Chapter 1: The beginning of the end.

Earth, Country A, in Bing city there was a middle aged man reading through a research that he has been conducting for years, a study that can prove a fact, a fact that no one ever known or thought of.

After going through his papers, he put it down on his table and took a seat.

He massaged his forehead and close his eyes, facing the ceiling.

"Finally a lead, perhaps a break through to a higher form of elements, or perhaps a clarification of the thing that we all see but over looked its profoundness."

The middle aged man, Yin Ping, opened his shiny eyes that does not reflect his age of 55 at all, his eyes shine with excitment, the excitment of finding what he has been always suspicious of.

"According to world historical records, millions of years ago, a meteor fell from outer space that caused the world to enter its Ice Age, that lasted more than 2 million years! Thats more than an entire of 2 million years of absolute zero or perhaps more..

Study shows that the meteor hit the southern part of the planet. After long research and excavating, I have finally found it" Yin Ping eyes were shining ever so brightly as he was staring intently at the shiny fist sized purple stone, that is constantly emitting weak coldness and electrical sparks, it looks mesmerizing.

Yin Ping studies the stone, or more appropriate to call it, Purple Crystal for 5 years to find its secrets.

He can feel it, he is getting close to figuring out what fascinating secrets it holds.

All of the sudden, as Yin Ping was staring at the Purple Crystal, his office door was burst open.

A group of armed men wearing black suits rushed in and aimed their guns at Yin Ping.

Yin Ping was shocked, he stood up immediately and put the Purple Crystal into his inner pocket, right by his heart.

He turned back to only to see himself surrounded with mailcious people, leading them a man in his thirties, he had a small grin on his face as he was seizing up Yin Ping.

"Who are you people?! What do you want?!" Shouted the nervous Yin Ping.

The leader chuckled "Master says thank you for your hard work" signaling to his followers.

Yin Ping instantly knew who he was talking about, his expression drastically changed, he tried to turn around and jump out of the window, however...

There is no way a 55 years old researcher can act like Tom Cruise.

Being shot, he was extremely unwilling to die just as he was close to finding the truth!

Unfortunately, this was his cruel reality.
