Rune master

'hehehe, great! I already wanted to kill it. Now that I will win something in return for it, it was like a cherry on top.'

'The question now is how am I going to kill it? My powers are not strong enough' Jackson pondered as he gazed at his wooden sword which was split in two by the wolf.

'I know! How could I forget that!?'

Jackson remembered the role of one of his talents, Rune Master.

This talent was a perfect match for other classes like Master Craftsman, Blacksmith, Master in Matrix.

But despite the synergy with the other talents, the Rune Master was quite distinguished in function compared to the other.

This was a strengthening talent unlike the other three that were building.

A good example would be, a Blacksmith created a sword, the Runemaster could sharpen it or even enhance it with special effects.

While an artisan could add a bolstering effect on the soul and in creating a bed, the soul would be fortified while the individual slept.

If it was a Formation Master, by creating a Qi collection formation he could insert runes into it and make it accumulate faster and more thoroughly.

For these reasons alone, the importance of RuneMaster could be seen.

Jackson then made a new wooden sword but this time he didn't use any wood, he utilized a Willow trunk.

After shaping the trunk and turning it into a sword, he began to apply the runes.

As Jackson did not have the specific materials for the job, he used his own blood.

The first rune was the stiffness. During the fight with the wolf, he almost had a problem with the durability of the sword, he could not let that happen again.

He was lucky that the sword only broke at the end of the battle, if it had been before then he would have been in serious trouble.

The second rune was penetration. This was also a predicament during the battle. Jackson could not hurt the wolf which nearly caused his demise.

When he was done, Jackson went to a tree to test the new sword.

By applying a horizontal cut, the tree was cut in two, he did not feel the slightest resistance, it was like cutting butter.

'The sword is good but that's not enough. I need to prepare myself more.'

After some thought, he had an idea.

He took a log and a vine. A while later, he finished making a recurve bow.

Jackson also made ten arrows.

In the bow, he inserted precision rune to not miss the target and sight rune to see from afar and in the arrows he inscribed penetration and strength runes.

Jackson then went to examine.

'I believe that my limit is 20 meters but with vision and precision in the bow, I can reach 50 meters.'

He then positioned himself at 50 meters and shot the arrow.

It went with absurd speed because of the rune of strength, while striking the tree the arrow went through it like nothing.

'Not bad but still not sufficient.'

Jackson was determined to not make any mistakes.

He knew that currently, he was well prepared but he did not want to underestimate his opponent.

Jackson then went into the forest to look for plants that might be useful in fighting the wolf.

After gathering various fruits, he began to think of the possible items he could create with these materials.

He was reflecting the possibilities in his head when an idea appeared in his mind.

'I know! If I can do that, my victory will be more than guaranteed.'
