The initial request from Moon to clone Finn had left him utterly baffled and confused. Her previous words and in-game dialogue had strongly indicated her disdain and even disgust for the concept of artificial life. It was indeed ironic to contemplate, given that she herself existed as a form of artificial life.

Fortunately, Moon soon clarified her intentions, easing Finn's confusion. She explained that her lifespan could be significantly extended if someone could address the more immediate issues she faced. This included reopening fused exhaust vents caused by the intense heat and dealing with the excessive number of creatures that roamed her body, causing minor but noticeable damages.

Upon hearing Moon's explanation and agreeing to assist her, Finn dedicated himself to the task. After approximately 15 days, or the equivalent of 1.5 cycles, he discovered that Moon had already successfully created five perfectly stable clones. However, these clones were still in their fetal stages and required additional time to mature and develop.

Finn patiently waited for an additional five days, astonished at the remarkable speed of Moon's work. In that time, the five clones had finished growing, each bearing an uncanny resemblance to Finn. The only distinguishing features were the varying bone growths in certain places on their bodies, marking their individuality.

In the current moment, Finn stood before the growth vats containing the five slugcats, eagerly anticipating their release. Both Finn and Moon shared a sense of excitement as they watched the timer above the vats count down, marking the approaching moment when the clones would be set free.

The vats opened, causing the five slugcats to fall out. Before they could hit the floor, they were caught by Moon and laid gently upon the floor as they stirred awake.

{Chief?} Suddenly, as Finn watched the clones awaken, one of them looked up at him and initiated a mental connection. Their voice sounded slightly immature, struggling with a single word. Finn found this peculiar because, based on what he had learned from Moon, mental connections typically conveyed intents rather than using words.

{It seems they're still grasping communication} Moon said as the remaining slugcats regained their bearings and directed their attention towards Finn and her. The increasing mental connections and voices entering Finn's mind started to make him feel increasingly uncomfortable as they all asked the same question.

{Chief?} Even though it felt like a significant responsibility, Finn took a deep breath and steeled himself. He was now ready to approach the slugcats before him and address them.

{I am chief!} Finn spoke as he stood before the vat-grown slugcats slightly cringing as he said this, but what happened next shocked him. Each of the slugcats' eyes sharpened, with weapons materializing in their hands, a surprising turn of events that left him astounded.

{Challenge!} All five of the slugcats let out screams and charged at Finn. Despite his surprise, Finn acted swiftly, summoning a shield and leaping backward to dodge a dull bone broadsword wielded by one of the slugcats, who had a crescent moon on their forehead.

Finn's tension persisted as he had to quickly raise his shield to block two swinging battle axes wielded by the largest of the five clones which had a star on their forehead. To his astonishment, the force behind the attack forced him to take a step back, a surprising turn of events given his usual ability to handle adversaries with ease.

'This might be tough' Finn contemplated his next move, ready to go on the offensive. However, before he could act, he was compelled to swiftly duck to evade a knife hurled by a slugcat with a diamond on its forehead, but being prepared for this another slugcat moved to attack just as he crouched down to avoid throwing knife wielding slugscats attack, causing a large glaive to appear before him, quickly altering the dynamics of the confrontation.

'I can't dodge!' As Finn contemplated the unfolding events, the world appeared to freeze, and his instincts kicked in. He attempted to materialize a shield in front of his face, and while he succeeded in doing so, it was just in the nick of time to block the glaive. Unfortunately, the force of the glaive transferred to the shield, causing it to be flung heavily into Finn's face, knocking him backward.

'I'm starting to get angry,' Finn thought to himself as he regained his composure and surveyed the room. He took note of his opponents' weaponry: knives, a broadsword, a glaive, and two bows and arrows. This gave him a better understanding of the situation he faced.

'Well, damn,' Finn spoke to himself, undaunted by the charging glaive and broadsword-wielding slugcats. With little need to psych himself up, he charged toward them. Just as they were about to clash, Finn unexpectedly hurled his shield at the glaive wielder. which to the glaive wielder's shock, led to their weapon easily being snapped under the force of the shield's throw leading to the glaive wielder to be sent tumbling backward, landing on the floor unable to move.

The same fate soon befell the broadsword user as Finn continued forward, stepping past the incapacitated bodies of the glaive weilder as he hurled two smaller shields at the broadsword wielder causing a scene similar to what happend to the glaive wielder. at last finn made his way toward the knife user and the two bow wielders.

{Give up or get beaten,} Finn communicated mentally as he approached them. The three slugcats trembled in fear, their heads dropping to the floor in submission giving up before they could even attempt to fight finn
