HOMESICK

Tristan came out of Haruna's room and closed the door.

"He's not sick, is he? Why has he been so considerate since he came from work today?" Haruna muttered. Haruna couldn't understand what was going on with Tristan. Today it wasn't only Haruna who felt Tristan was weird. Tristan himself did not understand himself.

Bruum!

Haruna immediately ran to the bedroom window when she heard the sound of a car engine roaring. She saw Tristan's car coming out of the gate at high speed.

"Where is he going at this time of night? Ah, I forgot. He can't sleep without sleeping with women. Heh, he must have gone looking for women at night," Haruna sneered.

Haruna opened the window and looked up at the very dark sky at night. There is no moon or stars in the sky. Haruna only felt the night breeze that penetrated her skin. She stared at the streets of the elite housing complex with a dazed look.

"I really miss mom, dad, Vivi, and Kia. Sob… sob." Haruna wept bitterly, she really wanted to go home. However, what can she do, Haruna's body is restrained in Tristan's grip.

Hearing Haruna's cry, the two bodyguards who were guarding under the window of Haruna's room were immediately alert. They were worried that Haruna would jump out of the window. However, until some time had passed, they finally breathed a sigh of relief because Haruna was just sitting and crying on the balcony.

Knock! Knock! Knock!

"Come in!" Haruna wiped her tears. She knew it must not be Tristan because Haruna had not seen Tristan's car since.

"Miss, haven't you slept yet? Here, I brought you warm chocolate milk. According to your friend, warm chocolate milk can help improve a bad mood. Drink it while it's warm!" The butler handed her a glass of warm chocolate milk and waited for Haruna to finish her milk.

Haruna drank it all down, after it was finished, Haruna gave her empty glass to the butler.

"Thank you, ma'am. Em, may I know your name?" Haruna asked while trying to stand up, but Haruna's legs were numb and she almost fell. Luckily the butler was holding her, so Haruna didn't fall.

"Here, they usually call me Senior Sin. You can also call Mrs. Sin if you want," answered Sinta. She carried Haruna to the bed and helped cover her.

"Mrs. Shin, your hug is the same as my mother's hug. Thank you Miss, for paying attention to me." Haruna took a deep breath before continuing her words. For some reason, hee chest felt tight like she wanted to cry. "I feel calm when … Mom hugs me." Haruna's voice caught in her throat, with all her heart, Haruna held back her tears. Her eyes glazed over at the shady face of Mrs. Sin. Just looking at her face, Haruna felt very close to her.

"I'm happy when you feels like that. Miss, do you know? Mr. Tristan really cares about Mrs. Haruna. Previously, there was never a woman that Mr. Tristan cared about none other than Mrs. Stevi, the person who watered Miss this afternoon," said Sinta.

"Mrs. Sin, I'm tired. Can you leave me," said Haruna, interrupting Sinta's conversation. She did not want to know the story of Tristan and Stevi. Especially if the matter was about Tristan, Haruna didn't want to know anymore. She ordered Sinta to leave her in a soft voice. She was afraid that Mrs. Sin would be offended by her words. Haruna is also very sleepy and wants to rest.

"Yes Miss, sleep and rest. If you feel bored in the room all day, you can find me in the kitchen. Please excuse me, good night."

"Good night, Mrs. Sin," replied Haruna.

Sinta left Haruna's room and entered her room in the side pavilion. All the servants stayed and rested there. The pavilion had ten bedrooms with two servants in each room. Sinta shares a room with Kiki, a Bandung father who migrated to Jakarta and works at Tristan's house. Kiki has worked for a year, while Sinta has worked for the Izham family for decades. In the past, Sinta worked for Edi, Tristan's grandfather. Since five years ago, Tristan left his grandfather's house and lived in the house he is currently occupying. Sinta was sent by Edi to move in with Tristan.

Early in the morning, Tristan returns home. The first place he went was Haruna's room. Ever since the night Haruna tried to commit suicide, Tristan had let go of Haruna's room key. Haruna's room now cannot be locked and can only be closed. Tristan also removed the slot lock attached to the inside of the bedroom door so that Haruna wouldn't lock the door. Tristan was afraid that Haruna would lock herself in her room and do things.

Tristan walked slowly. Step by step with raging feelings, Tristan approached the bed and stood at the foot of the bed. He looked at Haruna's face which still looked pale. Tristan then sat on the edge of the bed, he brushed away the hair that was covering Haruna's eyes.

"Is it true that I've fallen in love with you, Haruna. Maybe you are the medicine for my broken heart," Tristan muttered with bloodshot eyes and a mouth that reeked of alcohol. Tristan goes to a nightclub and calls Levi. Levi is not only an assistant, but also his best friend.

Tristan kissed Haruna's forehead thin and soft. He returned to his room and lay down feeling tired. He recalled the conversation he had with Levi at the club last night.

"What's wrong? You're interrupting my rest," Levi sneered. He sat down next to Tristan who had already drunk two glasses of red wine.

"Your words are very harsh when outside of work hours. I want to ask you something," said Tristan with a very confused face. His hair was a mess from being kneaded in frustration. The tie is also not properly attached. He is very stressed today.

"Say! What's wrong?" asked Levi, taking a sip of the soft drink he ordered. Levi never drank alcohol, he had to stay alert to take Tristan who might be drunk when he came out of the nightclub.

"Stevi, she… came to the house and met Haruna. They had a fight and Stevi strangled Haruna. I should be happy, right? But, why do I feel angry, hurt, and sorry for Haruna. I don't know what kind of feeling this is," said Tristan. He took another gulp of red wine in one gulp.

"I think you might fall in love with her," Levi replied calmly.

"Huh? You're kidding. I locked Haruna in my house because I wanted to take revenge and torture her. It's impossible for me to fall in love," Tristan denies confidently.

"Well, I'm just expressing my opinion. If you don't feel like it, then just ignore mine!" said Levi again while glancing at Tristan's face. It was clear from Tristan's face, that in fact he wasn't sure about the answer either. Levi smiled slightly and took another sip of his drink.
