Forbidden Corruption Flames

"I understand that you have your own problems, but that didn't seem the answer I'm looking for, you've yet to answer my question."

Kent said back in his cold indifferent tone.

Hearing this Aisha bit her lip to the point of it to almost bleed, due to the earlier smooth interaction they had with each other she forgot the person's true attitude.

Shaking her head and with a bitter smile, she continued. "Origin Soul Essence is like that of a protective control center, just like the word origin/originated, and soul, an area where one's soul is in. Soul is the very ego of an individual, the representation of one's existence. This soul that is protected by a tick, almost unbreakable barrier that shielded the soul from any outside interference."

She paused, inhaling deeply and exhaling before continuing.

"Origin Essence on the other had is something akin to that of a leftover left behind after an individual die's. One's a person dies, their soul or ego to be precise will leave their body for the afterlife to be judged before having the chance of being reincarnated. As the energy of the deceased couldn't accompany the ego to the afterlife, this is what origin essence is, the leftovers."

Ending her words, Aisha's expression turned complicated, memories of her previous peaceful world surface in her mind before vanishing a second later.

Listening to Aisha's, words that answered most of his questions and with some additional extra spicy information that seemed more like an enlightenment made Kanzen realized something.

He has been to lax all this time on the things that's going on, he even forgot a crucial fact that is his family and friends.

This realization is like a cold bucket of water been splash at him, just from this through Kanzen knew that he really had changed in both a positive and negative way.

But what could've he do, he has been trapped in a world of chaos and slaughter for about 1,500 years, the fact that he didn't turn mad after slaughtering billions of existence is already unreasonable enough.

The current him became like that of a battle maniac that couldn't live without the stimulation of combat to excite him.

This after effect reached the point where Kanzen subconsciously put aside his family as nothing but a secondary priority, his own subconscious prioritizing his entertainment and fulfillment ignoring other things.

Upon reaching this conclusion, Kanzen's expression turned a bit complicated, he could only shrug his shoulder and lament.

'I really did return, but am I really the same…'

He looked back at Aisha's majestic figure that has the same complicated expression as him.

Kanzen thank her after letting out a deep sigh.

Aisha thought, still unable to understand the thoughts running through the man's head.

He shifted his attention back to the dozen mana corrupted zombies corpses.

He could see bright small pillars of light dazzling brightly amidst the somewhat dark, eerie atmosphere.

"Hey, miss guide, can you give me another advice, about those glowing pillars."?

Aisha said joyfully, her complicated expression vanished, as she looked at the glowing pillars with a sparkling eyes.

"Quickly, quickly grab those stuff."

She pushed Kanzen towards the glowing pillars.

Seeing Aisha back to her cheerful side, Kanzen didn't resist and let her pushed her.

Kanzen asked.

"That, that's a random skill reward." She blurted out loud, showing that she's clearly overjoyed for some reason.

'A skill, huh? So, it's a precious power just like these three fellas staying ideal in my status screen info.'

Completely annihilated beings that been burned by the almighty corruption flames will be converted and degenerate into energy forms from their souls, spirit and physical body granting the user to brought up true death to those devoured creatures.

Possible reincarnation for the completely devoured creatures is impossible.
