" Zion asked.

"Yeah, it is," The other responded and Zion scoffed.

"I see, I will be going into that same one shortly, I might see some of you there," He said and the guy's eyes narrowed as he looked at Zion then smiled, admiring his courage.

"You know you can get arrested for this right? What do you think you are doing?" The guy he kicked asked and Zion glanced at him.

"I know, but I don't care, I am just doing what I think is right, what I want to, this is going to be a good hunt, let's see who does better," Zion responded as he walked away and the other guy smiled once again.

"Challenge is on," He said and Zion waved at them as he walked away with Rivar, then they turned around to leave the guild.

'Let's see who gets what they want, this is only the start of it all,' Zion thought and his eyes narrowed as he was heading to meet the receptionist that took care of their work, the day before.
