41. Tracking chips

When Snow left with Seven and Lee, Mo Ling turned and asked Reaper while staring at the raging flames devouring the chemical factory.

"What happened?"

"Your Highness, they tracked Snow's chip."

He didn't have to elaborate. She knew what this meant.

"Someone jumped ship." The aura around her turned sinister.

Only the members of the Scarlet army know about the tracking chips installed in their bodies.

The enemy tracking Snow's chip meant that the remaining alive members of the Scarlet army were trackable and they are in danger right now.

She didn't know how many got caught or how many were being hunted or dead.

When she thought about the precarious position they were in the murderous intent intensified in her eyes.

"Your chips.."

"We destroyed them after that ambush. We didn't dare to reach out to the others."

She nodded. Previously when she went to save Snow she tracked her chip.

If any member of the Scarlet army is in danger, they can send out the signal by applying pressure on the spot where the chip was installed.

When Snow was being tortured, Bill accidentally hit the spot where the chip was. So she knew.

But now..

"I'll see to it. Now go and tend to your wounds. Go and move to this address tomorrow evening." 

She mentioned the address and went on her way to her home.

It's been three hours since she left home.

Her phone rang when she walked off for a distance. She glanced at it and saw that Bi Yuhan is calling her.

'Oh no.. she got caught..' she felt her head in frustration and accepted the call.

After Bi Yuhan finished his dinner he went to his study to continue his work.

He's receiving reports about the whereabouts of the kid from time to time.

He sent his exclusive bodyguard to tail the kid. He just wanted to ensure his safety.

He just had this impulse to know where he's going when he saw the change in the expression of the boy when he's at the dinner table.

An hour after the kid went out, his bodyguard reported that they were at a chemical factory which is in the outskirts of the capital.

He wouldn't interfere with what the kid is up to unless it comprises his safety.

It's been almost three hours, when he was in the middle of work, he received a call from Wolf, his bodyguard.

"Sir, the factory exploded. Young Master Mo went inside before the explosion happened." Wolf's out of breath voice sounded from the other side of the call.

Bi Yuhan's mind buzzed when he heard the words. 

He stood up instantly and rushed outside without even changing his home slippers.

He continuously called Mo Ling's number till he reached the car.

Cold sweat formed on his forehead. He clutched the car handle tightly and was ready to get in when the call got connected.

"Where are you?" His voice was filled with unconcealed worry.
