Move 2: New World

Oli said while looking at the thing that appeared in his room.

What Oli saw was a door, and its surroundings had a faint green light, while the inside of the door was very dark, and he could not see what was inside.

Oli immediately backed away when he saw the weird door in front of him. Although nervous, Oli quickly took a stick just in case someone or something came out of the weird door, Oli had a weapon to use, but a few minutes later, nothing changed in the door. weird

"What the fuck is this?"

Oli said while looking at the door but still retained the distance between him and the door.

And suddenly, the weird door began to change. The inside begins to disrupt and alter itself. From a very dark inside, it changes into something clear.

Oli could see it. What was on the other side of the door was a forest. A green forest.

"Wow…"

The word Oli says while looking at the scenery in front of him.

"Is this a portal? Like those in movies and novels?"

Gulp.

Oli swallowed a bunch of saliva. Out of curiosity, he began to walk slowly towards the door.

"But, a portal to what?"

When Oli was only a meter away, using his right hand that was holding the stick, he threw the stick on the portal. The stick smoothly went through the portal and landed perfectly on the ground.

After the stick landed, Oli slowly raised his hand and, using his finger, tried to poke the inside of the portal to find out what would happen. And like what happened on the stick, his finger also went through the portal.

He felt a breeze coming from the other side. Then Oli started to push his whole arm through the portal and his whole body afterward. He slowly opened his eyes to check his surroundings and liked what he saw when he was in a forest.

He looked back only to see his room on the other side.

"Haha… HAHAHAHAHAHA! Awesome!"

Oli looked like a child who got his dream toy.

"It is a portal indeed! KUKUHAHAHAHA!!"

Oli crossed his arms and laughed like a villain.

"There's nothing wrong with my body… And I don't feel anything weird."

"Hahahahaha! With this discovery, I could become famous and wealthy if I publicized this portal and the new world on the other side! I'm sure wealthy people would fight among themselves just to get here! But in exchange, they would pay me a lot of money!"

"I could become an instant millionaire–no! Billionaire! Then all the people who mocked and treated me like a child would grovel on me and lick my feet! HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

While Oli was mumbling some crazy words to himself, he heard a scream of a woman.

"KYAAAHHHH!!"

Oli strongly turned his head towards the direction of the scream, which was on his left side. But that side was full of bushes.

Analyzing the tone of the scream, Oli was sure that it was not some couple that fucking behind the bushes. The scream was pure terror and agony.

And before Oli realized it, he was now walking in the direction of the scream. He looked back to check if the portal was still there, and he sighed in relief when he saw it was.

Then he continued walking. Oli did not know what happened or urge him to find out what the scream was all about.

Leaves, branches, and bush were all blocking the way, but Oli easily pushed them aside so he could easily pass. While he was doing that, he could hear various sounds though faint, and he was sure that something was happening on the other side.

Rustle Crack Rustle

The sounds of dry leaves and branches.

"AHHHHHHH!!!"

"HIIYAAAAAAA!!!!"

"KUHAHAHAHAHAHAAH!!!"

Now that Oli was close to getting out of the bushy area, he could now clearly hear all the voices. Screams, laughter, and the sound of the horses.

And the moment Oli finally got out of the bushy area, something unexpected happened, and he saw it because it happened in front of him.

A woman was running, and a man riding on a horse, clad in armor and had a sword in his hand, was chasing her. And it is known that humans cannot outrun a galloping horse.

So, when the moment the rider caught up on the woman, in one swift move, he cut off the head of the woman.

The head flew a few inches until it rolled on the ground and finally stopped. When that happened, the body of the woman didn't even realize that her head got decapitated from her body. The body continued to run a few inches away from the rider until it finally dropped to the ground and blood gushed out from the body.

Oli froze when he saw this happen. Then he shifted his gaze to the back of the rider. There was a village that was being burned down, and the same thing was occurring to the others.

Like the woman, they were also being chased out, and when the rider reached them, they would cut the heads as if it was some sort of tofu.

Yes. Oli was not a child who would scream and piss on their pants when they saw this kind of scene. He saw and read this scene many times in movies and novels. So, he shouldn't feel anything weird, but…

Humans have a defense mechanism that if they feel or detect a threat in their surroundings, the very first thing humans will do is to retreat or avoid the threat.

And Oli unconsciously stepped back, and as if by fate, he stepped on a branch that caused a noise that got the attention of the rider. Though the two were a distance apart, Oli saw the grinning face of the man. The rider hit the rein, and the horse slowly strode forward to where Oli was located.

Oli wanted to believe that he was on a movie set, but sadly, he didn't see a camera or anything related to filming. So when the horse started to walk, Oli turned his back and started to run like crazy!

"HIYA!"

Oli heard then after that, a loud sound of the rein hitting the horse.

"Huff… Huff… Huff…"

Oli started to run out of breath. He felt like he was running the whole day and added the feeling of nervousness. Oli's legs were starting to tire out. Luckily for Oli, he was running in the forest. So the horse would have a hard time following him.

"Fuck! I needed to get on the portal fast!"

Oli gritted his teeth, and Oli put all of his remaining strength on his legs.

Galloping Galloping

"HWHRHLWAHRW!!"

Then Oli saw the rider on his left side! He was starting to catch up on him!

The rider was shouting some words but Oli couldn't understand what he was saying. But looking at his expression, it was all written on his face what he wanted to convey to Oli.

"SHIT! What is this crazy world?! Fuck!"

Galloping Galloping

"There's the porta!"

Oli said when he saw the portal. Then he looked at the rider on his left side only to see that he was slowing down. Oli followed where the rider was looking, and the rider was looking at the portal with curious eyes.

"This is my chance while this bastard is slowing down!"

"AHHHHH!!!"

Oli shouted as he drained all his strength! He jumped into the portal and landed in his room.

"HIYAAA!"

When the rider saw Oli jump on the portal, he started to accelerate the horse!

"HKHAKGHWAKGHWAKGHKAWGHK!!"

"FUCK!"

Oli immediately stood up and looked at the portal. The rider was getting closer and closer, and he did not know how to close this portal!

"OPEN SESAME!!"

"FUCK! That's for the opening! Not for the closing! Shit! Abrakadabra!"

Oli said all the lines he remembers in movies but all of them did not work!

He looked at the rider, and it was only a matter of seconds before he could reach the portal and get in!

And as Oli was accepting his fate–getting killed, he looked down, and noticed something below the portal. Because the lights in the room were off, one couldn't see it clearly, but due to the green lights around the portal, Oli saw it and recognized it.

"Ring?"

Oli mumbled. Then he remembers the ring he threw. The exact moment he threw it, the portal also appeared out of nowhere. Without giving a thought to it, Oli quickly reached the ring!

He doesn't know if the portal would close if he picked up the ring, but that is what his instinct was saying.

And the moment he picked up the ring, the portal immediately began to shrink and disappear fast! And it was also the moment when the rider finally reached the portal but sadly, his left arm was the only part of his body that got in.

When the portal finally closed, the rider's left arm was cut off from his body.

"Huff… Huff… Huff…"

Oli was taking a deep breath after the portal closed. Then he looked at the bloody arm on his floor. The arm was not prosthetic, and the blood was not some sort of liquid mixed with food coloring.

Then Oli concluded…

"Everything that happened was real… What the fuck is that world?"
