A Rabid Dog.

In the palace of the Absolute, Kenjaku could be seen standing in the middle of the floor, hands clasped behind his back.

Wearing his signature outfit, which he 'acquired' from Toji Fushiguro and Satoru Gojo, Kenjaku seemed to he deep in thought at this moment.

"That fight with Zaiga revealed weaknesses that I'd been too arrogant to consider till now. I haven't trained by myself since I first resurrected in the last world...I've just been fighting like a maniac. That's one area I'm slacking in. Two..."

Opening his palm, a column of light appeared within, the light forming itself into a spear right after.

"...my spearmanship is lacking. The only reason I didn't pull this out is in the fight with Zaiga is the lack of confidence in my own skill with the weapon. Heh...how shameful. Worse yet, the Absolute claimed that the poured the entirety of his power and some of mine into forging this spear. So for now, this should be my most powerful offensive tool. Sigh...and I don't even know how to use it. If I remember right, he named this spear the True Longinus. An interesting name."

The True Longinus was an ornate spear with a dark blue rod that was more extensive than regular spears. It featured golden metal decorations, in the shapes of arrow tips, that spiraled around the rod in a double helix pattern.

The decorations finished at the top of the rod of the spear which featured a white circle, which was completely empty, and had a cross that filled in the circle, but not completely.

There was a small silver stump which featured four protrusions, two on the left and the other two on the right. The tip of the spear was silver, and similar to the rod of the spear is longer than other types of spears.

"Heh...if I go by the feeling this spear gives me, I think this will be my most powerful weapon going forward. I can't wait to see it's full potential. But first, I need to make an account of all the abilities at my disposal right now."

BOOM!

Kenjaku stabbed the spear into the ground, causing fissures to spread all across the palace floor. Just one light stab was able to inflict this much destruction.

With a wave of his hand, three average looking brown spears with iron tips appeared out of thin air, each accompanied by a silver aura, floating around him.

"He left me the ability to create these Legion Spears, the weakest weapons in my arsenal. They might not do much damage compared to Longinus, but they work well enough. After this..."

Kenjaku clenched his fist, causing the Legion Spears to disappear. This time by using both hands, he summoned a massive faceless legionnaire soldier, its head almost hitting the ceiling the palace, covered in crimson armor, equipped with a large crimson spear.

"The Holy Spear. Larger, faster, and several times more powerful than Legion Spears. Drains a lot more mana though. But...with the Six Eyes, mana conservation isn't a problem. Lastly, behind every spear is a usually invisible Legionnaire warrior guiding it towards the enemy with incredible accuracy."

Clenching his fists once again, the legionnare disappeared in a flash of silver light.

"Not counting the claw evolution I gained from absorbing Zaiga, that should be it...oh! Wait..."

Walking to another end of the room, Kenjaku outstretched his hand towards Longinus, clenching his fingers as if he was trying to grip the air itself.

"Absolute Authority."

WHOOSH!

Longinus, accompanied by a pile of rubble from the destroyed floor all flew towards Kenjaku, his mouth twitching when he realized what he had done.

"Tch."

Catching the Longinus spear, Kenjaku whipped it horizontally with incredible speed, sending a shockwave out that destroyed the rubble and even parts of the palace wall.

"This place will be reduced to bricks if I keep this up. Forget that for now. I need to start practicing my spearmanship-"

Suddenly, a gate opened in the middle of room, startling Kenjaku.

"Ken! We have a problem!"

Mei Mei ran out of the gate, her eyes filled with worry as she looked at Kenjaku.

Clearing the distance between them in one step, Kenjaku approached her and said, his tone stern, "Tell me what's going on."

Wiping the sweat off her forehead, Mei Mei placed her palm over her face, a look of frustration appearing across her face.

"First, you know the girl that we said would be Nagi's new host? Well, before I could bring her in, she decided to go raiding with her friend's brother and the White Tiger Guild...in a damn C-rank gate. I was a little bit annoyed that she didn't tell me first, since we're a guild and all, but I decided I'll talk to her when she comes out of the gate."

Noticing her anger building as she spoke, Kenjaku knew something had to have gone extremely wrong.

"Then you know what happens? The damn gate turns into a Red Gate! She's locked in there with monsters that could be A-ranked or higher! Then, when I'm racking my brain trying to figure out a way to rescue her, some S-rank hunter showed up, demanding to know where you and Sung Jinwoo were, saying that you two killed his brother!"

Now stomping her feet on the ground, her face was red with anger as she continued, "The worst part was, he said he would kill everyone in the Tyrant Guild if you didn't show up. Who the hell does he think he is making threats like that? If I had the strength I had be-"

"So, he threatened to kill my people. I'm guessing the man you're talking about is Hwang Dongsoo?"

Mei Mei, having heard the confidence in Kenjaku's tone, calmed down a little bit and responded, "It was something like that. Why? Did you really kill his brother?"

Causing his fur cloak to appear from his biomass, Kenjaku gripped Longinus tightly, opened a gate in front of them and responded, "Like the dog he was. Since his brother wants to kill those who belong to me, I'll be the one to reunite the family...let's go."

