Chapter III

On a winter day, Barlon and Leron were fighting with Swords. Leron strikes Barlon But barlon successfully Dodges the strike. Leron gives Barlon several strikes But misses them all. Barlon got bored and Strikes Lerons sword knocking it out of Lerons hand in one shot. "I win, again" said Barlon. Leron stands up and smiles at Barlon. "Good Fight, brother" said Leron. Barlon sighs. "You gotta Get Better, I'm tired of winning". Leron's smile Fades. Dane Laughs at them. Barlon Turns to Dane. "what is so funny?"

"Nothing, I just laugh when you two don't Get along"

"what do You mean by don't Get along?"

"You two are very different from each other, I don't even believe that You two are brothers"

Barlon Takes His sword and leaves. Dane looks at Leron. "Your brother is right you Know"

"About what?"

"You need to Get Better, If you don't you won't join the Knights guard"

Ser Dane starts to train Leron. Leron Gets Better and Better every Day.

After 3 months Leron Became Very Good at sword fighting But He didn't surpass His brother.

Finally, the Royale Tournament came up. Twenty fighters from all around the kingdom compete for the Knights guard position. Only five can Get That position. Leron and Barlon Joined the tournament and are ready for what's coming.

On the tournament day

Leron and Barlon were in their room packing their things and getting ready to head to the King's castle. Dane And Henny Enter the room. "Are you two ready?". Barlon Looks at them with dead eyes. "You two are so annoying" said Barlon and Leaves the room.

"what's up with him?" said Henny

Dane breaks the conversation. "shut up You two and let's go". The Three of them leave the room and go to the stable. "I got a little present for you, Leron" said Henny. Lerons face lights up and He smiles. "what is it?". He opens one of the stable doors revealing a Big White horse. "Ta-da" said Henny. "is that for me?"

"Yeah, all of it"

"Thank You, Hen I really appreciate it"

"what are You waiting for ride it"

Leron gets excited and mounts the horse. He rides it outside the stable. Leron Gets down. Henny and Dane get out of the stable. "so do you like it?". Leron smiles. "Like it? I love it!". Henny smiles. "I sell the fastest horses in the kingdom of course you will like it" said Henny. Dane looks at him With confusion. "since when you are selling horses"

"huh didn't I tell You"

"You have told me millions of things But selling Horses was not one of the things You told me"

"is it now or is it because You have a bad memory"

Leron interrupts them. "you two can deal with this later we have a tournament to attend". Henny and Dane nod. The Three of them mount their horses and are about to head to the castle. "wait, where is Barlon?" said Leron. Henny sighs. "He probably left without us" said Henny. Dane cuts the conversation. "we are late to the tournament so worry about Barlon later". They listen to Dane and Started going to the King's castle.

Information:

The King's name is Valdor. He is married to a Woman twenty years younger than him. He has Five children, Two older sons, and Three Daughters. He ruled the kingdom for over 17 years with the respect of all the kingdom. He is the seventh King of the kingdom.

Leron, Henny, and Dane reach the castle. "Gentlemen, we are at the King's castle" said Dane. Leron looks amazed at the castle. "the castle is...beautiful". Henny laughs. "what's funny?" said Dane. Henny looks at Dane. "Nothing it's just the fact that This is the first time Leron sees a big castle like this"

"And what's wrong with that?"

"Don't blame I have been all around the kingdom"

"let's go inside the castle we are late already" said Leron. The Three of them enter the castle. And infront of them is a big hall where the king's throne is. When they entered the castle they immediately saw Barlon standing in a corner alone. Leron approached him. "why did you go without us?". Barlon looks at Leron with His same dead eyes. "why would I wait for You"

"I'm your brother"

"that's not a good reason, brother"

Barlon walks off. Dane and Henny walk to Leron. "why is he like that" said Leron. "Let him go we don't need him anyway" said Henny.

Barlon sits down and starts meditating. Two girls look at Barlon. "look at him He is so Handsome"

suddenly someone speaks. "silence everyone, the King is about to speak!". Everyone goes quiet. The King enters the room with His children and wife and then sits on the throne. His wife standing beside him as well as His children. "Today is a great day for our kingdom. Today is the Day when the tournament starts and the fighters compete for the king's guard postiton. Only five will succeed and Take the position. Two of them will join the attack Guards, and the other three will be the Private Guards for each of my Three Daughters. The tournament starts today at the Korral Arena near Palcer River. Everyone Get ready and Good Luck to the Contestants". Everyone claps.

"where is the korral arena anyways?" said Henny. Dane yawns. "next to the Palcer river". Henny pushes dane's shoulder lightly. Barlon joins them. "I'm coming with you three". Henny and Dane look suprised. "is this the Barlon i Know" said Leron

"I dont want to come with You three but..."

"But what"

Barlon looks at a group of girls looking at him and following him. They immediately understood him. "oh i see why" said Dane. Everyone laughs it off But Barlon.

After 2 hours everyone reached the korral Arena. The Arena is big. everybody is getting ready for the tournement. "You got this, Leron. We believe in You" said Dane. Leron smiles at dane. "Thanks dane You've been Always there for me". The Tournement finally begun. "The rules are simple, there are two rounds. You have to win these two rounds. If you get defeated once it is done for you. Knock the sword out of your opponents hand and You win".

"Good Luck, Leron" said Dane and Henny. Leron nods at them and enters the Arena with Barlon and the other fighters. Everyone is inside the Arena. Everyone is ready for the tournement. The King begins talking. "The First Fighter is Barlon Longborn Versus Marlie Varcel". Barlon And Marlie take out their sword out of its Sheath. They Get ready for the Duel. Barlon begins the duel by attacking Marlie.

Marlie is amazed at Barlon's speed in attack and freezes in his place. Marlie tries to defend But Barlon's speed is Just phenomenal. After many strikes from Barlon Marlie gets tired and Barlon easily knocks the sword out of Marlie's Hands. Barlon puts his sword near Marlie's neck. The crowd begun to cheer for Barlon. "The First Winner is Barlon Longborn!". Barlon returns his sword to its Sheath and Smirks at Marlie.
