Following their victory against the Miros Vulture, Finn and his companions wasted no time celebrating. Finn efficiently stored the defeated creature in his inventory, and they resumed their journey deeper inside the colossal machine, ascending higher and higher. Their adventure was far from over, and they pressed forward with unwavering determination.
After approximately two hours of intense climbing and parkour, Finn and Echo followed the Spearmaster through another tunnel. Emerging on the other side, they found themselves in a dimly lit, zero-gravity room. However, Finn's attention was immediately drawn to something in the distance—an unusual creature with three one-eyed heads attached to long necks extending from a central body. The body had thin protrusions, with varying numbers between individuals, arranged like a propeller, along with trailing fibers.
It was a bizarre and intriguing sight that captured Finn's curiosity in this strange and alien environment.
{What is that?} Finn's question was conveyed unconsciously through the mind bridge as he remained fixated on the peculiar creature. The creature floated silently in the gravityless room, surrounded by a large group of white, glowing balls of light. These ethereal orbs swirled around the creature in a mesmerizing pattern, creating an otherworldly and captivating scene. Finn's curiosity about this enigmatic entity and its surroundings grew even stronger.
{Those are inspectors, they are the caretakers of the neuron fly's and also act as gaurdians if the need arise}Spearmaster's response indicated that he wasn't particularly concerned with the creature or the spectacle before them, suggesting that this sight might not be as novel to him. He gracefully moved through the weightless environment, swimming through the air with ease, and made his way towards a brightly glowing tunnel that led upward. Finn followed his lead, reluctant as he was still enchanted by the beauty ofwhat lied ahead.
'Their even more enchanting in person' With his final thought lingering in his mind, Finn entered the tunnel and promptly emerged in a small, unremarkable room. He barely had time to take in his surroundings before he needed to follow Spearmaster through yet another tunnel, this one positioned a little higher on a side wall. Their journey through this intricate and enigmatic structure continued.
{GO BACK!} Without warning, Finn was forcefully shoved back into the tunnel by the Spearmaster, who swiftly followed him inside. Just in the nick of time, as it turned out, as a massive object collided with the area just outside the tunnel entrance. The colossal entity slowly drifted away from the vent, its unmoving form leaving a sense of foreboding in the air. Finn and the Spearmaster had narrowly escaped a potentially dangerous attack.
{What is that?} Finn listened as Echo posed a question, his small form positioned between Finn and Spearmaster in the confined tunnel. Spearmaster looked at the little batfly and replied to his inquiry, shedding some light on their current situation.
{Seems a Miros vulture challenged a Inspector} Upon hearing the Spearmaster's words, Finn was left completely shell-shocked. He gazed out of the vent at the lifeless creature's floating corpse, a shiver running down his spine. The realization that a creature powerful enough to necessitate both his and the Spearmaster's combined efforts had been decisively defeated by the inspector filled him with a sense of awe and apprehension about there next actions.
{Don't worry as long as we don't make a move on the neuron flies we should be fine} Spearmaster's reassurance brought a slight sense of relief to Finn's heart. As they continued their journey, Finn emerged from the tunnel, quickly storing the Miros Vulture's corpse in his inventory. He couldn't help but notice the extensive damage to the creature, with parts of it almost ripped apart, and the head adorned with burn wounds leaving not much to how the inspector dealt with it.
'New note... don't fuck with inspectors!' Finn's thoughts were solemn as he observed the unharmed Inspector in the distance, diligently carrying out its task of overseeing the Neuron Flies. He continued to trail behind Spearmaster, who floated around the Inspector and moved toward a vent situated beyond it. This development didn't sit well with Finn, and he made every effort to avoid even approaching the Inspector as he followed Spearmaster through the tunnel.
Once again, after emerging from the tunnel, Finn and Spearmaster found themselves in a nearly pitch-black room. The only illumination came from the dimly glowing floor. Having become accustomed to this routine, Finn effortlessly floated behind spearmaster to the other side of the room and entered one of the numerous tunnels. Without hesitation, Finn followed him into the tunnel, ready to face whatever challenges lay ahead.
