max followed evelyn as she had asked for him to stay by her side so he could tend to her when she needed him,

max approached the giant and the closer he got to the star devourer the more he felt it's horror and might.

only now he could fully appreciate how powerful his new backing was,

as max stayed near evelyn he saw more people come out from the trees, they must be from the group that evelyn was part of max thought

as he watched them gathered into the clearing max was amazed by how many they were, but then again with strong people like the youth with the sword and evelyn in their group being able to survive did not seem that difficult.

" are all the people in your group strong ? " max asked evelyn trying to get her to open up to him

" them " evelyn paused " of course not, not everyone is as great as your lady. even the little boy with a sword is already in the top 10 of the strongest people in the young generation, so don't be discouraged, as long as you work hard you might be able to catch up"

max did not know if she meant it but never the less he had already planned to become stronger and now with this sudden background he had just gained, his path was made a little bit easier.

after a while the two groups had gotten familiar with each other.

Sir james stepped aside as the youth with the mighty looking sword walked up to the front, he knew that he did not have the qualifications to lead, not with the new people who are stronger than him around, but still he was somewhat relieved.

"thank you for your radar, everyone should be grateful to her for without her radar i would never had been able to get here and save you in time" with that everyone who was saved looked at Fiona with grateful expressions,

fiona seemed very happy, not because of the grateful crowd but because theo had acknowledged her efforts.

" now we will rest up and after resting we will march, with fiona´s help the Phanes site of origin will be easy to fine so worry not "

everyone cheered and celebrated as soon as they heard of heading towards the Phanes site of origin,

the Phanes site of origin was the centre, were most of the Phanes energies concentrated when a ripple dimension door was being formed, because of this it is known as the very origin of everything that exists within a door.

evelyn and max sat to the side and watched

max stared at her beautiful face struck with awe at how charming her smile was, as evelyn laughed she soon noticed max staring at her in amazement and her heart skipped a beat.

his red crystal like eyes were so deep and looked at her as if she was the only girl in the world, as if her beauty would enrapture millions and cause wars.

she had never had anyone look at her with such devotion and appreciation as max, he could see that his eyes were not full schemes, something she made her happy as most man she had met before would always be thinking of getting the support of her clan when they tried to court her.

but his eyes were so pure, just appreciation for her beauty seeing this she started to feel as if maybe this little butler of hers was not so bad to keep, maybe she might not get bored of him and throw him away after the freshness has passed.

she reached out and stroked his face playfully " is my little butler amazed by his lady´s beauty", she asked .

" beyond beautiful" max said looking very enchanted and still unaware of his words.

hearing this evelyn felt happy and a little shy, many men have told her of her beauty and even songs and poems of her beauty as been spread across the kingdom but she had never felt happy by them, maybe because she felt the complex intentions behind every action and every word.

she could feel the greed for the power of the clan behind her, they didn't just praise her because of her beauty but also because she was the daughter of a powerful great clan.

having her meant they had the ability to wield a part of this behemoth´s power.

but every thing she felt from max was sincere and true without any other intentions.

she did not know how to react to his response for a moment, luckily max seemed to wake up from his daze and quickly apologized whilst panicking.

as evelyn watched his flustered appearance she felt very amused and delighted, she wanted to tease him very much.

max turned his head as if to avoid embarrassment but a evil grin flashed by his face for a brief second.

he felt that he had managed to trick her, max understood that many of the men who attempted to court her before pursued her not only because of her beauty, but most importantly also because she was the daughter of a great clan.

successfully pursuing her meant gaining not only a beauty but the backing of a great clan.

understanding this max knew that he had to be different from the rest, he was sure that he was not the first to come up with such an idea, so he could not be sure if he could hide his intentions deeper than the ones who had tried it before as not to be seen through.

looking at her reaction it seemed like he had somehow managed to gain initial success,

he knew that at the moment he was just a toy for her and if and when she got bored he would be abandoned, max had to change this and change his status in her heart and as long as he succeeded he would win.

evelyn did not know how to react to his actions for a while

" my lady what did you mean when you said poor things " max asked after a moment of awkwardness

" oh yes, they are poor little things " she said recollecting her calm

" look at them celebrating and happy believing they have found a savior but little do they know of the cruel and dark future that awaits them.
