Sofie, the fairest maiden I have ever beheld, consumes my every waking thought. The Helmut family has taken residence in the nearby manor, long abandoned before their arrival. Their only daughter, Sofie, has captured my heart with her uncommon tresses of silver, a sight of such rarity unseen in any other people.
Although the Helmut couple bear a rough demeanor, Sofie herself is a vision of grace, demure and gentle in her speech. I find myself often sauntering past the manor, seeking but a fleeting glimpse of her ethereal presence.
On occasion, I muster the courage to approach and greet her, yet my tongue betrays me, leaving me naught but a peculiar smile before I retreat in haste. It is my deepest fear that she perceives me as a peculiar stranger.