Without question, Mei Mei followed along. She knew it was time for action just by the look on Kenjaku's face.

A few moments later, the two appeared on a rooftop overlooking the area where the Red Gate was. Various people from different organizations had already appeared there, making a sizeable crowd of decently powerful hunters. It usually wouldn't be a good idea to cause trouble here.

It wasn't hard to find Hwang Dongsoo. Kenjaku already had a mental image of him from his brother's memories. He was standing in front of the gate with his hands in his pockets, his mana rolling wildly off of his body. It seemed as if he was just waiting for the gate to open so he could snatch Sung Jinwoo or Han Song-Yi up.

BOOM!

But unfortunately, Kenjaku wasn't going to let that happen.

Every hunter looked back when they heard his destructive landing on the ground nearby.

Before the smoke could even clear, Kenjaku walked out of it, his expression cold, his body glowing in a silver light.

"Hunter Kenjaku! Wait!"

Woo Jinchul popped up out of the crowd and stood in front of Kenjaku's way, hoping to stop him from doing what he thought Kenjaku was about to do.

"Hwang Dongsoo is an S-rank belonging to America, Kenjaku! If he see's you-"

"Toooo late!"

Hwang Dongsoo suddenly appeared behind Woo Jinchul and pushed him out of the way, confronting Kenjaku personally.

Kenjaku didn't back down against the hulking man. He held his ground as he stared the man in the eye, the grip around his spear tightening.

"I heard you were looking for me, you damned dog. So...here I am. What are you going to do?"

The surrounding hunters all instinctively took a step back when they heard the way Kenjaku speaking to Hwang Dongsoo.

Everyone knew about his bad temper and murderous nature, that's why most people, even other other S-rank Hunter's wouldn't try to piss Hwang Dongsoo off.

BOOOM!!

Hwang Dongsoo's overwhelming mana surged, blowing away most of the surrounding hunters just from its sheer power.

"Ohh? So you think you can just say what you want to me because Baek Yoonho is here to protect you huh?!"

Back Yoonho, another S-rank and the leader of the White Tiger Guild, clenched his fist and started approaching Hwang Dongsoo. He couldn't let his countrymen be bullied like this by a traitor.

Hearing that he needed to be 'saved', set off something primal with Kenjaku. A type of pride that only warriors of a certain stature shared.

SHOOOMMMM!

"Me?! Saved?!"

Kenjaku's mana surged out of his body like a tidal wave, forming a ever expanding pillar of silver light that pierced the clouds above.

Longinus shook fiercely and emitted a high pitched ringing as if responding to Kenjaku's heightened emotions.

'He could match my own mana levels? So, this one isn't as weak as the information I got painted him out to be. This runt must have reawakened. Tsk! No matter! I'm barely even trying! I'll suppress this little- Hm!!'

Hwang Dongsoo found himself unable to fully overcome Kenjaku's mana, no matter how much he tried to dispel it with his own. In fact, Kenjaku's mana seemed to get even stronger as he pressed against it, causing a bad feeling to wash over him.

"Enough of these games!"

Kenjaku stepped forward, his feet causing a large fissure to run through the ground. He was tired of playing around with Hwang Dongsoo. If this fool wanted to kill him, then he would remove him from this earth before Dongsoo even had the chance to.

Suddenly, Kenjaku's heard a woman's voice penetrate his ear from far away, causing him to pause his rampage.

"Ken! You need to save Song-Yi! Don't let that rat distract you!"

Hwang Dongsoo, hearing this, used this chance to withdraw his mana, and although very hesitantly, Kenjaku did the same. The former seemed to ignore the comment from Mei Mei calling him a rat as he said, "Tsk! This isn't worth the international trouble! I'll take care of this at a later time!"

Using that as his exit, Hwang Dongsoo grabbed Woo Jinchul and left in his car, giving up for now.

The surrounding hunters were speechless as they saw this. Hwang Dongsoo was scared off? By an unknown hunter?

Baek Yoonho was the one most surprised by this. He knew Hwang Dongsoo's strength on a personal level.

'To think he would leave after a direct clash...so this is the one my young subordinate was talking about!'

Just as Baek Yoonho was about to approach Kenjaku, the latter did something unthinkable.

BOOM!

"Pierce."

Kenjaku stepped forward, stomped on the ground and threw Longinus at the red gate with all of his might, the wind caused by speed of the throw alone blowing away the surrounding hunters too weak to resist.

The collision between Longinus and the Red Gate only lasted but a short moment. In no time, a large crack appeared across the gate, shocking any hunter who still concious enough to see it.

And as one would guess, in the next moment, the red seal broke, turning the gate back into it's original color.

"W-what's going on here?" Aren't red gates supposed to be unable to be opened?!"

Baek Yoonho was speechless. This feat was something that was supposed to be impossible.

Kenjaku, outstretched his hand as he walked towards the gate, causing Longinus to fly back into his grip.

'I knew there was something special about you. Then, lend me your power, my spear. Let's go mad!'

Not even bothering to wait on anyone else, Kenjaku entered the gate, leaving a few choice words behind.

"Since none of you can get it done, I'll go in to grab the survivors. Don't try to follow me."
