Chapter 24: The bringer of darkness part 2

the next day,

the group got up and continued on, heading into the unknown.

no one knew what exactly luck was and what it entailed.

walking through the trees every one was still on guard, suddenly the trees got less and less till they had reached a clearing.

in the middle of this clearing there was seemed to be nothing but a box in the middle,

everyone stopped,

" what is it " someone asked

" we are fucked " a youth replied

" actually just shut up, i am getting sick of you and your ´ we are fucked nonsense ´, zach just shut up"

" can we focus on the totally not suspicious box in the middle of nowhere please"

" yea your right, what do you think it is though"

" something to fuck us up" the youth said not willing to give up

sigh* " just ignore him, he will shut up when he dies, so who wants to go get the box "

the group spoke among themselves, no one wanted to risk their lives and approach the box, everything seemed too suspicious.

after a while of arguments max step forwards, pushing through the crowd and walking into the clearing.

sophie looked a bit worried, she opened her mouth to stop him but held herself back

why should i care if he dies she thought stubbornly

everyone held their breath as max walked to the front, waiting for anything to happen and watch him get killed by something in front of their very eyes.

max was feeling very nervous too, he did not know what to expect and was ready to run at any moment.

with every step he took he felt as if he walked closer to his death, it's just a box max thought

nothing to get scared about he told himself.

max slowly made his way to before the box and everyone watch his every move.

after approaching close to the box he paused, expecting anything to happen

nothing happened just a peaceful silence,

" open it " someone egged on.

max decided to open it, he took a step forwards, reached down and opened the box.

then suddenly

Omm*

a dazzling golden radiance spilt out as the box opened before fading away to reveal a floating ring.

the ring was pitch black but shone with a luster and rich energy radiated from it.

" it´s a treasure !!!"

" no way, it feels like a rank 3 treasure "

" it's mine"

" fuck what do you mean i saw it first"

max heard them speak, he was annoyed at how they just ignored the fact that he just risked his life to approach the box first and got to it first.

he quickly picked it up.

soon the crowd rushed over a few of them surrounded him, but most just watched on.

" give us the treasure " someone said

" yea we need to see exactly what it is "

" that's right and we will keep it safe for you in our hands " a few people started to pressure him,

max knew that this only happened because he was weak, if it was someone stronger they would have just accepted that the treasure was his no matter how jealous they were.

he was sure they did not know how strong he was but wayne had told him that if someone is way weaker than you, you could feel it.

max had never had this feeling as he was the weakest but according to wayne it is sort of like an intuition, a sixth sense of sort just like how when someone is way strong than you, you can feel the danger from them.

" give up the treasure! " someone shouted, max looked at Sir james hoping he would keep the group in control and stop this but he just watched.

max understood, the weak deserved nothing, this was once again confirmed to him.

just like back then when he was weak, just like now.

he pulled out his sword from the void ready.

suddenly Henry, lily, wayne, sophie, grey and white walked out of the crowd and stood inf ront of max.

" his is with us " Henry said

his aura radiated out, his crystal like stars materialized

next to him sophie stood and she unlocked her mini gun, pulling it out, aiming at the crowd she was sure if a fight took place she would be able to kill many

as most of them could not dodge her bullets like the shadows could.

wayne took out his blade and grey and white stood aside.

suddenly a strange seen appeared in the clearing,

a group of 7 individuals faced against a group of more than 40 people

sparks flew

the air was tense,

Sir james was about to step in to stop this

then as every one was watching the stand off, suddenly transparent outlines that were merge in with the trees before suddenly turned brown

as the shadow hiding in the trees before formed a circle around the group and attacked.

as everyone was paying attention to max and his group suddenly the sound of stabbing and blood gushing out could be heard.

everyone quickly turned around only to find out that they were being attacked by the shadows.

heads rolled,

bodies fell

blood flowed before sparks went flying as weapons clashed and a fierce battle took place.

" shit there is a ambush"

" these fuckers again, i swear i am gonna kill them all this time"

" attack !!"

battle cries could be heard as the remaining people charged at the coming shadows.

max and the others soon joined the group in fighting the shadows, there was no other option if they just watch and everyone else ended up dead they would die too.

as the battle raged on suddenly with a swish a majestic sword flew from far and stabbed into the ground, no one paid it any attention.

then suddenly it swallowed all the light.

everything suddenly went dark.

no one could see anything.

max was about to kill a shadow then suddenly his vision went pitch black, he did not know what happened.

he suddenly lost sight of everything and was encompassed in darkness.

as he was confused he heard others shout in panic

" shit i can´t see"

" whats happened to the light"

" how do you stop this" everyone was scared, there was a million ways to die during a fight if you could not see.

suddenly sounds of a sword slicing through flesh could be heard, blood gushing onto the ground, bodies falling.

everything was now more audible without the ability to see.

max could hear things being killed, he felt helpless as he did not know if it were humans being slaughter or the shadows.

would he be next ?

shit, shit, shit i can not see anything, i need to escape he thought to him self.

as max was about to void walk and escape from this helpless situation the darkness disappeared and suddenly light returned.

his vision was back.

looking around he saw all the shadows his group was in a fierce fight with before dead on the ground killed with on slash.

max looked around at all the dead bodies, he couldn't believe they were all dead in such a short time.

he did not know if he could kill one shadow in the space of 10 seconds never mind doing the scene that was now present before his very eyes.

all of the shadows gone, killed by one slash, all in the space of 10 seconds.

and among the dead bodies stood a youth with a majestic looking sword.

" fear not, for i the bringer of darkness is here"

far behind the youth the trees swayed, some crushed by a saint foot and many falling over clearing out a path and from the trees a towering giant walked out,

the giant had an imposing aura, with every step the ground shook.

on this giant a sexy girl with brown toned glossy skin sat on its shoulders.

she wore armor that covered only the vital parts of her body but still allowed for her bumpy figure to be seen.

this was the girl max had seen before entering the door, the one that had overwhelmed Henry,

" your big sis is here, don't cry my little babies

uncle star is here too"

she said patting the giant´s head.

the youth ignored her

his eyes peered at max, max felt an overwhelming, as if he could be killed at any moment.

" give me the treasure "

the youth said.

max heard buzzed, his fist clenched he was happening again

" give me the treasure, don't make me repeat myself " the youth spoke his aura increasing

max felt his legs get weak, he gritted his teeth staring into the youth's eyes.

his veins bulged, his teeth clenched.
