A week after that night I was cleaning the counters when a shy girl walked in I looked up and locked eyes with her she quietly sat in front of me "y-you're raymoney right?" I nodded "i-m not sure if you rem-" "I remember," I said softly her eyes light up "I want to join you" "huh?" "like save people stop bad guys like you did that night" I looked at my watch "guys got 5 minutes" I yelled slowly people started leaving "no," i said she looked at me sadly "now go home kid" "bu-" I cut her off "go" she looked down and left I finished wiping down the counters and went to lock the door but through the window, i saw the girl sitting against the wall I let out a sigh and opened the door she looked up at me I mentioned to the bar and she quickly got up and went inside I closed and locked the door I sighed as I turned around "what's your name anyway" "Ashley" i nodded i took her to the back room and pointed at my bed "you sleep there" she happily nodded and sat down i sat at my desk and fell asleep
