Primitive Man

A merciless and unforgiving world where a common cold could kill you, a world where survival of the fittest applied— A world where humans aren't at the top of the food chain. A world where the roar of predators echoes through the wilderness, and the threat of being hunted lingers around every corner. A world where the natural elements are both beautiful and deadly, with raging storms and scorching heat waves that can wipe out entire communities. Every day is a battle for survival, with individuals and groups fighting tooth and nail to secure food, shelter, and water. The weak and vulnerable are often left behind, their fate sealed by the brutal law of the jungle. And in this same age, same jungle there was a young boy, whose fate changed when he heard an unknown voice in his head. Garnt woke up feeling a little better after he was on the verge of death because of a single wound he suffered from hunting, and the first thing he noticed was that everything around him looked foreign to him, even though the cave he was lying in was supposed to be his home. While he was unconscious from the injuries, Garnt saw several things he couldn't even understand. He saw people using brick-like equipment to communicate with each other and flying monsters that happily served humans by taking them inside their bodies. A bizarre world where everyone covered their bodies. He saw giant structures that stood even taller than the largest caves he had seen and suddenly a voice questioned his mind about what he witnessed. [Why do these waters look muddy? Why don't you filter them?] What are you talking about? This is how they are supposed to look.  [Why are these weapons so blunt?] They are sharp enough for me. [Where are your clothes, Don't you get cold?] What are clothes, I don't know. [Why do men and women look like they don't feel anything while having sex? Wasn't it supposed to be romantic and sensual?] What do you mean? It is just an activity for procreation. After witnessing such a world, Garnt felt like they were missing something important. His current status looked like a living hell when he compared it with the vision he had. But was that vision real? Does something like that really exist? [Yes, it exists. Do you want to see that world? I will help you, but in exchange, you should make my dream come true.] ————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————————— Author's Note: —This story has R-18 elements to it, but no netorare (NTR) —This story doesn't follow the real evolution process from the Pre-historic period and there are some added fantasy elements since this is a work of fiction. The crackling bonfire illuminated the night with its warm, flickering glow. The scent of roasted meat filled the air, mingling with laughter and stories. Among the group were Garnt, his mother Gundo, and his aunt Ayra and her daughter Kara.

As they all sat on logs arranged in a circle, passing around skewers of deliciously cooked meat with seasoning that Garnt managed to buy as the upgrade of his trade system, but still Garnt couldn't shake off the feeling of embarrassment that seemed to cling to him. He kept stealing glances at his mother and aunt, trying to act as if everything was normal, but his cheeks still flushed with a red hue.

[This is awkward.]

Eva felt how absurd this situation would be if this happened to her. She knew she wouldn't be able to come out of her room for at least a week if this happened to her when she was a teenager. Even though, Eva acted like a tough and serious woman, she had a lot of knowledge about cultured stuff thanks to her friends back in high school.

Being born into a highly prestigious family, she had to go to extra lengths just to read a simple erotica novel, so she had some sympathy with Garnt, who was discovering new things about his life.

But the awkward situation didn't last long, as Gundo suddenly dropped a massive bomb on Garnt's head, as she announced what happened earlier in front of everyone without any hesitation.

"Ayra looks like Garnt can now mate with a partner," It was a simple sentence, but Garnt felt a shock running throughout his whole body, as soon as he heard those words.

"What do you mean?" Ayra asked with a confused look and Kara also looked confused.

"Earlier, he was trying to mate looking at you bathing. He reached that age after all, I'm so proud. We should find him a good partner,"

Ayra looked at Garnt with her eyes opened widely, but then a smile came to her face as she nodded her face.

"That's a piece of great news, we will find him a girl. He has the charm to be a good mate,"

Eva was confused a little by their reaction, but then she understood the difference between her sense of morals and their lack of morals. They didn't even view sexual activities as something fun or lovely, instead most of them just saw it as a method to carry on their generations.

Garnt being affected by Eva's memory started to think like a modern-day individual, so he felt the shame and almost everything someone from Eva's era would feel.

[Looks like you have a lot to teach them.]

Eva said with a grin on her face knowing he was going to have a huge harem in future, but she didn't know at that time, that Garnt would surpass her expectations and do the most insane things. But it all just started with one innocent request from the boy, who experienced puberty for the first time.

"Eva, can you teach me about this adult stuff? I want to know everything, please."

At first, Eva refused to do that, but seeing his eyes and knowing that they were going to be bound together for most of the time, she decided that it would be for the greater good, so she started to teach him about things she learnt from the cultured media she consumed in the past.

Garnt and Ayra pushed their cart further into the wilderness, leaving behind the area where they had bravely hunted down the wild primal bulls. The rustling leaves and distant calls of birds filled the air as they sought out new types of animals to add to their collection. As they ventured deeper, a strange feeling tugged at Garnt's memory.

"Hey, Ayra," Garnt whispered urgently, tugging at her hand. "Look over there, by those bushes."

Ayra followed Garnt's gaze and saw what had caught his attention – two children, a boy and a girl with black hair, sitting by the edge of a clearing. Their appearance stirred a sense of familiarity in Garnt's heart.

"Those kids... They look familiar," Garnt murmured, his brows furrowing in deep thought.

Ayra crouched down beside him, narrowing her eyes at the children. "You're right, Garnt. I think I've seen them before too."

As they watched from their hidden spot, the children's actions became clearer. The boy and girl were engrossed in their discovery – a pile of freshly picked fruits. Their eyes shone with greed as they hungrily devoured the fruits, savouring each bite as if it were their last. It would have been really pitiful if this was originally Eva's era, but Garnt knew this was what most people were supposed to be like in his era.

Garnt's eyes widened as the puzzle pieces fell into place. "I remember now! Those are the kids we saw that day when we went hunting. The man was using them as bait to lure the beasts."

Ayra's jaw tightened in anger as she remembered the heartless act. "You're right, Garnt. These poor kids were nearly sacrificed for that man's selfish gain."

Fearful that they might be discovered and out of concern for the children's safety, Garnt leaned in closer to Ayra. "We need to stay hidden, Ayra. Let's observe them and make sure they're safe and that man is not close to them."

Hidden among the foliage, they watched the scene unfold. The children's faces were dirty and their clothes tattered, but their spirit was unbroken. Despite their circumstances, they shared a strong resemblance that hinted at their sibling bond.

"They really do look alike," Ayra whispered, her voice full of empathy.

Garnt nodded, his gaze never leaving the children. "We can't let them out of our sight. We need to make sure they're not in any danger now."

"I will talk with them, since I'm close to them in age, they will consider me as a friend," Garnt formed a plan to talk with these two identical kids. "I will signal if I need help so get ready,"
