0003 - Day... Oh god it has been so long...

S: Haha... I'm back... Hahaha.... I'm sorry please don't hate me ;.;

O: It's alright. I had no expectations from you anyways. *Inserts "Our expectations were low meme"*

S: Ha... err.... Well anyways... I haven't really written in a while but my brain keeps on thinking about stories and continuations of stories that I should be writing out instead of imagining only...

O: It's okay. We weren't expecting much anyways.

S: Fk you. Why do I even include you in this part of this log any ways? Why did I find it funny?

O: Because it is.

S: Fk you.

O: Ha, you wish you could you virgin.

S: ...

O: Anyways, we are off topic. You finally wrote something after a long time didn't you? And you wanted to share it with the one person that had this in his/her collection right?

S: Maybe.

O: Yes, you do. And what was it about?

S: Not... about... my main 2 projects...

O: Good. Then what is it about?

S: ... Something... new...

O: Sigh... Basically, S has been slacking off and has been binging a bunch of manga and anime for a long time and has not been able to write because of that.

S: No comment.

O: S has also been playing a lot of games instead of writing.

S: Aye! The Ozma update on dfo was worth it- I mean... No comment.

O: You have anything to say?

S: N- No...

O: Good. Now isn't it time to share some of the thing you have been writing?

S: Yes...

---------------

S: So I've been reading a lot of mangas where the "Hero" party would kick out a "useless" member of the party because he/she was being "dead weight". I wanted to put a bit of a twist on that whole scenario and instead of the hero party kicking out the "dead weight" out of the party because he/she is useless, this time, the hero party is trying to protect their last hope that can save them in the future from the current trials that they must go through.

O: Sounds pretty cliché...

S: Shut it.

S: The story follows the white mage from the hero party named "Hope". She is a great white mage that joined the hero party which currently consists of 4 other members: The hero Agnus, the berserker Tania, the vanguard Gilbert, and the elemental mage Arna.

O: Pretty cliché names.

S: Shut up... seriously... I'm trying to

O: You telling me to shut up is pretty cliché too. Honestly, think of some original st-

S: *Mutes O and kicks O out of the dimension.*

S: Ah- Silence at last. Where was I? Right. The hero party and Hope. So Hope is a white mage, she specializes in healing and dealing holy damage to the enemy which are known as the "demons".

O: *pops in with a sign saying "Cliché as Fuck!" and pops back out*

S: And because the holy arts is one of the Demon's main weaknesses, the demon army decided to grant all the demons that fight in the army anti-holy armor which basically negates or resists holy damage. This basically reduces Hope's usefulness in the party. Because of this "reason", the hero party decided to "kick" Hope out as a means to protect and hide her because of a bad feeling that they had.

O:*pops in with a sign saying " SUPER Cliché as Fuck!" and pops back out*

S: Either way, saying more might be a potential spoiler of the twists I thought of for the plot so I won't really go into much detail and give you the snip I wrote. This small part which kinda happened to turn into chapter 0 of the story is the beginning of the a potential project I might work on in the future. I hope you enjoy it

O: Word of caution if you are reading this, the script was not edited nor really read through so it is in its raw state and is still in a WIP if S does ever pick it up.

S: WTF! HTF DID U GET BACK!

------------

S: Chapter 0? IDK i didn't think of a title yet. Maybe "The Last White Mage"~

O: Sounds too edgy. And also Cliché.

S: Listen here you little shit!

~ Chapter 0 ~

"We don't need you. Get lost." The hero Agnus says to a young looking girl in white robes.

"What… What do you mean…" The white mage says with a pain in her voice. Her tearful eyes look up at the hero who she traveled with for the past 4 years.

"G- guys… Please… This can't be true…" Her voice wavers as she tries to approach the rest of the party. Their cold gaze pierce her confidence as she struggles to muster out her next plea. "Gilbret…?" She manages to ask out in a sobbing tone.

