50. Gender exposed 7

Ji Xinglu ran out while sobbing. But now no one pitied her after seeing her cruel side.

Mo Ling turned and met eyes with Bi Ruixi who's looking at her with grateful eyes filled with tears.

She felt her forehead in resignation. Then she took the sour candy which Xue Lili placed on her desk and gave it to the girl.

"Brother Mo.." Bi Ruixi's voice was choked up.

"Go to your class." Mo Ling sat in her seat and waved her hand. Then she layed on her desk to take a nap.

Since she was busy the whole night, she felt sleepy now.

When Bi Ruixi saw the dark eye circles under the boy's eyes and saw that he laid on the desk to sleep, she didn't continue her words.

"Ok. Brother Mo I'll come and find you after school." She obediently left after saying that while clutching the candy in the palm tightly.

She felt so warm inside when she saw the boy standing up for her again.

The familial love she always anticipated coming from her parents came from the boy she hated the most previously.

She felt ashamed of herself and also determined to make up for her mistakes.

He Xu was observing Mo Ling the whole time since the boy started talking to Ji Xinglu.

He was surprised after he felt the aura radiating from the boy and also at the composed temperament throughout the whole ordeal.

Almost most of the time he was indifferent towards everything. He knew that Ji Xinglu wanted to suck up to him. He was also indifferent towards his cousin and just spectated on the sidelines like watching a show.

But the boy who's sleeping before him piqued his interest. He wanted to see more of the boy.

'This boy is not ordinary.. interesting..'

Mo Ling slept throughout classes till the afternoon break.

The teachers didn't mind her sleeping in the classes since she's the most well behaved student and the most intelligent of the whole level.

After taking a good nap Mo Ling lifted her head and turned to see the lowered head of the girl beside her.

"Do you have another candy?" Her sleepy voice rang in Xue Lili's ears. She took another candy out from her bag and placed it on the desk without lifting her head.

She calmly took it and popped it in her mouth. The sour and sweet taste quickly spread in her mouth sweeping the sleepiness away from her head.

She stood up and left to have some lunch in the school cafeteria.

But when she reached the entrance of the cafeteria, she saw a familiar figure standing there with a lunch box in his hands.

The students who's going to eat at the cafeteria paused for a few steps and took a look at the foreigner guy.

Most of the girls looked at him with red and shy faces while boy's looked at him with envy.

Kevin stood proudly receiving the attention from all the sides. When he saw the boy standing some distance away he waved his free hand grinning from ear to ear.

"What are you doing here?" After Mo Ling walked over she asked with a straight face.

"Han asked me to bring home cooked light food since you're sick. Also I'm free and bored alone in the house." Kevin waved the lunch box in his hand and said with a smile.

What he didn't say is that he wanted to observe the kid to prove his guess as soon  as possible. Otherwise he can't eat his food in peace and can't sleep in peace.

Then he looked at the quiet girl and an indifferent boy following behind the kid.

"Your friends? How nice. Let's have lunch together."

Seeing his enthusiasm Mo Ling felt her forehead in frustration and took a deep breath.

Also.. the quiet girl Xue Lili and the indifferent boy He Xu who is behind her.. why aren't they denying being friends with her?

She shot a look at them and calmly entered the cafeteria.
