After enjoying themselves, everything came to a close. The girls laughed their hearts out since they enjoyed it.

"I will really miss this."Leila said."After school."

"Yep."Lucy added."Soon we will be finishing university and unfortunately go our separate ways."

"But...We have each other okay guys?"Astha cut her off."Even if we complete school,we can visit one another."

"But.... I'll really miss school days."Leila said.

"We will all miss that and all these."Astha said.

That was until...

"It's late guys. I'm going home."

"Leila."

"You won't stay a bit longer. Besides tomorrow is Saturday."

"No Astha.I have my bed to sleep on. I'll go and get mom okay."

As they chatted, Susan approached them."Hi girls. I'm sure you three enjoyed every bit of today. By the way Leila where is your sister?"

The mention of Kayla's name made Astha create some weird teasing looks.

"I saw her with Kai."She said."And I think they are having a great time together."

'Kai. At this time? Ezra.' It was now making sense. She had to get her or else someone's life might be in danger.

"Mom I'll be back. I'm going to get Kayla and we will all go home after that."

"Hurry it's about to be late."

In a nod Leila excused herself.

"You are something you know?" Kayla said as she walked with Kai around the school.

"Why?"

"I don't know. You are a nice person and I can't believe I'm saying this but you made my birthday a wonderful one."

"Was it because I danced with you?"He asked expecting a reply.

"Well .... yeah."

There was not a word after that. They just walked around until Kai checked time on his phone.

"It's getting late."He said."You must get home and take some rest."

"Dont worry."Kayla gently replied."I'll sleep like never before."

He never knew why but when he was around her,he felt so peaceful. It was as if she was that soothing music to his ears.

But he had some feelings for her but how to tell her was the problem. The question was what she would say or react after that and the answer was always the negative one in mind. But he had to say it to her.

Though they are in the same class and studying the same course, someday they too will finish the course and if he still doesn't tell her about his feelings,she may belong to someone else and that was what he did not want.

He wanted Kayla to be his and his alone and it's possible that today,this evening,may be the perfect time to confess.

"Kayla?"

"Hm?" 

"I need to tell you something but in case it doesn't please you,at least I'm happy that I told you this. The truth is.....the truth is..."

Meanwhile as Leila busily looked for Kayla,she came to a halt when she saw her with Kai. Looking at the romantic scene,she hid at a corner since she did not want to disrupt that.

But when she hid,she saw Ezra at a dark corner staring at them with the darkest gaze he ever had.

And that alone made Leila's heart drop.
