"I didn't think that I would finally marry you, Sam," said Jasmine, leaning on the shoulder of the man who has now become her husband. 

 "I didn't think so either," Sam said quietly.

 Jasmine smiled faintly, then hooked her fingers on Sam's. Being in the man's hand really made him feel comfortable and safe.