A man in heavy armor sighs as he looks up at the pleading girl who called his name. "Honestly… I don't want to do this… But. Agnus is right. We have no need for you here." The white mages looks at him in shock and disbelief. Gilbert was always there for her and always defended her when times got rough. He was so nice and yet he was capable of saying such sharp words.

"Gilbert- I- What do-"

"Give it up, Hope." A girl with a heavy sword says.

"Tania?"

"There is just nothing you can help us with right now." Tania bluntly says. "Most of the demons that we face wear holy resistance armor anyways so it's not like you can even harm them."

"Let's be real, Hope. You have no use for us here." A man in blue robes says.

"Arna?" How could the mage Arna say such cruel words to Hope? How could he, the one that treats her like a little sister, cut her so deep with his cold words. He who helped her improve her magic… Her magic… right. Her magic was useless for them. They would rather use potions rather than her magic.

Hope curls her hands to a fist not from anger, but disappointment towards herself. She knew she was nothing but a burden to the party yet they kept her with them for so long. Even when her white magic was pointless in battle, even if she can do nothing but contribute by doing household work for them, she still wanted to be with them. For four years they built their relationship from the ground up, the days where they traveled together, laughed together, drank together, survived together… the days they cried together… The day when Agnus first approached Hope as a complete stranger, explaining to her his vision of the future they will have together to the day when they shared themselves together… and finally the day when he grabs her by the collar.

Agnus clenches the collar of the white mage's robe tightly, lifting her up to her feet. "Don't make me repeat myself, Hope."

"Ah… Why are you doing this to me-" The hero throws her to the ground and looks down at her with his fierce eyes. His eyes bubble with a furious rage as he looks at the very hand that threw Hope.

"You are useless to us. You are nothing but dead weight to our party! What have you done to contribute to the group!" He bursts out with his mendacious rage. "Don't make this difficult for us and just leave." He says with a crack in his voice before turning around.

"Wait- Please don't do this! I'll be better! I'll help out more! I'll do all the chores-" The hero punches the wall, breaking it into brilliant pieces. The cold air from outside rushes in and the ruthless rain leaks into the tavern.

"You are weak- Pathetic! There is nothing you can do right now! SO JUST LEAVE!" He grits his teeth and stomps back to the rest of the party. Hope looks at the rest of the group for something but they look at her back with expressionless eyes. "Let's leave." Agnus says and the rest of the group follows. They pass the pitiful white mage without giving her a second glance or pity or guilt.

The tavern owner rushes over to the new hole in the wall and flips out. He rushes over to the party that is now waiting at the front desk of the tavern. The owner throws a fit before the hero tosses a pouch of gold coins towards the owner. They exchange a few words before the hero gives one final glare at the owner and says a few words before stepping out into the cold rainy night.

Agnus steps into the rain and lets the unforgiving water bombard his face. The cold wet droplets roll down his chin, taking in a deep breath of the cold glassy air.

"You made the right choice, Agnus." Arna says as he places his hand on the hero's shoulder. The rain drips down his face as well.

"Come on how you sassy pants!" Tania says as she locks both of them in her arms. "We all agreed on this." She lets out a hopelessly foolish smile as she looks up at the dull dark clouds.

"Yes. We all agreed that it was for the best." Gilbert steps out with his helmet on, the rain already rolling down his muscular double chin.

"Ya… it's for the best." Agnus replies, his eyes covered with darkness. He puts his hand out into the rain, letting the careless cries of the heaven's drench him entirely. "Ha… Even the heaven's cry out in rage…"

"Hey-a lady, how long a ya plannin a stay?" The owner of the tavern says as she shouts up to the second floor. "Jeez, it-a been a week already! Ya gonna bleed me dry." The owner goes up the stairs to the rooms that the adventures can rent out. He goes to the second door before knocking on it gently. "Hey-a lady?" He pushes the door open to find Hope curled up in a ball in the bed with a barely touched food next to the bed. Her long and silky jet black hair covers her soft face.

