Knock, knock.
Ye Jin heard a gentle knock on the door, waking her up.
"Eldest Miss, may I enter?" a faint voice called from behind the door.
"Yes," Ye Jin replied, her voice groggy.
Her maid entered, bowing slightly before speaking. "Miss, it's time to take your bath. Your parents are awaiting you for breakfast."
Ye Jin groaned softly, reluctant to leave the warmth of her bed, but she eventually sat up. The maid promptly brought warm water and towels, bathing her and, thereafter, dressing her up.
The maid fastened the final pin into Ye Jin's neatly styled hair and stepped back, smiling. "You look lovely, Miss."
"Thank you," Ye Jin replied softly, glancing at her reflection in the polished bronze mirror. "Let's go."
Ye Jin said as she walked out of the room with her maid behind her. Soon after, she reached the dining room.
As Ye Jin entered, she heard Ye Ruan's voice.
