Ning Xi followed Gu Zhen to a huge building where a stylist dressed her up and in the end she looked like a goddess.

"Boss the lady is so beautiful!", The American stylist, Raymond couldn't help but compliment.

Gu Zhen glanced at Ning Xi and he felt very proud, that was his girl.

Ning Rou was dressed in a blue gown embedded with expensive jewels, the gown was one of the latest in town from Chanel.

Her hair had been styled beautifully and her makeup was also perfect, she looked like a bride going to get married.

Shu Man was waiting outside dressed in neatly ironed black suit and pants, he looked like the ladies man, a real gentleman.

Ning Rou stepped out and the moment he cast his eyes upon her he felt like telling the whole world that she was his girlfriend.

"Brother Shu... how do I look?", Ning Rou twirled around.

"You look so beautiful that no one else can compare to your beauty tonight", Shu Man bowed like a gentleman and took her hand into his.

The moment Ning Rou arrived at the event she saw a huge group of reporters flashing their lights at the women passing by, the moment the reporters saw her they fled to her.

"Miss Ning looks so beautiful tonight", one male reporter could not help but blush.

"Miss Ning how do you feel like being engaged to one of the nation's most handsome gentleman?", a reporter asked.

"I feel like I've never been good enough for Brother Shu however love knows no bounds, I love him dearly with all my heart!", Ning Rou tightened her grip on Shu Man's hand.

"Miss Ning don't you think you're breaking the nation's heart by saying this? Everyone knows you're the nation's goddess"

"Oh I'd choose Shu Man over everything else but I want everyone else to know that I love them too!", Ning Rou smiled warmly into the camera.

"Damn it who's that?", one reporter exclaimed and almost dropped his stuffs as his jaws flew wide open.

"Oh my goodness! This is happening!", the other reporters were shocked and started flashing their cameras continuously.

Ning Rou looked over and upon seeing who it was she almost became weak.

'How... how can it be?'

Ning Xi walked over confidently, her arms around Tan Yu's.

All the reporters rushed over to her leaving Ning Rou speechless.

"Young master Tan? Who's this pretty lady besides you?", one reporter asked curiously as he sized up Ning Xi up and down.

"Oh she's my classmate and also my partner for tonight's event", Tan Yu took off his sunglasses and winked at all the reporters.

"Miss which brand's gown is this? It looks so marvelous!", A female reporter asked.

"Oh this? It's the latest from Dior, it's called 'comeback' ", Ning Xi looked over to Ning Rou and smiled.

"Miss may we know your name? You don't seem familiar"

"Oh my name? I'm Ning Xi!", Ning Xi smiled once more, things would start to get exciting soon.

Ning Rou started to tremble, what was Ning Xi up to?

How did Ning Xi receive an invitation card and where did she get all these expensive stuffs from? even the Ning family could not afford it.

"Oh what a coincidence, you're Miss Ning Xi? By chance are you and Miss Ning Rou related?"

"Oh that's right, she's actually my sister!", Ning Xi replied.

Ning Rou's eyes widened at this moment, what did Ning Xi think she was doing?

There was suddenly whispers amongst the reporters.

Ning Shua and Lin Yua realized that something was wrong and immediately rushed over, they saw Ning Xi dressed up and surrounded by a huge crowd of reporters.

"Dad! Mom! Do something! Ning Xi has told the reporters that we're related!", Ning Rou immediately rushed to her parents.

"What? That b*tch!", Ning Shua almost lost his cool.

"What? The Ning family has another daughter? How come we never knew?"

"The Ning's family second daughter? This is big news!"

"Why did they hide the child? Something is definitely wrong!"

"Miss Ning why were you hidden from the public? Is it because you're a child born out of wedlock?"

"No! I'll explain everything, Xixi is my adopted daughter, we adopted her a few years ago after seeing her roaming on the streets however we did not tell the public since she didn't want anyone to know!", Ning Shua stepped forward and lied without even blinking an eye.

Ning Xi smiled, she knew the Ning family would definitely come out with something else and indeed they had not disappointed her.

"Miss Ning, how do you feel after being adopted by the Ning family? After being taken from the streets and being cared for, are you grateful to them?"

"That's right, I'm indeed very grateful to them for this opportunity!", Ning Xi took a low bow to the Ning family.
