"yeah but she's weak, and probably dead by now since she was most likely in the facility when you annihilated it."(Raya)

"oh yeah, large hole in the mountain side, used to be a research facility."(Raya)

I realsied the irony in that statement the second I said it, dammit.

she looked at me with a 'really?' look before looking back at the girl.

"I'd like to come with you."(girl)

"hell no."(syn)

"why not?"(Raya)

"she's not some lost puppy we found on tje street and we don't even have a destination, not really, we've been wandering with an idea of where we want to go."(syn)

"thats the best reason, I know these woods enough to stay clear of danger."(girl)

I rolled my eyes, something I find happening alot.

"we don't need to avoid danger I can take care of it."(syn)

"he can its really impressive!"(Raya) slipped, excitedly, I stopped myself but she's just a fountain of info to people we don't know isn't she?

"I would very much like to confirm this so I make sure not to leave two potentially vulnerable people alone in these woods."(girl)

I looked over at Raya and she was staring at the air in bewilderment.

"my system, is back?!"(Raya)

"so my thing wasn't lying when it said It was the source."(syn)

"wait! WHAT?!"(Raya)

"a little bit ago my system gave me a notification that systems were returning, said that it was the source and that me being sealed in a void for a thousand years cut off that source from the world."(syn)

"you've been captured and sealed before, how is that any different?"(Raya)

"I'll ask about that later but last time I was only hibernating forcefully, not actually sealed."(syn)

I realised that I'd done it again, looking over the girl had a face of disbelief.

"I say we leave now."(syn)

"good idea."(Raya) said, realizing our mistake.

I hoisted Raya onto my back as I started sprinting, the wind billowing amongst my hair aggressively, my shorts rippling like they would tear.

Raya was a complete mess, her face was deformed and her clothes were already tearing, she had snot and saliva flinging from her face as well, not pleasant to watch.

stopping a bit top quick Raya flew from my shoulders, smashing directly into amd through a tree.

I spun on my heels quick and jumped away, she scared the hell out of me!

"it took me longer than usual to catch up, you really are strong, where's your weapon?"(girl)

I extended my blades from my wrists.

"right here."(syn)

"so that crazy story was all BS."(girl)

"absolutely."(syn) I said in a heartbeat.

she drew her sword, the temperature changing as she did so, my clothes going from shorts only to athletic pants and long sleeve.

it's a bit lower than I'd like it to be but for now it should be fine.

she rushed at me slower than I was expecting, she could be actually this fast or maybe rationing strength, may even be something I'm not thinking about.

out blades clashed, neither of us shifting places as we held metal to metal, my x formation holding steady.

"your weapon beast must be strong, I have a glacier dragon in here."(girl)

I jumped back, slumping close to the ground as I put my hand over a black part of skin on my stomach, my blade disappearing as I held that part, my skin had died, her cold was no joke.

my body took on a red glow as I felt the energy grow my strength, this could be a trump card but at this point I'm only worried about not dying, the dead part of skin on my body sending my survival instincts into frenzy mode, my blodlust soaring.

my body vanished before her, appearing behind with a loud boom, the dying trees and plants blasting back as the wind from my stopping blew about like a storm.

I punched right at her sword, aiming at the only thing making her a threat, the metal blocking my attack as a crack in the blade shot forward like a lightning bolt, the girls look of surprise all too visible as she'd done exactly what I'd hoped she would.

"not possible."(girl) said in disbelief.

I was really only getting started, she hadn't seen anything yet.

but she wouldnt get to, Raya jumping directly into the middle of us and stopping anymore attacks.

"you can't go around fighting kids!"(Raya)

"I'm over 7 thousand years old, everyone is a kid to me."(syn)

she didn't like my answer, walking over and apologizing to the girl.

"feel free to come along with us."(Raya)

great I was already helping needy over there and now I had to watch over some random teenage girl i found in the middle of a forest, now that I'm actually thinking about it that's really fucking terrible, oh I'd be so arrested on earth for that thought alone, 'like yes I found this here teenager in the woods and now she's coming along on a journey'

that's kidnapping and a few others right there, I'd be on list.
