Chapter 53 - Girls. Tons and tons of Girls!

Bob started nodding his head as he kept playing a song in his head. It was a song he remembered, something that stuck in his mind. If he had a good singing voice he'd be singing it now. Too bad he didn't.

"I'll be back."

Bob said to his crew as he got up from his seat and left.

"Where is he going?"

"No clue."

Bob couldn't sit still, he needed to move his body. He would go hunt down a group of pirates but he decided to leave them all to John.

Instead Bob started walking the streets.

"Come on! Find that bastard!"

Bob saw a group of five men with weapons in their hands stop and look around.

Bob decided to follow them for now, it seemed that something interesting was going to go down. He wanted to see what it was about.

A few minutes later the group of five men stopped at a house. They kicked in the door and rushed inside.

"I knew you'd be here!"

A man yelled.

Bob entered the building behind the men. He saw them surrounding a man that seemed to be in his mid twenties, he had short brown hair. His looks would break the hearts of many females.

"What's so special about this guy?"

Bob asked himself.

"Please! Leave me alone, I refuse to work with you or you people!"

The man shouted.

A large man with a bald head grabbed the man by his tan shirt.

"You have no choice. Come with me or i'll break your legs and drag you."

The man spotted Bob.

"Help me! Please!"

Bob didn't expect the man to say anything to him.

"What's so special about you?"

Bob asked him.

"Nothing! Their boss heard my voice one night and fell in love with me. I told him I don't swing that way, but he won't accept it! Now please!"

Bob rubbed his chin.

"Voice? What's so special about your voice?"

"I ate a devil fruit that allows anyone to hear my voice feel emotions. It can bring out the best or worst in people."

"Eh, doesn't sound special."

"Baby come back!"

The man said in a voice that wasn't his own, it sounded like a womans. Bob thought the voice was nice, but that was it.

"Hmm. Say this, 'It's a truth that in love and war World's collide and hearts get broken.'"

Bob said as he thought of some lyrics from his past.

"It's a truth that in love and war Worlds collide and hearts get broken."

"No, no, no. More manly."

This process repeated itself a few times, before the five men surrounding the guy got upset.

"Hey! Beat it before I beat you!"

Bob glared at the man.

"Shut up. Can't you see i'm working here? Geez, some people have no patience. Now once more from the top!"

The man was about to sing again, but he was tossed to the floor.

"You think i'm playing with you?"

The large man with the bald head charged at Bob. Bob slapped him hard causing him to fly through the wall. He ended up outside head down in the sand.

His lackey's were looking at Bob strangely but they didn't attack Bob. Instead they ran to see if their boss was alright.

"Thank you! Thank you!"

The man said to Bob as he bowed his head a few times.

Bob patted the man on the shoulder.

"Your voice is magical. How about you come work for me kid. I'll make you famous."

"Kid? Aren't you younger than me?"

"Age is just a number. Now, what do you say?"

"I don't know man. What's in it for me?"

"Girls. Tons and tons of girls! Also, lots of money."

The man's eyes grew big.

"Deal!"

Bob chuckled.

"Attaboy! Come, what's your name?"

"Charles."

The man spoke.

"Charles… charles… I see. I'm Bob Charles, nice to meet you. You ever think about having a singing career?"

"I did, but I can never come up with any songs."

"Not anymore! Leave it all to me!"

Bob couldn't believe what he found. This guys voice was golden. He could change the tone of his voice as he pleased and even bring out the inner emotions in people. This was a god given power.

Bob had to put this guy to use, but for now he shall teach him about the songs he knew.

"We need to find you some bandmates. People that can play different instruments, you just need to sing."

Bob said.

"I know a few. It's my friends, we've known each other since we were kids. However none of us were talented lyricaly."

"Even better! Let me show you where you'll be living for a while. After that we'll buy you equipment and amps. Also big speakers, can't have a concert without those."

Charles was flattered that Bob was doing all this for him, but wasn't it a little too quick?

"Bob, why are you doing this?"

"Hmm? Because, my good sir music makes everything so much better. Imagine a large battle being held, all you would hear is the cries of men and the sound of swords being hit together. With music, you can create an epic battle scene. Music playing in the background while everyone fights! Battles will be so much more invigorating."

"Battles?"

"Ah, forget that part. I just want to see you grow into a superstar Charles. I'd hate to see you and your devil fruit ability go to waste."

"Alright Bob. I'll put my hopes in you, just don't fall in love with me."

"You're good looking, but yours truly looks better. I wouldn't fall for you! Besides, I like females!"

Bob laughed.

He spent a few hours going around with Charles buying different sorts of equipment that he would need for a concert. After they took it to the base, Bob met Charles friends three friends.

He cared less for their names and more so for their talent of playing the instruments. He learned that they were actually talented, which caused him to get excited.

When Bob returned to the base for the last time, John was there.

"John give me a minute or two, then we can be on our way."

Bob said as he gathered up the men.

"Alright, i'll compose you a song. I'll write it down for you, but you have to play it. I need this song perfected in 8 days. So, work hard!"

"Why 8 days? And only one song?"

One of the men asked Bob.

"Because we'll host your debut to the world after 8 days. And yes, only one song. If I give you too many, you might not be able to memorize everything."

"Who do you think we are? We can easily handle more than one song. Give us two or three! If we can't cut it, then we'll work for free!"

One man said.

Bob looked at him and grinned.

"You said it, not me!"

Bob was so excited that he found pen and paper and started writing away. These were songs he always listened to in his past so he would never forget them.

Bob took a whole hour writing down everything, he ended up coming up with two songs for these guys.

"These two are for you guys. If you can get these songs down then you guys will become famous."

Bob left the lyrics to those guys and turned his attention to John.

"Alright John, i'm done with that."

"What is that?"

Bob smirked.

"Its a surprise."

"Right… I'm done with the Barbar pirate group. So we can go meet this Koza now."

"What about their ship?"

Bob asked.

"That sand sailing ship? I left it there, can't use it on sea."

"Have someone retrieve it, I have plans for it."

John looked at Gin.

"Take Rasa and secure the ship."

"Will do Boss."

Bob noticed a female wearing a white blouse on top of a purple shirt. He noticed her appearance and recalled who she was.

He only remembered her because John mentioned the Barbar pirates. If Bob saw her anywhere else without knowing about them he would have never recognized her. She was Rasa the navigator of that crew.
