Chapter 47 - Off Script

Dalton started telling Vivi and Usopp about Blackbeard and his pirate crew. How they came to Drum Island and destroyed a large part of it, while the king Wapol fled.

Bob saw Vivi's body shaking with her fist clenched.

"Is that how a country's king should act!?"

Vivi flared up.

"A king who abandons his people…"

Usopp was shocked by her sudden change.

"Calm down a bit princess."

Bob said in a playful manner.

Vivi's eyes grew wide when she heard Bob call her princess.

"Princess…?"

"It's a saying that's all."

Bob said playing it off like it was nothing.

Bob looked at Dalton.

"Remember what I said, his return will be soon."

Dalton nodded.

"Should I mobilize everyone?"

Bob shrugged his shoulders.

"Do what you want, i'm just letting you know."

Vivi and Usopp were both confused as they were out of the loop.

"He's talking about Wapol. Faceless said that his return was near, and it seems that he is here already."

"Wapol! Just let Luffy blast him away again!"

Usopp said.

"Things aren't going to be that easy."

Dalton agreed with Bob's words.

"Who are you guys anyways? Travelling along the grandline with a crew of 6 but no doctor. Even Faceless here has a doctor amongst his crew."

"We're pirates! Although we are a small crew, as long as the brave warrior of the sea Usopp is with them, there's nothing to fear!"

Usopp said with his arms crossed.

"Doctor? You guys have a doctor?"

Vivi asked as she looked at Bob.

"Something like that."

Bob replied.

"Why didn't you help our friend, Nami?"

"There's a reason for everything. Let's just say i'm doing you a favor."

Bob answered Vivi.

"Why don't you join us, we are looking for a doctor. Hearing that the only doctor on this island is a witch, I fear they won't join us."

Usopp asked Bob to join them.

"Not interested."

"Why? There's nothing to be afraid of. Let me tell you I have 8000 followers under my command. With me leading the way there's nothing for you to be afraid of."

Bob crossed his arms as he stared at Usopp.

"I thought you were a small crew of six?"

"Agh… Um.."

Usopp was caught in his lie.

"Dalton!"

A large woman appeared in front of Dalton and the others.

"Weren't you looking for the doctor?"

"Yes, that's correct. These guys here wanted her to cure their friend."

"She just appeared in Cocoa Weed village."

"She's at the next town over?"

Dalton asked.

The large woman nodded her head.

"You're saying that Luffy and the doctor just missed each other?"

Vivi asked.

"Seems to be that way."

Dalton said.

"We should make haste before she leaves the village."

Dalton suggested as he ran off.

"But she…"

Bob was about to say something but shook his head.

Vivi stared at him for a moment, but she quickly followed after Dalton. Usopp was right next to her.

As soon as they were out of sight, Bob sighed.

"They'll see when they get there, she's already left."

After a few minutes, Bob could hear a voice.

"We've returned!"

"Let the people know their king has returned!"

Bob spotted Wapol and his gang come into town.

Wapol was acting high and mighty, but Bob knew he wasn't much.

"Who are you?"

Wapol was seated on a large white beast. It's appearance was similar to that of a Hippo.

"Me? I'm no one important."

Bob answeed.

"Bow to your king! He has returned!"

Wapol started laughing madly.

"No thanks. How about you head back towards your castle and we just pretend I never saw you?"

"What do you think you're going to do facing all of us?"

Wapol asked Bob.

Bob scratched the back of his head.

"Seriously, just go to your castle, I don't have time for this."

In the manga, Wapol came here and destroyed most of the buildings. However upon seeing Bob Wapol did not do anything as of yet. Bob wanted to protect the buildings and instead wanted Wapol to head to his castle. Once he did that the story would progress.

Sure, Wapol would miss his clash with Dalton.

However, Bob knew Dalton would suffer due to Chess' dirty tricks.

Chess aimed his bow at Bob and pulled the bowstring. Three arrows flew towards Bob.

Bob quickly drew Black Death and cut the arrows like they were nothing.

"The difference in our powers is too large, just go to your castle like a good king."

Wapol wasn't having it and decided to send out the twenty doctors he had under his command.

The doctors held their latex gloves up high and went towards Bob.

'Can't harm them, they can be used.'

Bob told himself.

Bob did not use Black Death to deal with them, instead he used his hands to knock all twenty of the doctors out.

"WAPOL!"

"Crap! He's back already?"

Bob saw Dalton speeding along as he jumped in the air and transformed back into his human form from his bison form. He took out his spade.

"How dare you return to Drum Island?"

He asked Wapol.

"What do you mean? I am the king, naturally I can't leave my people."

Dalton gritted his teeth.

"Faceless i'll deal with Wapol I leave the others to you."

Bob started blinking his eyes multiple times.

"This… this is not supposed to happen!"