"Ah! Now-a ya just wastin ma food!" The owner sets down a plate of new food and rushes over to the bed. "Risein shine, lady!" The owner quickly pulls Hope up from the bed and claps both her cheeks with his rough but gentle hands. "Listn lady. Forget bout the damn party that left ya! Forget bout the damn hero. Youa beautiful! I would-a lay ma hands on you but I value ma life so I wouldn' dare. But-a lady, ya gotta move on." The man tilts her head up and brushes the damp hair from her face, revealing her black eyes red and puffy from all the tears they shed.

"Cheer up lady. Now-a. Say Ah~." Hope avoids the spoon full of food and buries her face into the damp pillow. "Hey-a lady… Ima revoke youa bath rights if ya don't eat this food I made fo' ya." Upon hearing this, Hope sulks up from the bed with her hair covering just her eyes. She opens her mouth but hesitates a moment. "Aite. No moar bath-" She quickly opens her mouth and the owner can't help but grin a bit with her childish antics. "There ya go. Make-a sure you chew and swallow properly." He warmly pats her on the head like he would with a little child before getting up from the bed.

Ya gotta stay strong, aite? Don' be crin' bout the past all day." He sets the tray down next to the bed while cleaning up the previous plate. As he steps towards the door, the owner remembers something important other than making sure she is fed well. "Oh ya. Ya gotta visitar downstairs. Make-a sure ya clean up a bit 'fore comin down, aite?" Hope nods her head just enough for the gentle man to leave.

As soon as the door closes, Hope collapses back into her bed. Her hands trace the top of her head where the man petted her. That feeling of warmth radiating from that area was so familiar… too familiar that it hurt to remember the comfort… to remember its hollow memories. Tears roll down her already red eyes as she curls herself into her own comfort to not let the coldness into her already broken heart. If only she was useful. If only she was a mage like Arna. If only she knew how to wield a sword or a shield like Tania and Gilbert. If only she was as strong as Agnus… If only she was strong enough to heal… ah… Lily… how could she forget… The memories of the adventures, trials and pain the party experienced together. Their closest memories to their darkest moments. Their failures and successes that they carried together. Those cursed memories that bring back the agony of the past like a ghost, haunting her till the end of her life. Even though it is bitter and traumatizing, Hope let the past haunt her for the memories of happiness it holds with them. She let the vast sea carry her into the pain filled dream where she was still with them. Where she was still with Agnus, where his warm and caring touch still remained. A pleasant yet heart aching dream…

"Hey, Hope. Wake up." A gentle hand shakes her gently. Her heavy eyes open to cruel reality where the party abandoned her and the reality where she is useless. Tears well up in her eyes once again but she quickly wipes it away. Hope looks up at the one who awoke her to find a young pleasant man radiating a bright smile towards her. "It has been a while hasn't it Hope…" His voice is genuine with care with a tang of guilt. His golden locks cover his bright blue eyes and droplets of water roll down his cheeks. "I am sorry that I am so late…" He embraces her in his soft comforting arms. "But, I am here for you now."

S: I am sorry of the Tavern Owner's Dialogue was hard to read. I wanted to give him a bit of an accent/dialect. And since this is only a short bit of the story that I imagined, it doesn't really showcase where the story will be heading towards.

O?: Hey, I'm from the future.

S: Tf?

Future O: I come to tell the people what the plot is going to be about!

S: WHAT NO!!

Future O: Without spoilers.

S: Hey- You... fine... Go ahead.

Future O: Think of the plot like dark edgy fantasy vibe with some tokyo ghoul type of character development with some "mature" scenes in between. Something like D. Gray man and tokyo ghoul but its a fantasy/ ye olden days kinda thing with knights and stuff.

S: Wow... very helpful.

O: Better than your upload schedule.

S: Low blow... and also fk you.

Future O & O: Ha! You wish you virgin.
