Harry Potter: Book 1 Part 1 (Pet shop)

"Ah fuck, I can't believe you've done this," I said as I moved a paw to my fluffy head, I knew exactly how so many swords, spears, bows, shields and other things were made now, and it was all shoved in there at once.

As I raised my head to look around, I instantly noticed that I was in a cage with a crapy lock near the opening. The room I was in was crowded with cages of pets on display all around me, and it was very cramped, noisy and smelly. The walls were covered floor to ceiling with cages.

"Status." When I spoke aloud, all I heard was 'Fou', before a window appeared in front of me.

Fou: THE ALL FLUFFY FOU HAS ARRIVED! You may be a beast of Calamity, young you may be, but you are Fluffy.

Primate Murder: One who has obtained the 'absolute right of killing over man.'

Beast of Calamity: One who is a threat to human history.

Servant; Beast Class: A servant of the Beast Class.

Familiar of Merlin: While many in this land have forgotten you, you are still the Familiar of Merlin and shall guide his descendants down their path to Avalon.

--------------------------------------------------------------

It was as soon as I finished reading the description of 'Familiar of Merlin' that my head exploded with pain. I saw the history of this world. I watched as I interacted with the descendants and guided them.

I watched as they failed to reach Avalon, rejected me, and other such things as each time I interacted with them, I broke the chains that fate held upon them.

Furthermore, I saw myself being rejected by Lily Evans, and watching over her daughter. Not only that, but I watched Voldemort strike down James and Lily and intervened in his attempt at murdering the child and my subsequent capture years later from my weakening body.

The original me from this universe died in the pet shop from the after effects of the killing curse. I didn't know what to do with this information, and was stunned silent from the pain of the influx of memories.

It was the gentle hands that picked me up and stroked me that soothed the pain, a connection formed between me and who I now know as Harriet Potter. She held me closely and whispered sweet nothing's into my ears as the pain faded.

Walking into the Magical Menagerie was truly an eye-opening experience. Magical and mundane creatures lined the walls, stuck in cages but well cared for. Hagrid had stepped away from me to talk to the lady at the counter as I explored.

I walked through the store and watched fascinated at all the animals that I passed by; a magical beast with a long snout and a coat of black, fluffy fur playing with golden coins or the large Owls that looked on with intelligent eyes.

I truly felt like I belonged here as I walked through the room, when I reached the back of the shop I heard the rustling of a cage and just somehow knew there was a creature in pain.

Without realizing it, my legs moved towards the sound, I reached a rickety old metal change and saw a white fluffy creature that was pawing at it's head.

My hands moved to the lock before I knew what I was doing; a bobby pin from my long hair found its way into the cheaply made lock, and it was opened before I could stop myself.

I grabbed the creature and for the first time ever I felt complete; like it was something that has always been missing from my life that I never even knew I was missing.

I brought it up and whispered sweet nothing's into its ears and continued to pet it gently as it gave up pawing at its head. Not only that, but I knew as soon as I touched the creature that I had found a companion for life, that my uncle would never hurt me like he had before, and that I wouldn't be violated by that walrus of a man ever again. The feelings almost brought a tear to my eye as I hugged the creature.

"A'rreit!?" I heard Hagrid call for me, only just now noticing that I went missing. I slowly walked back to Hagrid holding my new pet. For some reason, I knew their name to be Cath Palug.

By the time I had made it back up front, Hagrid had finished talking to the lady and looked dejected.

"I'm sorry A'rreit, but I can' get yeh the pet I wanted ter get yeh." He looked so sad, as if he had been crying.

"It's alright Hagrid, I think I found the pet for me though." I said with the brightest smile I would probably ever give in my short life.

The lady at the counter barely looked up at me, she did a double take as soon as she laid eyes on Cath. "How in the bloody 'ell did you get that thing to be so calm with you!?" She yelled.

I merely tilted my head to the left as I continued to pet the purring cat-like creature siting in my arms. "I have no idea what you're talking about, he's been nothing but friendly to me." I said with the innocence I once had but lost this year.

"Fine, keep your secrets. You can keep 'Fou', that's what we call him as it's all it ever says, for free. You'd be doing us a favour." She huffed, annoyed. She handed me some cat treats and sent us on our way.
